Exceptionally lovingly restored Gulfhof with gallery, eat-in kitchen and integrated sauna with panoramic view. The large kitchen-living room is surrounded by glass, giving a clear view of the East Frisian landscape with fields and animals as well as the typical windmills. An additional highlight is the integrated outdoor terrace, which invites you to spend some cosy hours. In the large kitchen-living room, the original studwork is in view and can be admired over both floors past the gallery.
First occupancy as of This property is not a conventional holiday home, we have prepared it in such a way that we feel comfortable ourselves. Very generously laid out - in the centre the sauna with a large panorama window around which the winter garden and the inner terrace are arranged. Wellness feeling with an unobstructed view without disturbing neighbours. This also includes high-quality furnishings such as the kitchen or the Miele washing machine/dryer. By booking the second, adjacent holiday flat, up to 12 people could spend their holiday together or simply have a good time. For this
the sauna in this flat is a little bit bigger - so that up to 10 persons can enjoy their holidays in it (the neighbouring flat would of course also have a smaller sauna)

Location and surroundings of object
The rest farm is located in the outskirts of the small village of Altharlingersiel. The distance to Neuharlingersiel and Carolinensiel is about 4 km. Windmills as power generators are part of everyday life and blend into the landscape. Our region is ideal for cycling, there are extensive signposted cycle paths. In Harlesiel there is a beach with a restaurant/cocktail bar with a large terrace from which you can enjoy the sunset over the sea. From Neuharlingersiel the ferry departs for Spiekeroog, arguably the most beautiful of all the East Frisian islands, this should be worth a day trip (the ferry terminal can be seen from the flat, the distance is about 4 km).

Super Wohnung
There's nothing missing. One could become envious. We were there with 4 adults and 2 children. Something very special is, of course, the sauna. Many thanks to the Zimmermann family. The beach and shopping facilities can be easily reached by car. Hopefully, we can come back soon.

Familienurlaub
We spent 3 weeks as a family of five (2 adults, 3 children) in this beautiful holiday home. The pictures depict reality. It was very clean, which is a big plus for us. The owners were very friendly and helpful in case of problems (car). The sea is not far away, making planning beach days very easy. There are also cultural opportunities in the area as well as attractions for children. City tours in cozy small towns or even in slightly larger ones are also easily possible. All in all, we really have nothing to complain about. It was truly a beautiful vacation and we will definitely come back.

Beautiful house in the nature
We spent a wonderful holiday in Altharlingersiel as a family of 6. The house is furnished with love, we didn't miss anything (of course we wouldn't have minded a super espresso machine ;) ). Oven, microwave, induction cooker, dishwasher, blender, washing machine.... everything there. We definitely recommend taking bicycles or renting them in the area. You can then easily reach the beach in Neuharlingersiel and Harlesiel, the ferries to Spiekeroog and Wangerooge and the great mill bakery in Werdum. Smaller and also extended bicycle tours can be done on a well-developed and well-maintained, flat bicycle path network: many windmills, the town of Jever, other small towns. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the beautiful sauna - we would have liked to, but the weather was just too hot for that with temperatures of over 30 degrees every day. I hope we will be able to make up for it. The landlords are very accommodating and uncomplicated.
