After a long and beautiful journey along the Spanish northern coast, we arrived at this idyllic spot. Amidst many olive trees lies a beautiful estate. An oasis of tranquility, with a large playground for the children, two ponds, a slide, sandbox, and a zip line. Surrounded by apple trees, passion fruit, and fig trees, the beautiful mansion with a fantastic swimming pool is located. We stayed with 4 adults, a grandchild, and a dog. Two weeks of delightful temperatures and then rested back home. With olive oil from Casa da Passarinha. A fantastic host José Tomás who came to see us off. A real recommendation for lovers of nature and peace.

We stayed in unit 6 of Carina Villas, the last villa in the row of villas. It is situated in a lovely spot on top of the hill overlooking green fields, with the ocean in the distance. It is a serene spot, perfect for a quiet getaway. This location was close to the three major grocery stores (4 kms) and many restaurants in the towns of Lourinha and Peniche. We stayed in February 2026 after Portugal had weathered multiple storms (several quite severe), so we did not experience using the pool, but I'm certain on a warm summer day it would be great. The storms caused a lot of damage across Portugal, Carina Villas included. The property managers, Adriana and Vicente, did everything possible to correct the problems as best they could in a timely manner. We appreciated their efforts. If you appreciate peace and quiet, enjoy having space to spread out and relax, and prepare your own meals, this is so much better than any hotel room. The Villa and it's kitchen are well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous location! The weather was about as terrible as weather can be (late January, cold, non-stop rain), but the agent, Marlena, was absolutely delightful! She made certain we had power/heat and firewood, gave us recommendations for restaurants, even called the municipality when a tree fell across our road - she made us feel so welcome and cared for! The house is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, and in the most beautiful location imaginable! We had two marvelous hikes on the eco trail right outside our door. We would love to return - especially when the sun is shining!
