Description
Exceptionally lovingly restored Gulfhof in typical East Frisian clinker brick construction. The kitchen is equipped with East Frisian accessories such as an East Frisian sofa and a wood-burning stove and has a large panoramic window with a view of the East Frisian landscape with fields and animals as well as the typical windmills. There is also a sauna for approx. 4 people and a relaxation area with 2 loungers, from which there is also a view of the Frisian expanse. By booking the second, adjoining holiday flat, up to 10 people could thus spend their holiday together or simply have a nice time. The second flat (also) has a slightly larger sauna that can accommodate up to 10 people.

Location and surroundings of object
The rest farm is located in the outskirts of the small village of Altharlingersiel. Neuharlingersiel and Carolinensiel are both about 4 km away. The farm is situated in the middle of farmsteads, where you can also have a look around, they are all nice people. There is agriculture and cattle farming. Windmills as
Windmills as power generators are part of everyday life and blend into the landscape. Our region is ideal for cycling, there are extensive signposted cycle paths. In Harlesiel there is a beach with a restaurant/cocktail bar with a large terrace from which you can enjoy the sunset over the sea. From Neuharlingersiel the ferry departs for Spiekeroog, arguably the most beautiful of all the East Frisian islands, this should be worth a day trip (the ferry terminal can be seen from the flat, the distance is about 4 km).

after a trouble-free journey, we have arrived home safely. We hope that we left the flat reasonably as you imagined it. In any case, not even one glass was broken and everything worked perfectly.
The week in the north was wonderful again, the weather was great. And your fantastic holiday home with the sauna, relaxing in the garden and in the evenings in front of the fireplace put the icing on the cake - pure relaxation, what more could you want. We will definitely come again.

Wonderful week on the North Sea coast.
Dear Zimmermann family,
a big thank you for your great accommodation! We felt completely comfortable in your perfectly equipped, spacious and tastefully furnished holiday home. Nothing was missing, everything was well-maintained and very cozy. From the house, we went on many excursions that were easily reachable by car (Spiekeroog, Norden, Neuharlingersiel, Carolinensiel, Schillig, Bensersiel...). Afterward, everyone recovered in the sauna, by the burning fire in the kitchen, and the children always enjoyed playing on the square-shaped device in the living room. In summer, you can surely also get to the North Sea easily by bike...

Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit in Nordseenähe
Eine Wohnung, eher eine Ferienhaushälfte, wie aus dem Bilderbuch!
Nicht nur, dass alles vorhanden ist, was man in 1 oder mehreren Wochen Aufenthalt braucht. Die Wohnung ist außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll geschnitten und eingerichtet und man denkt bisweilen, so sollte es zu Hause auch sein.
Wenn man auf die Terrasse mit dem freien Blick in die Felder tritt, umschließt einen Ruhe. nichts als Ruhe; und für Kinder eine große Spielwiese.
Der Preis ist mehr als gerechtfertigt und spiegelt die Hochwertigkeit der Wohnung.
Die Eheleute Zimmermann empfangen einen mit Herzlichkeit und wickeln das Organisatorische unkompliziert ab.
Man kann nur schwärmen und jedem ans Herz legen, dort einige Tage oder besser noch mehr zu verbringen. Wenn irgendwo eine Seele baumeln kann, dann dort!

Ruhiges und schönes Haus
Anfang Juni verbrachten wir eine Woche im Ferienhaus der Familie Zimmermann in Altharlingersiel. Das Haus ist genau so schön wie auf den Bildern im Internet – groß, sehr schön eingerichtet und luxuriös ausgestattet, auch Getränke im Kühlschrank und Obst hießen uns willkommen. Schwer vorstellbar, dass sich in dieser Umgebung jemand nicht sofort wohl fühlt. Nach vielen schönen Tagesausflügen, z.B. nach Spiekeroog, freuten wir uns jeden Abend wieder „daheim“ anzukommen. Natürlich konnten wir in der einen Woche nicht alle Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses – Sauna, Waschmaschine, Trockner – nutzen, aber die Unterstellmöglichkeit für unsere Räder in der Scheune hat uns sehr gefreut. Wir möchten dieses Haus von ganzem Herzen weiter empfehlen und danken Familie Zimmermann für die unkomplizierte Übergabe bei Ankunft und Abreise.

Beautiful house in the nature
We spent a wonderful holiday in Altharlingersiel as a family of 6. The house is furnished with love, we didn't miss anything (of course we wouldn't have minded a super espresso machine ;) ). Oven, microwave, induction cooker, dishwasher, blender, washing machine.... everything there. We definitely recommend taking bicycles or renting them in the area. You can then easily reach the beach in Neuharlingersiel and Harlesiel, the ferries to Spiekeroog and Wangerooge and the great mill bakery in Werdum. Smaller and also extended bicycle tours can be done on a well-developed and well-maintained, flat bicycle path network: many windmills, the town of Jever, other small towns. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the beautiful sauna - we would have liked to, but the weather was just too hot for that with temperatures of over 30 degrees every day. I hope we will be able to make up for it. The landlords are very accommodating and uncomplicated.

House to move into

Beautiful
We received a very warm welcome from the very friendly landlords.
The holiday flat, which from our point of view is more like a holiday home, is perfectly equipped and very lovingly furnished. There is really nothing missing.
The beach is easily accessible by bike.

Sehr gut
Hochwertige Ausstattung, wirklich alles vorhanden was man braucht. Durch die Sauna und den Ofen und die Größe der Wohnung gerade auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter sehr gut für einen Urlaub geeignet. Neuharlingersiel und Carolinensiel in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und mit dem Gulfhof Butendiek sehr ordentliches Restaurant nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt.

Ein Genuss!
