For 15 years we (2 people, 2 dogs, 1 cat) have been going to Hohleborn at least once a year. If you are looking for peace and quiet, like to live right next to the forest, enjoy nature and relax, this is the place for you. The landlords take great care of their holidaymakers and are immediately on hand to help with any minor or major problems.

The welcome was great. Mrs. Sillmann (our "hostess") was at home and had shown us the way. The apartment was well clean. There was a nice view from the windows. We also got a plum and once a piece of home-made cake.While we sometimes suffered from mosquitoes at night.We often visited towns in the area. Schmalkalden and Eisenach + Wartburg we found very beautiful.Well we had very often dealing with road diversions.
