Our holiday home is quietly situated in the village of Norgaardholz with a large garden, terrace and a far-reaching view over the meadows and the evening sky
Relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life on our large lawn or on the nearby beach or dog beach, which you can reach via a private path in only 300m.
The house has 3 enclosed bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people and 3 dogs
They are welcome and stay free of charge.
Especially families with children will find a nice holiday place here
At this place you will find pure relaxation, for example on the west-facing covered terrace with a view of the sunset, or on the nearby natural beach which changes its face at any time and you may let dogs run off-leash on the dog beach.
From October to April you can also use the whole beach with your dogs and go for a wonderful walk
Just walk as far as your feet will take you.
For families with children, the beach is also particularly beautiful because it leads gently into the water and you can enjoy warm water early on.
Our house offers all comfort like washing machine and dryer as well as bath tub and guest Wc, showers in the tub!
The house is equipped with tiles and oak parquet in the living rooms

The small community of Norgaardholz belongs to Steinberg on the Gelting Bay.
Shopping facilities are available in nearby Steinbergkirche or in Gelting
You can shop in Flensburg, Kappeln or Eckernförde.
Our house is nestled in a picturesque hilly landscape in the climatic health resort and seaside resort of Norgaardholz.
The direct location on the Baltic Sea coast is simply indescribably quiet and beautiful.
The area around the village is characterised by unspoilt beaches, attractive moors and a natural environment that has remained untouched by man until today and invites you to hike and linger.
The long beaches offer optimal conditions for relaxing days with the whole family and are like a discovery tour through nature for children.
Starting from Norgaardholz, you can reach the most famous sights of the region in no time at all.
Active holidaymakers can rely on a dense network of various cycling and hiking trails in Norgaardholz.
One of the best-known cycle paths in northern Germany, the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Path, also runs through the holiday resort.
enchanted boardwalks lead across the moors and meadows of the Habernisser Au and are ideal for spending time in nature.
Norgaardholz was first mentioned in Danish history books in 1619.
Unlike many other places, Norgaardholz made the leap from an idyllic fishing village to a recognised climatic health resort and seaside resort on the Gelting Bay.
Directly on the beautiful beach of the village is a DLRG seaside resort, with a jetty and bathing island
At the natural beach Klevelücke you will find a children's playground and the dog beach, both of which are close to each other and therefore well suited for families with dogs.

Vacation with dog.
Very clean and appealing holiday home in a very good location! Only a few minutes to the Baltic Sea. The information on the website was completely accurate. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this place/holiday accommodation is perfect. The equipment of the property is very good! There are shopping facilities within four kilometers (Edeka, Aldi, etc.). By the way, Edeka has a top assortment! The price-performance ratio is very good. We would love to come back with our dog!

Successful restart of our girls' holidays
After a two-year break, we finally went on a girls' holiday again with the girls (daughters, granddaughters and dog).
In the pictures, the house looked very idyllic and the location very impressive. But, what are pictures?
But when we arrived, we immediately had the feeling that someone wasn't quite telling the truth here:
The house is even more inviting, more beautiful, more cosy than described in the pictures. Nothing was missing! And when I say nothing, I mean it. No matter what we wanted to cook, everything we needed was in the kitchen. The TV was superfluous for us. In the large living-dining room there was enough space for all of us to write, read or paint. And if you wanted to retreat, you still had two large bedrooms where that would have been possible.
Last but not least, the garden is a highlight: so wonderfully colourful, little things to discover everywhere. Lots of birds to watch from the living room window or from the terrace
And the way to the sea is really only a stone's throw away. And not just "a sea", but a beautiful beach that surprised you again and again.
Even though we didn't get to meet the nice landlady herself: the lovely welcome and the delicious samples (they sweetened our evenings and the coffee sweetened our mornings) were so nicely served. Many thanks for that, Mrs Hentschel.
Unfortunately we can only give five stars. I would have easily given a few more. If you have any doubts when you read the ad: get rid of them! I don't think a house can be any better!

Holidays with the highest feel-good factor!!!
This was a dream holiday for us. Everything was just right. The house is clean and well maintained. The rooms are super divided, so that you could also withdraw from time to time. The bedrooms are big enough. In the kitchen you could store everything you needed. And the equipment was top. Enough cutlery and crockery, as well as pots. The garden was big enough so that you could spend a lot of time in it. The dogs could be outside all day without having to worry about them getting away as everything is fenced. The partition to the front garden was also very nice. There was a small garden gate in between. We have also grown fond of Robbi (the mowing motor). It runs once or twice a day and during this time the dogs can stay outside because they get a transmitter on their collar that switches off the mowing function as soon as the dogs come near. This was a great experience for our Peaches.
For us it was immediately clear that we would rent this accommodation more often for our holidays. It is like coming home.
Also due to the super nice contact with the landlord. Absolutely helpful and always has a sympathetic ear if there is ever a problem.
