Holiday apartments and houses in Porches

We were in Portugal for the first time and are absolutely thrilled. The landscape in the Algarve is beautiful - every beach had nice spots and great small to big waves for the kids, despite the high season.

The house was the perfect starting point for our explorations. We visited many beaches west of Porches (favourites: Praia Cavalho, Praia de Centeanes) and were also within 45 minutes of the fascinating west coast north of Sagres

The house itself offers everything you need for a comfortable summer holiday and much more. 3 bedrooms with air conditioning, mosquito screens and blackout curtains - parents and children (4 & 7) slept great.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need - the huge garden even offers fresh vegetables and delicious limes, grapes and figs from the tree.
On the beautiful terrace you can enjoy the view of the pool in the shade or look out over the countryside in the sun / evening sunset.

On the roof you can even see all the way to the sea.

The cosy living room invites you to take a siesta - we diligently helped ourselves to the bookshelf.

And then the pool - who really needs the sea when you have such a wonderfully large, cool and unchlorinated pool in the garden. We sometimes spent whole days at home splashing around in the pool.

All in all, a wonderful retreat, especially in the high season when the beaches are teeming with people.

We spent a beautiful week here! The house is located in a quiet residential area and the airport is only 40 minutes away. The house itself offers plenty of space, is very comfortable, nicely furnished, and equipped with everything, including air conditioning and heating if needed. The pictures speak for themselves, but in reality, it is even more beautiful, and the soothing atmosphere cannot be described but only experienced there.

The garden is not only large and beautiful, but also fruitful: olives, oranges, lemons, grapes, depending on the season. The pool not only invites you to swim, but the whole area is very well laid out and it's also a place for relaxation, meditation, and reading. The outdoor shower there shouldn't be underestimated either.

Beach and shopping facilities can be easily and quickly reached by car. On foot, you can also reach the beach in about 20 minutes.

This house is highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

We (2EW+2kids) really had a wonderful two weeks in the Algarve and the house offered here was a big part of it!
Absolutely recommendable location - a bit off the beaten track, but still in the middle of the pudding (if you have a rental car).
Great beaches in the immediate vicinity, a huge plot around the house, or should we call it an area?
The pool area offers absolute privacy and the property is top maintained and very clean. The interior lacks nothing (incl. air conditioning, which we have learned to appreciate, although we are usually not fans of it). Cleanliness and furnishings are also top here, you can see that the hosts attach importance to a tidy ambience
We can only absolutely recommend the property and will definitely come back again. Thumbs up!
