Holiday Apartment Groeter Staete 7 is located on the 1st floor (elevator available) in a small apartment building in the center of Groet. It is excellent for a wonderful beach vacation. The spacious holiday apartment with a balcony is attractively and comfortably furnished and has a nice location with a beautiful view. A small, sunny balcony is available. The location is very nice, only 2 km to the beach! Layout: Entrance area with separate WC, beautiful living room with comfortable seating, TV with several German channels and WiFi. Dining table and open and fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom with double bed (160x200) and a small children's room with bunk beds. Modern bathroom with duo shower. Storage space for your bicycles is available for general use.
You can load and unload in front of the door. You can park the car across from the building in the residential area (about a 2-minute walk). Parking in Groet is free.

Just behind the apartment building, beautiful cycling and hiking trails lead through the forest and dunes to the beach.
In Groet there is a small supermarket, butchers, bakers, bike rental, restaurants and 'sociable' terraces. During the summer months Groet offers a night market every Monday evening.
A fantastic mountain biking parcour is also within walking distance of the apartment. Parking on the beach is possible - there is a large car park (€ 6, - per day).

Together with Bergen and Schoorl, Groet offers a very rich offer of everything in a small setting. There are fantastic biking and hiking trails through dunes and forest areas and hundreds of kilometers of sandy beaches. In the nearby artists' village Bergen you will find art markets, galleries and opportunity to go out with live music. Alkmaar, famous for the old town, the weekly cheese market and the canals, offers fantastic shopping and is located about 15 km from Groet. Amsterdam can be reached in about 60 km - 40 min by train from Alkmaar to the center of Amsterdam.
