Description
Exceptionally lovingly restored Gulfhof in typical East Frisian clinker brick construction. The kitchen is equipped with East Frisian accessories such as an East Frisian sofa and a wood-burning stove and has a large panoramic window with a view of the East Frisian landscape with fields and animals as well as the typical windmills. There is also a sauna for approx. 4 people and a relaxation area with 2 loungers, from which there is also a view of the Frisian expanse. By booking the second, adjoining holiday flat, up to 10 people could thus spend their holiday together or simply have a nice time. The second flat (also) has a slightly larger sauna that can accommodate up to 10 people.

Location and surroundings of object
The rest farm is located in the outskirts of the small village of Altharlingersiel. Neuharlingersiel and Carolinensiel are both about 4 km away. The farm is situated in the middle of farmsteads, where you can also have a look around, they are all nice people. There is agriculture and cattle farming. Windmills as
Windmills as power generators are part of everyday life and blend into the landscape. Our region is ideal for cycling, there are extensive signposted cycle paths. In Harlesiel there is a beach with a restaurant/cocktail bar with a large terrace from which you can enjoy the sunset over the sea. From Neuharlingersiel the ferry departs for Spiekeroog, arguably the most beautiful of all the East Frisian islands, this should be worth a day trip (the ferry terminal can be seen from the flat, the distance is about 4 km).

East Frisia is fun
We actually booked a vacation in the south, which had to be canceled due to an illness.
Now we needed a quick alternative and decided on East Frisia.
That was a very good decision and we had a wonderful vacation.
The holiday apartment was really nice. You have everything you need and more than enough space. You can relax very nicely on the terrace with a view of the field. We were lucky and were able to explore East Frisia in sunshine.
Since the holiday apartment is located very centrally, various destinations along the coast were quickly accessible in both directions.
We can confidently recommend the holiday apartment.
The contact was always friendly and pleasant as well.

Dear Zimmermanns,
after a trouble-free journey, we have arrived home safely. We hope that we left the flat reasonably as you imagined it. In any case, not even one glass was broken and everything worked perfectly.
The week in the north was wonderful again, the weather was great. And your fantastic holiday home with the sauna, relaxing in the garden and in the evenings in front of the fireplace put the icing on the cake - pure relaxation, what more could you want. We will definitely come again.

Wonderful week on the North Sea coast.
Dear Zimmermann family,
a big thank you for your great accommodation! We felt completely comfortable in your perfectly equipped, spacious and tastefully furnished holiday home. Nothing was missing, everything was well-maintained and very cozy. From the house, we went on many excursions that were easily reachable by car (Spiekeroog, Norden, Neuharlingersiel, Carolinensiel, Schillig, Bensersiel...). Afterward, everyone recovered in the sauna, by the burning fire in the kitchen, and the children always enjoyed playing on the square-shaped device in the living room. In summer, you can surely also get to the North Sea easily by bike...

Tranquility and tranquility near the North Sea.
An apartment, more like a holiday home, straight out of a picture book! Not only does it have everything you need for a stay of one or more weeks, but the apartment is exceptionally tastefully designed and furnished. At times, one might think, this is how it should be at home too. Stepping onto the terrace with an unobstructed view of the fields, a sense of tranquility envelops you—nothing but peace; and for children, a large playground. The price is more than justified and reflects the high quality of the apartment. The Zimmermann couple welcomes you warmly and handles the organization in a straightforward manner. One can only rave and recommend to everyone to spend a few days or even more there. If a soul can relax anywhere, it's there!

Quiet and beautiful house
At the beginning of June, we spent a week at the Zimmermann family's vacation house in Altharlingersiel. The house is just as beautiful as in the pictures on the internet – large, very nicely furnished, and luxuriously equipped, with drinks in the fridge and fruit welcoming us. It's hard to imagine anyone not feeling comfortable in this environment right away. After many wonderful day trips, for example to Spiekeroog, we were looking forward to coming back "home" every evening. Of course, during the one week we could not make use of all the amenities of the house - sauna, washing machine, dryer - but we were very pleased with the storage facilities for our bicycles in the barn. We would like to recommend this house wholeheartedly and thank the Zimmermann family for the uncomplicated handover upon arrival and departure.
