Simply just felt good.

In this portal, everything has actually been said that speaks for this beautiful holiday home in a wonderful environment. We, as "older semesters," greatly enjoyed the overall tranquility. This is also due to the fact that there is hardly any through traffic in Frankenroda. Whether in the house, on the terrace, or on the walking paths along the Werra, the visitor is always very close to nature and away from hustle and bustle and constant engine noise. Instead, you hear birds singing, chickens clucking, horses neighing, and dogs barking. About Hund - if our dog could speak, he would probably quote Goethe's Faust with the slightly altered words - "here I am dog, here I may be!"
A very nice experience was also that almost everything needed for cooking was available. There was genuine jubilation when we discovered salt during our first cooking session. The first meal was saved! In short - we felt so comfortable here, as if it were our own home. Frankenroda was a lovely base for our explorations in the nearby and wider surroundings. There was also plenty of informational material available for this.

Extraordinary holiday home

For us, it was the most extraordinary holiday home we have ever visited. But that is exactly the charm. From our perspective, it leaves no wishes unfulfilled for a wonderful holiday stay. We particularly noticed the attention to detail in the decoration and furnishings of the water tower. We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience.

Beautiful house in a dreamlike area

We felt very comfortable in the lovingly furnished farmhouse. Everything was very clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. It was pleasantly cool in summer due to the thick old walls. Two very beautiful lakes nearby. Great excursions possible in the Rhön and Thüringer Wald. Very nice landlords who also run the hotel across the street. We enjoyed delicious meals here several times! We will come back :-)
