Spacious apartment decorated with love!

Nice, spacious, and pleasantly old-fashioned apartment. You can see that the landlord has furnished and maintained it with love and care. Everything is abundantly available. Centrally located: Kleef, Kevelaer, and Xanten are less than a 30-minute drive away. Supermarket around the corner. Television available: unfortunately, no foreign channels. Not mentioned: but there is a DVD player... so bring some nice movies! Wifi works excellently. The landlord lives on the ground floor: you can go to her with all your questions. We had a wonderfully relaxing week.

Stunningly beautiful holiday home

The (upper) apartment is fantastically spacious and bright due to windows on practically all sides. The amenities are top-notch and nothing is missing. Also, the basic items (coffee, tea, spices, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc.) were all abundantly available and sufficient for the days we stayed. The layout is excellent with the living spaces well separated from the bedrooms. Annette is an outstanding host and responds immediately to a request for assistance. The area between sand excavations that have been transformed into nature reserves is beautiful with lots of water and birds. A squirrel was also spotted! Near Wesel, there is a beautiful nature area Hohe Mark where nice walks can be made.

In short, we had a fantastic Christmas with our kids and their partners. Thank you very much, and hopefully, we can come back again.

A true insider tip at the beautiful Lower Rhine

The vacation apartment Alte Sattlerei in the nice little place Marienthal is really - still - a hidden gem; we felt completely comfortable, and everything was perfect. The contact with the nice landlords - the Sondermann family - was very friendly and straightforward, and the apartment itself was absolutely convincing - so much so that we have already booked it again. You can expect a beautifully and very well-equipped apartment that is also super clean, inviting, and cozy. The size of the entire apartment and the spaciousness of the individual rooms make you feel really comfortable. What we also liked very much is the fact that during the renovation, old elements were cleverly combined with modern living comfort, creating a very special atmosphere. It is also good that a parking space is available right by the house; everything is perfect.
