Description
An old Breton fisherman's house, beautifully renovated in an ideal location. It has direct access to the sandy beach, without having to cross a road and a beautiful panoramic view of the sea from the garden, the terrace, the living room and the bedrooms. The house is a bit raised, the beach is a slope down (be careful with small children). Therefore, the plot of the beach is almost not visible. You can sit comfortably and undisturbed on the terrace or in the living room, enjoy the magnificent view and has the impression of being privately directly on the beach, without mixing with the other beach visitors. There is a surf school 100 meters away. The bay is ideal for surfing and stand up paddle. The house is partly furnished with modern, partly antique furniture, well-equipped modern fitted kitchen, a large kitchen. One of the double beds is 2 meters wide, consisting of 2 mint latex mattresses, each 1 meter wide.

Location and surroundings of object
Locquirec is a cozy coastal town in the Brittany district of Finistere, on the border with Cotes d'Armor. The pretty town center with a small harbor and a beach promenade invites you to take a stroll. You can sit here in one of the small restaurants and watch the sunset over a delicious meal and a glass of wine. There are several beautiful sandy beaches in the municipality, interesting excursions and Brittany cities like Morlaix and Lannion are not far away. The house is located on the outskirts, to the center is about 3 km.

picturesque and stunning
The writer Ephraim Kishon once described the "Eskimo effect" in one of his works. It roughly says that if an Eskimo has found a particularly great fishing ground, he NEVER tells anyone else about it, because then everyone will come and practically take it away from him. So when you find a great restaurant, you DON'T tell anyone because you don't want the prices to go up, the quality to go down, and the place to be booked up all the time in the first place. And that then leads to the restaurant having to close at some point because word doesn't get around and no one comes anymore. And to ensure that this does NOT happen in the case of this picturesque little fisherman's cottage with its stunning bay location, we'll go on to tell you how lovely it was there. Even at the risk that everyone will come :-) and we won't be able to get it in the future because it's always fully booked. :-( ...... ;-)) A view of the sea that is hard to beat, with a plot behind the house where you can also set up a table on the lawn and have breakfast, you have your peace and quiet, there is everything you need in terms of kitchen appliances, good WLAN, all the necessary shopping facilities can be reached by car in 5-10 minutes (for an even better baguette, just drive one town further beyond Guimaëc, i.e. to Lanmeur ;-) ), totally nice and lovable Bretons, and last but not least a really VERY nice landlady (German).

Dreamlike cottage in the very best location
We felt very, very comfortable. You live directly at the sea, and you get the change of the tide. The fireplace works wonderfully, and even on cool evenings it is very cosy, and you can look through the panoramic window from the living room to the sea
It was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. Absolutely recommendable!

An exceptionally beautiful stay
Not exactly a designer house (often so uncomfortable), but genuine and very cosy! We especially enjoyed the richly equipped kitchen, the good mattresses and - of course - the proximity and good accessibility to the sea. And the dog also had his fun in the shallow-sloping sea. And then: the weekly markets with the fresh products of the region (artichokes, cheese, fruit, vegetables, fish, ...), the witnesses of the Breton past and the unique coastal landscape!

Back at once!
Unique location, already when entering the house for the first time and opening all the shutters you are overwhelmed by the view. You can see the sea from practically every window. In addition, you can hear the sound of the sea day and night, which I now miss at home.
The difference between high and low tide is impressive, you can experience it so wonderfully.
The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen lacks nothing, the wifi worked perfectly, and the sanitary facilities are also very good. Conclusion: Always again!
Surfing courses are held in the bay... not by chance: there was often quite a strong wind blowing near our house. We underestimated this fact a bit, we don't know if we had an above average windy 2 weeks (which is supposed to be the case according to the landlady), but probably not. So just sitting outside in the sun in a T-shirt is rarely the case, but you go to Brittany with a certain amount of prior knowledge.
All in all, it was a great holiday, for our dog too, of course. All the walks along the customs path, the frolicking and swimming in and around the sea, unique!
