Trento

Part of a house, nice for people who love nature and want to ski. We (2 adults. + 2 big kids) entertained us well with skiing. The interior is good only the cookware is less. We have it saved us but for other people it would not be enough. No kettle, flexible knives, a wine glass and burnt handles ..... I think it is good to discuss this with the mistress. She can speak English very well and is very nice.

Nice location, close to a small center of Celledizo no Pejo. It is in the area Pejo. The height makes it "morning and" afternoon rapidly colder / wetter. Spot is a nice base for cyclists and wandelaars.Hoewel you for the Stelvio and Gavia improved slightly towards Bormio can book. The apartment is nice, between the Italian families sat quite comfortable and certainly good for the price and time of year. Supermarket around the corner so that weer.Zoek saves you a nice shelter and do not be too demanding than is the perfect fun locatie.Veel

Beautiful quiet environment. The Ledro lake has beautiful clear water. The arrival was fine. A neat explanation when retrieving the key. The people at the office where the key had to be picked up speak excellent English, which is very pleasant. The accommodation looked neat and tidy.

How do I come to Trento?

Trento or Trent?

Trento is the Italian name for the city of Trent in the autonomous region of Trentino-South Tyrol. The city is surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama. You can reach a holiday apartment or holiday home via the airports in Venice or Verona. By train, you can travel to Trento, which is located on the railway line between Verona and Bolzano. If you are coming by car, you can use the A 22 motorway via Bolzano. The SS 47, which passes through the Val Sugana towards Padua and passes Trento, is scenically interesting.

How is the weather in Trento?

Plenty of sunshine, little rain - what more could you want?

The climate in South Tyrol regularly provides particularly pleasant air and magnificent conditions for your holiday in a holiday home or apartment rented from a private provider. Many accommodations are located in a dreamy idyll. South Tyrol has significantly less rainfall than the surrounding regions due to the shielding effect of the mountain ranges. However, the differences between the seasons are enormous. In South Tyrol, the sunshine duration is between 55 and 60 percent. Tip: The climatic conditions are also suitable for guests for a holiday with a dog in Trento.

The neighboring country sends its regards

Trento is located high in the Italian north. Therefore, the cuisine is less typically Italian than in the rest of the country. The region's long association with Austria is also reflected in its culinary offerings. Austrian dumplings, called canederli, are also available in Trentino. A speciality is Carne Salada e fasoi, which is pickled beef garnished with beans or onions. Strangolapreti are small dumplings made from bread and spinach. Spaghetti can also be found here: The Bigoi co le pessate salae are made with small salted fish. Sisam, a fish served with onions, is also a popular fish specialty. Typical desserts include Molche- or carrot cakes. Local wines are Schiava, Vino Santo, Merlot, Teroldego, Cabernet Nosiola, Pino frigo or Pinot Blanco. A classic among the spirits is Trentino Grappa, which is also available infused with various types of fruit. Rent a holiday home or apartment from a private provider and explore South Tyrol's culinary delights.

Idyll of mountains and lakes

Spend a fantastic holiday in the mountains in Trento - with a suitable holiday apartment or spacious holiday home for the whole family. West of Trento is the 2,180-meter-high Bondone, a popular destination for holidaymakers. From here, you have a breathtaking view of the Brenta Group and the Paganella. In summer, there are opportunities for hiking, paragliding or mountain biking. In winter, the mountain transforms into a ski and snowboard paradise. The most famous of the Upper Italian lakes is Lake Garda. Parts of the lake are in Trentino. The Caldonazzo Lake, situated in the Valsugana, is also popular. Prehistoric pile dwellings from the Bronze Age in the Valle di Ledro are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

What do you need to experience in Trento?

When history leaves its traces

Trento is a magical place with a number of castles, palaces, or mansions worth seeing. These include the "Castle of Good Counsel", Castello del Buonconsiglio. Formerly the residence of the prince-bishops, it now houses the Museo Provinciale d'Arte and the Museo Storico with the Pinacoteca. The Thun family used the 15th century Palazzo Thun as their residence. Today, the impressive building is the town hall of Trent or Trento. Also worth seeing is the Piazza del Duomo, on the south side of which is the impressive Cathedral of San Vigilio. Next to it is the Palazzo Pretorio, which served as the bishop's residence before the castle was built. Beautiful Renaissance facades can be admired on the Rella houses. Things also get interesting at Doss Trento or Monte Verruca. This is a 300-meter-high hill on the other side of the Adige River. Here you will find evidence of settlers from the Celtic period. Traces of the First World War can also be found here. A mausoleum was built for the fallen Alpini. An impressive testimony to history. Book a holiday with a holiday home or apartment in Trento and discover culture, history and beautiful nature.
