Our holiday home is quietly situated in the village of Norgaardholz with a large garden, terrace and a far-reaching view over the meadows and the evening sky
Relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life on our large lawn or on the nearby beach or dog beach, which you can reach via a private path in only 300m.
The house has 3 enclosed bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 people and 3 dogs
They are welcome and stay free of charge.
Especially families with children will find a nice holiday place here
At this place you will find pure relaxation, for example on the west-facing covered terrace with a view of the sunset, or on the nearby natural beach which changes its face at any time and you may let dogs run off-leash on the dog beach.
From October to April you can also use the whole beach with your dogs and go for a wonderful walk
Just walk as far as your feet will take you.
For families with children, the beach is also particularly beautiful because it leads gently into the water and you can enjoy warm water early on.
Our house offers all comfort like washing machine and dryer as well as bath tub and guest Wc, showers in the tub!
The house is equipped with tiles and oak parquet in the living rooms

The small community of Norgaardholz belongs to Steinberg on the Gelting Bay.
Shopping facilities are available in nearby Steinbergkirche or in Gelting

Our house is nestled in a picturesque hilly landscape in the climatic health resort and seaside resort of Norgaardholz.
The direct location on the Baltic Sea coast is simply indescribably quiet and beautiful.
The area around the village is characterised by unspoilt beaches, attractive moors and a natural environment that has remained untouched by man until today and invites you to hike and linger.
The long beaches offer optimal conditions for relaxing days with the whole family and are like a discovery tour through nature for children.
Starting from Norgaardholz, you can reach the most famous sights of the region in no time at all.
Active holidaymakers can rely on a dense network of various cycling and hiking trails in Norgaardholz.
One of the best-known cycle paths in northern Germany, the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Path, also runs through the holiday resort.
enchanted boardwalks lead across the moors and meadows of the Habernisser Au and are ideal for spending time in nature.
Norgaardholz was first mentioned in Danish history books in 1619.
Unlike many other places, Norgaardholz made the leap from an idyllic fishing village to a recognised climatic health resort and seaside resort on the Gelting Bay.
Directly on the beautiful beach of the village is a DLRG seaside resort, with a jetty and bathing island

Vacation with dog.
Very clean and appealing holiday home in a very good location! Only a few minutes to the Baltic Sea. The information on the website was completely accurate. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this place/holiday accommodation is perfect. The equipment of the property is very good! There are shopping facilities within four kilometers (Edeka, Aldi, etc.). By the way, Edeka has a top assortment! The price-performance ratio is very good. We would love to come back with our dog!

Successful restart of our girls' holidays
After a two-year break, we finally went on a girls' holiday again with the girls (daughters, granddaughters and dog).
In the pictures, the house looked very idyllic and the location very impressive. But, what are pictures?
But when we arrived, we immediately had the feeling that someone wasn't quite telling the truth here:
The house is even more inviting, more beautiful, more cosy than described in the pictures. Nothing was missing! And when I say nothing, I mean it. No matter what we wanted to cook, everything we needed was in the kitchen. The TV was superfluous for us. In the large living-dining room there was enough space for all of us to write, read or paint. And if you wanted to retreat, you still had two large bedrooms where that would have been possible.
Last but not least, the garden is a highlight: so wonderfully colourful, little things to discover everywhere. Lots of birds to watch from the living room window or from the terrace
And the way to the sea is really only a stone's throw away. And not just "a sea", but a beautiful beach that surprised you again and again.
Even though we didn't get to meet the nice landlady herself: the lovely welcome and the delicious samples (they sweetened our evenings and the coffee sweetened our mornings) were so nicely served. Many thanks for that, Mrs Hentschel.
Unfortunately we can only give five stars. I would have easily given a few more. If you have any doubts when you read the ad: get rid of them! I don't think a house can be any better!

Holidays with the highest feel-good factor!!!
This was a dream holiday for us. Everything was just right. The house is clean and well maintained. The rooms are super divided, so that you could also withdraw from time to time. The bedrooms are big enough. In the kitchen you could store everything you needed. And the equipment was top. Enough cutlery and crockery, as well as pots. The garden was big enough so that you could spend a lot of time in it. The dogs could be outside all day without having to worry about them getting away as everything is fenced. The partition to the front garden was also very nice. There was a small garden gate in between. We have also grown fond of Robbi (the mowing motor). It runs once or twice a day and during this time the dogs can stay outside because they get a transmitter on their collar that switches off the mowing function as soon as the dogs come near. This was a great experience for our Peaches.
For us it was immediately clear that we would rent this accommodation more often for our holidays. It is like coming home.
Also due to the super nice contact with the landlord. Absolutely helpful and always has a sympathetic ear if there is ever a problem.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit Garten
Sehr großes Ferienhaus mit großem umzäunten Grundstück nah am Hundestrand. Ruhig und etwas abgelegen und trotzdem nah zu Flensburg oder Kappeln.
Für Hundebesitzer in tolles Feriendomizil.

