Description
Our holiday home is located 3 km from the centre of Weimar in a quiet residential area. The large property invites you to relax. For children there is a playground, a children's pool with garden shower and lots to discover
The holiday home is an ideal starting point for visiting the Weimar Onion Fair, which takes place every 2nd or 3rd weekend in October. The surrounding area is lined with lovingly laid out gardens. There is a shopping centre and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk. Here you can get fresh bread rolls every morning. The holiday home is equipped with a 50" TV, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table and a comfortable sofa. You can reach the sleeping gallery via a spar staircase. Up to 4 persons can sleep here (2 beds 140 x 200 cm). But there is also the possibility to put up a guest bed or to sleep on the sofa. In winter, our cosy fireplace will warm you up. If required, we can provide you with mobile internet and bicycles for an extra charge. There is a very good bus connection to the centre and the main station. We look forward to your visit and will try to make it as pleasant as possible for you.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in the north of Weimar, on a single-family housing estate in the middle of lovingly landscaped gardens. It is in a quiet location, yet you can reach the centre of Weimar in just a few minutes. A shopping centre and a Rewe supermarket are both within a 5-minute walk. For your children we have a nice playground on the property. In summer, your children can splash around to their heart's content in our small children's pool. The nearby forest invites you to take relaxing walks. There are two golf courses in the area (30 min drive). Weimar is known as the cultural capital of Europe and the world-famous onion market. More than people live here. The names of the poets Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller are closely associated with Weimar. Even today, the two homes of Goethe and Schiller are the most popular destinations for visitors. But Weimar has much more to offer. Beautiful paths through the connected parks from the centre of Weimar to Kromsdorf, which can also be explored by bicycle. Even Goethe appreciated the proximity to Ettersburg Castle with its historic park. In the centre, the park on the Ilm River invites you to take a walk. Goethe's garden house, which the poet lived in shortly after his arrival in Weimar, is also located in Weimar Park. Don't miss a visit to the Belvedeere Park. Numerous concerts and events take place here in summer. The Köstritzer Spiegelzelt also invites you to cultural events every year that you should not miss. The dumpling museum in Heichelheim is also worth a visit. There you can also try this Thuringian speciality.
From Weimar, it is also worth visiting the state capital Erfurt with its many sights. The town of Apolda also has remarkable sites and should not be missed on your excursions.

In the house, all amenities are available, the location is green and quiet. Shopping within walking distance. The hosts are nice and attentive.

A beautiful place for a retreat
A bit outside of Weimar but still close enough to the city. My children and I liked it very much. The landlords were very friendly and helpful and there is nothing to complain about from my side! I really liked the flair and the furnishings, no luxury but we weren't looking for that. If we come to the area again, we will be very happy to use the lümmelland!

Beautiful place
Dear Stahl family,
thank you very much for the beautiful accommodation and the warm welcome. We felt very comfortable in the small holiday home, nothing was missing and everything was uncomplicated. The quietly situated property with the fantastic garden on two levels, the great terraces and the other amenities often invited us to linger and enjoy. The proximity to the city is ideal and practical for activities. The time passed very quickly and we can well imagine coming back.

My wife and I spent a week's holiday there and we liked it very much. The holiday home is on a large plot with lots of trees and shrubs and it is lovely to sit outside. The house itself is functionally furnished and lacks nothing. Everything is in a well-maintained and clean condition.
