Corona update: We stand for fair dealings with our tenants! If "unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances" occur (e.g. Austria does not allow tenants to enter due to Corona measures) you can withdraw from the rental contract free of charge before the start of the rental period. Any down payments will be refunded in full. The same applies vice versa if a ban on accommodation is imposed on us as landlords and we are unable to carry out the bookings. In this case too, we will refund 100% of the rental price paid or the deposit paid and are not obliged to provide the service.
Detached holiday home on a hill above the district town of Feldkirchen in Carinthia. To the north are the foothills of the Gurktaler Alps, to the south the Karawanken.
Detached holiday bungalow on approx. 1000 square meters of land.
The cosy holiday home offers a large living room with Carinthian farmhouse furniture. In addition, there is a large kitchen, two master bedrooms and a small children's room with bunk beds. The bathroom and toilet are separate from each other. The 1000 sqm garden has a garden house, a barbecue area, an outdoor terrace and the possibility to play badminton, volleyball or frisbee. Sports facilities: Sailing, horseback riding, tennis, golf, fishing, water sports in the immediate vicinity. Bathing lakes like the Flatschacher See are in approx. 1 km distance, the Maltschacher See in approx. 3 km, the Ossiacher See in approx. 6 km and the Wörther See in approx. 15 km. There are many hiking possibilities either directly from the house or in the surrounding area.
No renting in the winter months.

- Corona-Update: Wir stehen für einen fairen Umgang mit unseren Mietern! Wenn „unvermeidbare und außergewöhnliche Umstände“ eintreten (z.B. Österreich lässt Mieter wegen Corona-Maßnahmen nicht einreisen) können Sie kostenlos vom Mietvertrag vor Mietbeginn zurücktreten. Etwaige Anzahlungen zahlen wir vollständig zurück. Gleiches gilt umgekehrt auch wenn gegenüber uns als Vermieter ein Beherbergungsverbot ausgesprochen wird und wir die Buchungen nicht durchführen können. Auch hier erstatten wir den bezahlten Mietpreis bzw. die geleistete Anzahlung zu 100% und sind nicht gezwungen, die Leistung zu erbringen. Generell: Der Mieter kann den Mietvertrag bis 60 Tage vor dem vereinbarten Mietbeginn kündigen. Die Anzahlung verfällt in diesem Falle, sofern nicht noch eine anderweitige Vermietung möglich ist, um die sich Familie Arnold sofort bemühen wird. Bei späterem Rücktritt ist die gesamte Miete zu zahlen, wobei wiederum der Versuch einer Vermietung unternommen wird. Im Falle höherer Gewalt, durch die eine Überlassung des Hauses an Mieter nicht möglich ist, haftet der Vermieter nur mit den Kosten der Miete.

The holiday home is easily accessible by car via the well-developed motorway and road network.
The railway connection is via Villach, a train connection continues via Feldkirchen.
There are direct flight connections from Cologne/Bonn, Hamburg and Berlin to Klagenfurt. From Klagenfurt airport there are numerous bus connections (approx. 25 km to the house)
Tenant change is always on Saturdays or by special arrangement in the off-season
Dogs are not welcome.
Renting in the HS by the week - Saturday - Saturday
No renting in the winter months November to February.

Family vacation as we imagine it!
With two small children (1 and 3) and a teenager (13), it is not always easy to find accommodation that meets all our requirements. Everything was perfect at the Arnold holiday home! The Arnold family provided us with a crib for the children. Our three-year-old loved the bunk bed (she lived in her "cave"), and our 13-year-old was glad that he could use the Wi-Fi extensively (there is no volume limit in the house).
We parents enjoyed ourselves in the garden and also went on beautiful trips with the whole family. For example, we went to the Heide-Alm, to Burg Hochosterwitz, and for swimming in Lake Ossiach.
We will definitely come back!

Great house in a super location
A very nice, quietly situated house with a large garden and a great view of the mountains! The house is top equipped. We spent a wonderful time here with our children. We enjoyed the fresh air very much. You can go on great hikes from the house, e.g. to the Flatschacher See lake. Other hiking destinations in the area were on the Turracher Höhe and the Finsterbach waterfalls on Lake Ossiach. Simply fantastic. We would love to come back again.

