Beautiful apartment (75 m2) situated in a panoramic position in the renowned Positano, one of the most typical resorts along the Amalfi coastline.The main beach is approx. 100 m away and is reached by a staircase surrounded by greenery and also used by the guests of the two apartments down below. The apartment is one of the oldest in the village and its appearance is due to a painstaking restoration which was carried out re-using the former building materials together with modern items such as the famous ceramics from Vietri. Positano is a fishing village, port for Capri and health and seaside resort on the Amalfi coast. It has white houses with vaulted roofs and is laid out on terraces amongst gardens, palms and citrus groves on the slopes of Mount Sant?Angelo a Tre Pizzi and Mount Comune. It was founded by the people of Paestum, who lived through the Saracen invasion, and was later a rival of Amalfi. It has a beach with a small sandy area in front of a cliff. You can visit the Church of Santa Maria Assunta which has a cupola covered with majolica and is divided into three parts internally. The campanile is thirteenth century. Events include the Positano Dancing Competition and a September Music programme.
