In this portal, everything has actually been said that speaks for this beautiful holiday home in a wonderful environment. We, as "older semesters," greatly enjoyed the overall tranquility. This is also due to the fact that there is hardly any through traffic in Frankenroda. Whether in the house, on the terrace, or on the walking paths along the Werra, the visitor is always very close to nature and away from hustle and bustle and constant engine noise. Instead, you hear birds singing, chickens clucking, horses neighing, and dogs barking. About Hund - if our dog could speak, he would probably quote Goethe's Faust with the slightly altered words - "here I am dog, here I may be!"
A very nice experience was also that almost everything needed for cooking was available. There was genuine jubilation when we discovered salt during our first cooking session. The first meal was saved! In short - we felt so comfortable here, as if it were our own home. Frankenroda was a lovely base for our explorations in the nearby and wider surroundings. There was also plenty of informational material available for this.

We really enjoyed our time here, the house is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail and fully equipped. We felt at home because nothing was missing. One can enjoy cozy togetherness, but also cook for a large family - equipment and utensils are fully available. There are enough plates, cups, cutlery, etc. . . those little things were often missing in other houses. Additionally, everything is very lovingly and decoratively furnished - and yet it is not too much decoration.
We often used the sauna and whirlpool. We enjoyed the peace and the lonely forests very much with our dog Roxy.
We can only recommend the house and will come back again!

For us, it was the most extraordinary holiday home we have ever visited. But that is exactly the charm. From our perspective, it leaves no wishes unfulfilled for a wonderful holiday stay.
