Family vacation

We had a great holiday with three families with children.
The house was very clean and we were surprised how well-equipped it was. There was plenty of toys and activities for both the children and the adults, both inside the house and in the garden. We also found everything we needed in the kitchen.
The location is ideal for excursions, exploring the entire island on foot, by bike or by car.
The landlord is very friendly and responds quickly and reliably.
We will gladly come back!

Holiday with many friends in top location

The house offers plenty of space and is well equipped for all guests. The quiet location between the sea and lagoon makes you want to take long evening walks. But the property itself also offers a variety of leisure activities. The only disadvantage is the number of bathrooms. With 2 bathrooms for 13 guests, there may be a bit of a queue in the mornings, but if everyone cooperates, it's manageable. Overall, it was a top vacation in a top house and we would love to come back again.

Great accommodation for families with kids

Dat Klinkerhus is a great place to stay for bigger groups. The accomodation is spacy, fully equipped, modern, stylish, prepared even for families with children (both indoor as well as outdoor places for kids). We have enjoyed that some of the must-see places on the island are close (Kap Arkona, Jasmund national park).
The accomodation was exceptionally clean on our arrival. The host is very responsive in communication and even helped us very swiftly when we managed to lock us outside of the house (by our mistake).

Exactly what you are looking for

We rented this house for a relaxed birthday weekend with our immediate family. Already in the run-up and also during the stay, the landlord was always available and answered promptly.
The house is in a very quiet location. Due to the large number of rooms and the spaciousness of the house, everyone had enough space for themselves and also a place to retreat. In the end, there were 8 of us there and for us the house was sufficiently equipped, very clean and allowed us to relax as we were looking for. The location means that you can get to Glowe and the Baltic Sea very quickly by car. It only takes about 25 minutes by car to reach Cape Arkona.

In the end, we liked it so much that we decided as a family to have a weekend like this once a year and will certainly come back again. Thank you for that! :)

Perfect for large groups

For our stay in this house, which is clean and decorated with a lot of attention to detail, we can only say that if 7 stars were to be awarded, it deserves them.

The landlord, Mr. Knoren, was always available and immediately took care of all matters.

The quiet yet central location on the island of Rügen is an ideal starting point to explore it. Therefore, we, who had a lot of fun and relaxation here with 12 adults, can only highly recommend this gem of Rügen.

We have rarely found a holiday accommodation so well-equipped in every respect. As a large family, we lacked nothing and felt very comfortable. We would like to particularly highlight the landlord's child-friendliness, which was evident in many small and large details. Our grandchildren enjoyed discovering and using everything. The super quiet location of the house was also a plus for us, with the slightly further distance to the cliffs or the beach easily manageable. We gladly accepted the sandy beach. Other activities are also easily accessible.

Perfect for 3 generations

For several years now, we have been spending the days between Christmas and New Year's at the Klinkerhus. We, that is 3 generations with a total of 10 people. There is definitely enough space for everyone. Three children, a teenager, two sets of parents, and the grandparents - all have space. The large table is perfect for eating, and the living room also offers space for everyone to play or simply sit together comfortably. The house is quietly located on the outskirts of Polchow, allowing you to avoid the hustle and bustle. By car, you can reach Sagard in 3 minutes and Glowe in 10 minutes.

We can wholeheartedly recommend the house and will be guests of Mr. Knoren again this year :)

The brick house has style, it is bright and has a tasteful decor. Additionally, it offers plenty of space and a beautiful garden. Sometimes, we missed a third toilet. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and would book it again.

The flower bouquet on the table for welcome was very inviting.
4 families had plenty of space to unfold.
The kitchen is well equipped.
Every room is clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable and even more so with the beautiful flowers around :)

Completely satisfied

We spent a very relaxed and restful week in this great holiday home. You can already see at first glance that the landlord has really thought about how to make the stay optimal for his guests. From the kitchen equipment to the range of seating options inside and outside to the leisure activities for children, everything has been taken care of. Even though our family of 11 people almost reached the maximum capacity of the house, thanks to the spacious room layout and huge outdoor area, it never felt crowded for us. It is also worth mentioning the pleasant contact with the landlord. All in all, a clear recommendation!

Quick tip: Definitely bring bikes, as the surrounding landscape is best explored that way.

Beautiful house in prime location

A very beautifully situated house. Spacious and well-divided rooms for multiple families. Very nice garden with a small playground. The Bodden is within walking distance, but not ideal for swimming. You need to drive to Glowe beach by car (10 minutes).
Otherwise, a small restaurant 300 meters away. Overall, everything was great!

We were very kindly accompanied before the trip :-) Arrived at the brick house = saw = thrilled = felt comfortable!! The house is worth a visit, very well equipped. Everything is available. Sufficient cutlery, dishes, pots, and pans. Great bedrooms, two large bathrooms. Beds very comfortable. We were there with 8 colleagues and everyone was satisfied with the house, unfortunately, the weather didn't quite cooperate with us, but still a beautiful island. There's a lot to experience and see. Thanks also for the nice care from the landlord.

A beautiful week in Polchow

For the third year in a row, we spent the Christmas holidays with three generations of us ten at Klinkerhus. And again, we felt very comfortable. We, as a 4-generation family (4-75 years old), spent some great days in this wonderful house. The amenities are fantastic. The house was lovingly decorated. Nothing is missing. Even with 12 people, you don't feel crowded, as all rooms are very large and bright. The view of the Bodden is priceless. The property is simply fantastic for young and old. Even a small playground has been thought of. Unfortunately, we could not meet Mr. Knoren in person, but the phone contact was very pleasant.

We spent a wonderful week at Klinkerhus as a large family! The house and garden offer enough space for 12 people. Great that all 12 can sit at one table for meals together. We enjoyed the quiet and beautiful view of the Bodden, and many attractions on Rügen are easily accessible from here. Absolutely recommendable. Super!!!

We wanted to go on vacation with all our loved ones and ended up being 11 people, so we needed a big house!
This holiday home offers plenty of space for all generations & great amenities to accommodate everyone!
The beach is only about 5 km away and very clean.

A special surprise awaits every evening around 10:30 pm when the fireworks of the "Störtebeker Festspiele" take place on the opposite side of the Bodden.

You can tell that this house was inhabited by the owners themselves, which is evident in the personal furnishings, playground in the garden, grill, household items. 4 Days - 3 Generations

This year, we spent the Christmas holidays at the Klinkerhus with three generations. We were 10 people, including children, and the house is perfectly suited for this. The large number of bedrooms caters to all wishes of young and old ;-)
At the big table in the kitchen, everyone can eat together, and in the living room, everyone finds a comfortable place. There is also a fireplace. From the quiet village of Polchow, you can take trips to the island or simply relax here from the stress of the year. We can only recommend the house.
