Description
The gite des libellules has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a 30 m2 covered terrace overlooking the river. You can arrange your stay by renting one, two or three bedrooms to suit your needs.
The gite has a wood-burning stove and central heating.
The whole property is virtually self-sufficient in energy: photovoltaic panels for electricity, solar thermal energy for hot water, wood for the stove and pellets for the central heating.
Close to the terrace, in the garden, flows the dragonfly spring, which the ancients used to come and drink for its virtues against ailments

Location and surroundings of object
The Gravezon valley is located just km from the hamlet of Joncelets, which is a dead-end hamlet. This means that even though there are plenty of opportunities for walking around the gite, there is very little traffic in the valley and the peace and quiet is assured. Along the paths, you can walk to La Fleyssiére, a hamlet on the side of the mountain, where the Ark community lives and where you can buy homemade cheese, butter, milk, yoghurt and also some very pretty pottery. You can also walk along beautiful paths to the medieval village of Joncels, or take part of the route to Santiago de Compostela. Another path takes you to the picturesque Orthodox village of La Dalmerie, with its octagonal temple! You can simply wander down to the bottom of the valley, where there is no pollution (cultivation, etc.), or follow the riverbed for a wild adventure!
For swimming, the Lunas outdoor centre has a lovely pool and a slide for children. If you prefer to swim in the river, I'll point you in the direction of some nice little spots, unless you choose to cool off and swim in Lake Salagou. You can also easily plan a day at the seaside, which is only an hour's drive away
By car, Le gite des libellules is located 30 minutes from the A75 motorway in the Haut regional park, with many things to visit: small typical mountain villages such as Lunas and Joncels, the Avène spa (which treats skin diseases) and its mountain lake are 20 km away. The Salagou lake, where you can practise all the sailing sports, kayaking and fishing for pike, carp and pike-perch, is a 30-minute drive away. Lodéve, 30 minutes away, has a lovely museum with exhibitions of international paintings.
Exceptional sites such as the cirque de Navacelles, the cirque de Moureze and the village of Saint Guilhem le désert are a 45-minute drive away.
Montpellier and Béziers are 1 hour's drive away. The Gite des Libellules is situated in the heart of nature.
