Location and surroundings of object
Usedom is the second largest German island after Rügen. It is located in the Pomeranian Bay in the southern Baltic Sea. It is separated from the mainland by the Peenestrom and the Stettiner Haff and by the Swine from the neighboring island Wollin.
The Ferienhaus Use-Dom is located in the port town of Swinemünde (Świnoujście) on the Polish side of the island. Swinemünde - the city of the 44 islands - with over 40 tsd. Is one of the most attractive cities on the Polish east coast. Its territory covers the three inhabited islands of Usedom, Wollin and Kaseburg on the Stettiner Haff as well as the southern coast of the Baltic Sea.
The sound of the waves on the broad and fine sand beach invites you to slow stroll, walk, swim, biking, even on the water's edge or cozy carriage rides. On the longest promenade of the east coast (12 km long) the pulsating life awaits with countless restaurants, bars, boutiques and small shops as well as other attractions. Active surfers can also enjoy kite surfing, jet skiing, motor boating, diving, horseback riding, fishing and sailing.
Swinemünde offers lighthouse, museums as well as large green and park facilities, as well as fortresses (Fort Gerhard, Redoute and Engelsburg). Throughout the year there are various music, sports and cultural events.
Due to its excellent traffic situation, the spa town of Swinoujscie is a destination for many guests, eg from Berlin, Hamburg, by car, bus, train, airplane (Heringsdorf airport) from Linz, Basel, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Frankfurt / Main or Stuttgart and from Scandinavia Direct ferry connections.

Beautiful place Swinoujscie
We spent a whole two weeks here. It's great to spend time at the beach but the largest city on the island of Usedom has a lot to offer as well. In addition to shopping opportunities (Lidl, Kaufland, Biedronka...), it's fun to stroll through the streets of Swinoujscie and peek into the small as well as large shops. The truly modern shopping center has many boutiques and tempts with super special offers.

We had a very nice holiday and would love to come back.
The apartment is only a few minutes' walk to the beach and the promenade. It is very well equipped and spacious. Small quiet garden. Also suitable for families with small children. There are new bike paths in Swinoujscie and in a few minutes by bike you can also reach Ahlbeck or Heringsdorf.

Die Lage ist fantastisch
I spent a few days here with friends and was pleasantly surprised. The proximity to the Baltic Sea is unbeatable. The restaurants, bars, and other local facilities are easily accessible on foot. We enjoyed sun-sand-sea :))