Great holiday in a very nice house
We spent a wonderful week with our 3 dogs. For us, it is important that the property is well fenced and can also be fenced off from the road. Perfect to be relaxed in the garden (even with big dogs). The dog beach is a dream - natural beach with stones but long and plenty of space. The walk to the beach is also super short. The house is very well furnished (very lovingly). You feel like you are at home. The people are very nice. We will gladly come back.

Great holiday
Hello Hentschel family,
i'm sorry that it's taken us so long to write a review. But once the holiday is over, everyday life has already caught up with us again.
But now to our experiences. It is a very nice house. We found it clean and tidy. 4 stars for the furnishings, as the water setting for the shower was a bit complicated (I don't think there is an electrically operated instantaneous water heater yet). Otherwise a nice big bathroom. The rest of the rooms all nice and big and nicely furnished. The garden is great. The area is very quiet, you need a car for everything. But this did not bother us at all, because everywhere is short distances. The dog beach nearby had too many stones for us now that our dogs are old and can't balance the stones as well. It's great for young and agile dogs. We and our two dogs spent a wonderful week in your house and at the Baltic Sea. Everything was perfect for us. LG from Mönchengladbach from the Mertens family

A dream house!
We felt very comfortable in this house.
In terms of comfort and furnishings, a 1+ with a star. The dogs had fun too, as they could move freely in the garden.
The walk to the beach: a stone's throw. Also for dogs ;-D
Very well suited for a relaxing holiday
And if you need some action: Hansa Park is only about 2 hours away!
The only downside: you need a car for everything, as there were no shops in the village. Whether for shopping, for a pharmacy or even to get bread rolls at the bakery for breakfast. Therefore, for the location "only" 4 out of 5 stars.
We wish all other holidaymakers a pleasant time in the holiday home. It is worth it! :-)

Entspannt am Meer

Wunderbar
Ein liebevoll und aufwendig renoviertes Haus mit einer qualitativ hochwertigen Ausstattung, wo es an nichts fehlt. Ein riesengrpßes Grundstück mit einem traumhaften Blick über die Felder, wo man den Rehen und Hasen zusehen kann. Genug Platz für unsere Mehrgenerationenfamilie mit einem Rollstuhlfahrer und drei Hunden. Und der Kontakt mit Frau Hentschel war sehr nett. Wir kommen wieder.

Starry Meadow
We were very very enthusiastic. The house is a dream. Spacious, the furnishings very well coordinated and a lot of attention to detail. The garden is brilliant, the fencing, with dog and certainly with children, just great class.
The landlords are very very nice, the contact in advance was very good. Everything went absolutely smoothly!!!
WE CAN ONLY GIVE FULL MARKS, PLUS EXTRA STARS.

Die Zeit bleibt stehen
Hier kann man den Altag entkommen.
Der nächste Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist 4,5 ,km entfernt. Der Milchbauer dafür direkt eine Tür weiter und die Milch ist super lecker.
Wenn das Wetter mitspielt ist der große Garten mit Terrasse wunderschön und selbst die Milchkühe sind nicht störend.
Die Betten waren bequem und wir konnten ins Traumland reisen.
Selbst mit zwei Pkws konnte man auf das abgezäunte Gelände fahren.
Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und für Wanderer und Radfreunde ideal. Aber auch mit den Auto konnte man viel Erleben.
Hunde Eltern und ihr Rudel kommen dort auch auf Ihre Kosten , der Hundestrand ist in direkter Lage zwar etwas steinig aber es gibt auch einige Sandstrände wo der Hund herum tollen kann.
Das Haus ist komplett Eingezäunt, somit können ihre Vierbeiner oder Kinder nicht ausbrechen :)
Die Waschmaschine und Trockner , sowie die Wäscheleine sind für uns perfekt gewesen. So konnten wir zur Abreise direkt mit sauberer Wäsche nach Hause fahren und zuhause konnte der letzte Urlaubstag dann entspannt beendet werden.
Auf jedenfall ein Besuch wert.

Der Strand ändert immer wieder mal sein Gesicht, mal Sand mal Steine, aber es geht immer flach ins Wasser das ist finden wir die Hausptsache.

schönes großes Haus mit großem Garten für unsere Hunde
Wir waren wohl zur schönsten Zeit dieses Jahres hier nur Sonne, warmes Wasser am Hundestrand und in tolles großes Haus in dem es uns an nichts gefehlt hat.
Der Garten ist eingezäunt und wir konnten auf der Terasse entspannen während sich unsere Hunde ein kühles Plätzchen in den Büschen suchen konnten, oder auf der Wiese Brathering spielen.
Ein große Wohnzimmer mit schöner Sofaecke lädt auch bei nicht so schönem Wetter zum lesen oder chillen ein und vor allem der kurze Weg zum Hundesstrand, was soll man da noch sagen?
Wir fanden es hier toll und einen schönen Dank an Familie Hentschel auch für die unkomplizierte Buchung, schnell und einfach.
Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen und kommen sicher wieder

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit super gepflegtem Garten.
Vom Haus aus sind es max.10 min zum Hundestrand und 15 min zum Campingplatz mit Kiosk und einem Landgasthaus.
Alle Infos und Karten der Umgebung sind im Haus vorhanden.