Very nice family holiday!
We (two adults and two teenage children) spent a lovely holiday in the Arnold family's holiday home.
We had brought our bikes with us and did some tours. We also visited the Turracher Höhe, the Nockberge and the Gerlitzen
For relaxation, we recommend the "Warmbad Villach" thermal baths, simply wonderful for swimming and saunas!
Many thanks also to Mr. Arnold, who gave us some helpful tips on how to organise our holiday.

Slechte communicatie
Wij zaten heel enthousiast met de kinderen deze accomodatie te boeken. Het ziet er super uit, dicht bij het water en ideaal voor de kinderen dus!
Samen de aanvraag met de exacte data verstuurd, berekening viel op 945 euro inclusiefeindschoonmaak.
Van de eigenaar kregen we antwoord dat het ging om een bedrag van 1320 exclusief eindschoonmaak. Achteraf krijgen we via iemand van Ferienhausmiete.de te horen dat dhr Arnold de prijs inmiddels had aangepast.
Helaas hebben wij niks meer van hem gehoord en dat valt erg tegen. Plus dat qe de kinderen moesten zeggen dat de prijs veel hoger was en dat het niet doorging.....

Beautiful holiday in late summer
We went on holiday with the grandparents and our two girls (a total of six people) and were looking for accommodation that had something to offer for everyone. We found what we were looking for in the holiday bungalow Arnold. While my wife and I went running and cycling, the grandparents took the children to the riding school. In late summer we could all go swimming in the Fladschach lake and in the evening we had a barbecue together in the beautiful garden of the holiday home. An all-round successful holiday for everyone!

Beautiful detached holiday home for a carefree holiday
Especially in the times of Corona, it was important for us to rent a nice holiday home where we could look after ourselves and where there was a large plot of land where we could relax

Ideal for autumn hikes
Before the cold season arrives, we enjoyed the golden October in Carinthia. The holiday home is ideally located for great hikes, but Klagenfurt is also within easy reach. Feldkirchen also offers everything you need to cater for yourself in the holiday home. After the hikes you can make yourself comfortable in the garden and in the evening in the house. We would also be happy to come at another time of year.

Nice holiday home!
I was there together with my husband and my two sons, the house was beautifully furnished and had the perfect size for us. The kids could play around in the big garden. You could also take great trips, which were easily accessible by car from the house.
Very satisfied, we would love to come back!

Safe in times of crisis
After many holiday destinations were uncertain this year, we decided to go on vacation in Austria. Since we always wanted to go to the southern side of the Alps in Carinthia, we chose this detached holiday home of the Arnold family, where we could take care of ourselves.
The large garden, where we often played badminton, is a paradise! We grilled almost every day and hiking through the beautiful nature of the surroundings was also part of the program.
We combined a much-needed change of scenery with the necessary safety and spent relaxing days here. We can highly recommend the accommodation!

Herrlicher Sommerurlaub mit der Familie
Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern einen tollen Sommerurlaub im Ferienhaus Arnold verbracht. Auf dem großen Grundstück konnten wir Federball spielen, wir haben viele Wanderungen unternommen und waren im Flatschacher, Ossiacher und Wörther See baden. Auch der Besuch der mittelalterlichen Burg Hochosterwitz war ein Highlight. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Nettes Ferienhaus zum Abschalten vom Alltag
Vielen Dank, Herr Arnold, für das schnelle und umkomplizierte Vermitteln des Ferienhauses. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man hat viel Platz und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Sehr nette Nachbarschaft mit Bio-Bauernhöfen und einem wunderschönen Moorsee mit Strandbad. Zum türkisfarbenen Wörthersee ist es auch nicht weit.

Empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus - Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt
Sehr familienfreundliches Ambiente, mit großem Garten, in dem sich unsere Kinder wunderbar austoben konnten, landschaftlich ein Traum mit Blick auf die Karawanken. Das Ferienhaus liegt ruhig ohne Durchgangsverkehr aber trotzdem ist alles Wichtige schnell und gut erreichbar. Gut gegessen haben wir im Urbani Wirt am Ossiacher See, der leckere Kärntener Küche bietet. Danke an die Familie Arnold, die Vermietung hat reibungslos geklappt.
