How quickly a week can pass... I was able to enjoy this wonderful holiday home in the last week of July with my children and I must say, it was simply dreamy. The holiday home is somewhat secluded and especially far away from road noise and city hustle. Those seeking peace, even with children, will find it here. Larger towns like Garz are 10 minutes away by car, and Bergen, Putbus, or Stralsund are only up to 30 minutes away. I can highly recommend the beautiful, historic old town of Stralsund. However, anyone looking for a vacation with a white sandy beach will not find it here. In the immediate vicinity, though, there are the wonderful natural beaches Palmer Ort Strand, Palmer Ort, Grabow, etc., which are accessible on foot in 30 to 60 minutes.

The landlord couple, Mrs. and Mr. Waßnick, are very friendly and helpful, readily providing information and supporting with tips for a relaxing vacation. The holiday home is extremely clean and well-maintained, equipped with modern flat-screen TVs, WiFi (the internet is a bit slow), and everything else you need. There is always at least one fly screen in front of the windows, so you can sleep wonderfully with the window open at night. Although the weather wasn't always optimal, we had a wonderful time. The big highlight was, of course, the sauna in the evenings after the children were in bed because the sea was still too cold for swimming. For our now 2 children, digging on the beach was ideal, even if it is narrower than on the north coast. But, it's empty. And searching for stones and building stone towers, it's a shame that you can't post a picture here... The garden of the house is large, but you have to watch out for the pond because of the children. Ponies stand right by the fence, that was an absolute hit for the little ones. The kitchen and other rooms have just been renovated and are also clean and tidy. The heating is a bit difficult to adjust because of the electricity. And for our Anna, there is the "big sandbox" there ;-) We enjoyed everything very much, especially the peace and quiet. We will come back! Thanks to the landlord, the "wild Wildauer".

The house is in a quiet location and is also great for rainy days, as the interior is bright and friendly and also nice and big for children. In the living room, too, you can spread out on the sofas or play/paint at the large table. The two bedrooms are also cosy and large, the kitchen well equipped.
The lawn for running around, playing petanque and the terrace were also great. In addition, the sauna, board games, painting materials and the good service (prompt feedback on questions) - we felt very comfortable.
