Description
Our holiday home is an old Harz house in St. Andreasberg. It has been renovated with much love and care. Children and dogs are welcome here.
The holiday home is centrally located, yet surrounded by greenery. Within 5 minutes you can reach the bakery, butcher and a small supermarket on foot. Restaurants and cafes are within walking distance.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher and microwave.
In summer, a nice sitting area outside invites you to linger for a long time.
In winter, two sledges are available.

Location and surroundings of object
St. Andreasberg is a climatic health resort in the Harz National Park. There are several interesting sights here in the town, such as the Grube Samson Mining Museum, the Harz Roller Canary Museum and the Sankt Andreasberg National Park House.
The flowering mountain meadows in spring are remarkable.
There is a summer toboggan run on Matthias Schmidt Mountain in summer. St. Andreasberg is the ideal place for Nordic walking, hiking and mountain biking
Due to its altitude, St. Andreasberg is relatively snow-sure. There are three T-bar lifts on the Sonnenberg and two double chair lifts and three T-bar lifts at the "Matthias-Schmidt-Berg" ski centre.
There is a toboggan run at the spa gardens. There are km of cross-country ski trails around Sankt Andreasberg.

Great Christmas vacation
Cosy and spacious. We lacked nothing. Very lovingly furnished. We (4 people + dog) stayed for several days over Christmas in 2018 and 2023 at the Ferienhaus zur Taube. A supermarket can be reached on foot in 8 minutes. Likewise, a few restaurants can be easily reached on foot.

We were in St. Andreasberg with 6 men over 50. The Samson mine, as well as shops for shopping and gastronomy are nearby.good starting point for trips to the surroundings. Equipment of the flat more than sufficient (even spices), clean, 2 bedrooms with sink, 3 WC's good care of the flat on site. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would all come here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely house!
We, family with 3 children, had a great vacation! We really liked the house. Everything you need and more is there... There are good beds and 2 wonderful showers. We can definitely recommend it!
