Description
Enjoy a relaxing holiday and simply unwind in our lovingly furnished holiday home (non-smokers, no pets).
For this purpose, there are generous 90 m² with lots of light and space on two levels. One bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with 2 single beds, two bathrooms (one of them with shower), a separate, fully equipped kitchen (cooker, oven, dishwasher, microwave), living and dining room are available. When it gets chilly, the underfloor heating in the living area and especially in the bathroom provides pleasant warmth.
In the house you will find a cosy sofa, satellite TV, radio, CD and MP3 player and reading material and board games for long evenings. Internet access via WLAN is also available.
New: permanently installed insect screens in all rooms and at the terrace entrance!
The peripheral location within the holiday park means pleasant tranquillity and the south and west facing, partially covered terrace ensures a relaxing break. In the lockable garden shed you will find bicycles, barbecue, toys and you can safely store your own bikes, canoe or diving equipment, inline skates etc. there.
Look forward to having your "own" home. A home is a place where your own key does not necessarily fit. Arrive and feel good!

Location and surroundings of object
The Frodo holiday home is located in the Emspark-Auenwald holiday park near Geeste in Emsland, in the middle of fields, woods and water.
It is only about a six-minute walk to the largest man-made lake in Europe, the Geeste reservoir. There is always something going on there, without it getting crowded. 800 m of sandy beach invite you to sunbathe and swim. A sailing area with moorings, a diving centre and surfing are ideal for water sports enthusiasts. The gastronomy at the lake offers space and culinary delights for necessary breaks.
The beautiful natural landscape of the Ems can be reached just as quickly. Canoeists will find wonderful water areas. Recreational captains use the nearby Dortmund-Ems Canal with its marina.
The holiday home is particularly suitable as a starting point for short, but also extended cycling tours and hikes. With its numerous and signposted paths, the Emsland is a true paradise for cycling tourists. The Emsland route and the Ems cycle path pass by the house.
Meppen, Lingen, Nordhorn with their historic town centres and attractive centres are within easy reach and tempt you to take a stroll.
Nearby are riding stables, a golf course, museums (Moor Museum) and a fishing pond only 50 m from the house. The Schloß Dankern holiday park with numerous leisure facilities for the younger ones is also not far away.

Restful days at the reservoir
The house has everything you need. Anyone who complains here is in the wrong place. Clean, quiet location, plenty of space. What more could you want. We had a nice vacation week with the bike and the right weather. Also, the communication with the Thielmann family was simply great. We are definitely looking forward to next year because we will be back. This house is worth recommending, unlike other houses in this settlement.

Relaxed autumn week at House Frodo
The house leaves nothing to be desired. We immediately felt at home. It was a super relaxing and sunny few days that we enjoyed. Walks around the lake and in the surrounding area were just perfect. We found places worth seeing in the house folder. It is very well equipped. Contact with the landlord was no problem at all.

Tolles Ferienhaus
Dieses Ferienhaus ist super. Sauber, praktisch, modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nix gemangelt und wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit gehabt.
Sehr schön an einem Speicherbecken und kleinen Teich gelegen. Auch wenn das Wetter typisch verregnet war, haben wir uns trotzdem pudelwohl gefühlt.

Super Ferienhaus
Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer schönen ruhigen Lage. Fußläufig ist es nicht weit zum See, wo man sehr gut spazieren gehen kann. Das Haus ist sehr groß, sehr modern und die Küche mehr als sehr gut ausgestattet. Ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus
Das Haus ist sehr sauber, sehr gepflegt und es ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es gibt genügend Besteck, Teller, Tassen und Gläser, sodass man nicht nach einer Mahlzeit gleich alles abwaschen muss, damit man für die nächste Mahlzeit auch noch ein Messer und einen Teller hat. Besonders toll fanden wir auch, dass im Gartenhaus Fahrräder (mit Schloss!) standen, die man benutzen durfte. Es gab nichts, wirklich gar nichts auszusetzen. Ich kann dieses Haus für einen gelungenen Urlaub nur empfehlen!

Great holiday home
We had a really great holiday in Haus Frodo, the reservoir was only a few minutes away, the holiday park itself is nice and quiet. We enjoyed using the bicycles, which were available free of charge. The cycling was great there. We also made a short trip across the NL border, the journey took 30 minutes.
There is a great barbecue in the garden house, which we used a few times. All in all it was a great holiday with everything your heart desires. The conversation with family Thielmann was very nice and obliging.
We will be very happy to come back

Super Urlaub

Tolle Zeit im Ferienhaus Frodo
Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende im Ferienhaus Frodo verbracht und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Die Lage ist wundervoll und lädt zu Radtouren oder einem Spaziergang am See ein. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben uns tolle Tipps für unsere Zeit dort gegeben. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Wir können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen. Bei Bedarf sind die Vermieter erreichbar, nett und unkompliziert und ermöglichen "Extrawürste". Im Haus fehlt es an nichts.

Einchecken und Wohlfühlen
Einfach nur toll, das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es fehlt an gar nichts.
Lage einfach nur klasse, einer der besten Häuser in der Anlage. Auf jeden Fall geht es nächstes Jahr dort wieder hin. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist mehr als fair.

Schöne Tage im Emsland
Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus Frodo mehr als wohlgefühlt.
Die Organisation klappte reibungslos und alles war vorbereitet, als wir ankamen.
Alles, was für einen schönen Urlaub nötig ist, war vorhanden, Mobiliar (auch für draußen), Geräte, Geschirr, Besteck, es fehlte an nichts. Hinzu kam die gute Lage mit der Nähe zum Speichersee und als Ausganspunkt für ausgedehnte Fahrradtouren.
Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Super Ferienhaus
Das Ferienhaus war mit allem ausgestattet was wir als kleine Familie brauchten. Die Kommunikation zum Vermieterehepaar ist tadellos und sehr freundlich. Die Hausnähe zum See ist u.a. ideal für Spaziergänge oder Jogging-Runden. Ein Spielplatz fand sich oben am Deich. Haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank

Schönes ruhiges Ferienhaus
Wir haben ein tollen Kurztrip im Haus Frodo genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet, es hat nichts gefehlt. Wir wollen auf jeden Fall dort noch weitere Urlaubstage verbringen.
Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und sie waren jederzeit sehr bemüht ihren Gästen den Urlaub so angenehm wie möglich zu machen- großes Lob!

Toller Aufenthalt im Emsland
Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gefallen – viel Platz und bis ins Detail ganz nach unserem Geschmack eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und alle Dinge sind sehr gepflegt. Nicht nur in der Küche, überhaupt sind alle Gegenstände vorhanden, die man brauchen könnte. Unser Sohn hatte die obere Etage für sich allein – mit eigenem Bad – das hat er sehr geschätzt. Man merkt sofort, dass die netten Vermieter das Haus auch für sich eingerichtet haben und großen Wert auf Qualität legen. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir haben zu viert ein verlängertes Wochenende im Haus Frodo verbracht. Es ist alles da, was macht braucht. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Wetter hat auch mitgespielt, was will man mehr. Jedes Mal wieder!!!
Wir waren damals schon einmal dort (2017) und fahren dieses Mal (2019) auch wieder nach Geeste. Davon abgesehen wie super die Kommunikation zwischen Mieter und Vermieter funktioniert und Die Vermieter ein super nettes und sympathisches Ehepaar ist, ist dieses Haus einfach ein Traum. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, schön geräumig und hell. Ein Ort, wo man die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Wir würden da immer wieder hinfahren. Preis-Leistung ist natürlich der Hammer . 100 Punkte :D
