A very relaxing holiday

There were two of us in the holiday home in October 2022. We felt very comfortable and found everything as described. The house is in a wonderfully quiet location. On a cloudless night you can observe a beautiful starry sky. The stove in the fireplace works perfectly and provides a cosy atmosphere

The friendly handling of the booking went off without a hitch. The handover of the house was uncomplicated and would also have been possible in German. We can recommend the house without reservation
P.S. : The local bakery in Santec and the "Maison du Boulanger" in Roscoff, a branch of the main house with café in Lannilis, are highly recommended.

The writer Ephraim Kishon once described the "Eskimo effect" in one of his works. It roughly says that if an Eskimo has found a particularly great fishing ground, he NEVER tells anyone else about it, because then everyone will come and practically take it away from him. So when you find a great restaurant, you DON'T tell anyone because you don't want the prices to go up, the quality to go down, and the place to be booked up all the time in the first place. And that then leads to the restaurant having to close at some point because word doesn't get around and no one comes anymore. And to ensure that this does NOT happen in the case of this picturesque little fisherman's cottage with its stunning bay location, we'll go on to tell you how lovely it was there. Even at the risk that everyone will come :-) and we won't be able to get it in the future because it's always fully booked. :-( ...... ;-)) A view of the sea that is hard to beat, with a plot behind the house where you can also set up a table on the lawn and have breakfast, you have your peace and quiet, there is everything you need in terms of kitchen appliances, good WLAN, all the necessary shopping facilities can be reached by car in 5-10 minutes (for an even better baguette, just drive one town further beyond Guimaëc, i.e. to Lanmeur ;-) ), totally nice and lovable Bretons, and last but not least a really VERY nice landlady (German).

Fantastic!

We spent two relaxing weeks in this cozy and well-equipped holiday home with our dog. It has a beautiful garden with appropriate furniture and a large umbrella. Everything was very clean upon our arrival, as mentioned in previous reviews, and we can confirm the friendliness of the landlords. We received Breton cake specialties as a welcome gift and later fresh vegetables and lettuce. Communication was not a problem. On foot, you can quickly reach the sea. The coastal region of "Côte de Sables" is beautiful and can be explored in sections on the GR 34 trail. We particularly liked the beach "Les Amiets". The French are all very dog-friendly. We could imagine another stay here.
