Holiday apartments and houses at Lake Wörthersee

Those who are willing to take a slightly longer drive by car every day - we quickly got used to it - will be rewarded with wonderful tranquility, a fantastic view from the terrace, and above all, a great accommodation. The house is perfect and furnished with great attention to detail. We also appreciated the washing facilities in both bedrooms. For our next vacation in the area, the house will again be at the top of our selection.

We spent 2 weeks vacationing in this great house and felt very comfortable. The house is huge and offers many amenities, such as a walk-in closet, a bathroom accessible from the master bedroom, plenty of space, a large terrace (actually 2, due to the sloped location), and a large well-maintained garden. This garden is not completely fenced, so you have to keep an eye on the dog; otherwise, it will pay a visit to the landlords. There is a fence towards the street. A washing machine, a dryer (we didn't need one), a dishwasher, everything is there, however, there is no microwave.
Due to the hillside location, there are many stairs; I wouldn't recommend it for a family with very small children, as the bedrooms are on different levels. Great for teens. You can wonderfully start walking directly from the house, but it's also possible with older children, as you walk on little-used roads. There are also paths that lead directly into the woods. A car is definitely needed for shopping and exploring the area.

The three weeks in holiday home number 8 of the Hiewels family were a dream. It is a house with good amenities, where you have everything you need at home – whether for adults or children. You have your peace there and can relax and unwind. Not only can you make yourself comfortable inside, but also outside on the terrace. From there, you have a beautiful view of the landscape and can enjoy the nice weather. The house is also ideal as a starting point for excursion destinations. One can reach many beautiful places such as Lake Wörthersee, Klagenfurt, or Villach. From Carinthia, one can also easily travel to other countries – for example, for a day trip to Italy or Slovenia.
