Great location with hiking trails right by the house and a very nice, animal-loving landlord who is immediately available when needed.

It's best to install a marten repellent in the car...Thankfully only my paneling was nibbled on.

Paradise for dogs!

We were able to enjoy this beautiful holiday domicile with our two Aussies for 12 days. The holiday home is very spacious and nothing was missing. But we particularly liked the location. The huge garden was a paradise for our two Aussies and the forest is only a stone's throw away. Hiking trails lead past the house and you can go for walks for hours. We will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend this holiday home.

Perfect house for nature lovers and dog owners

Perfect for nature lovers and dog owners, huge fenced garden, Mr Krüger has two dogs himself and knows what the fur noses love. The house is located at the end of a path without through traffic in the forest, absolutely quiet, it is spacious and functionally furnished, everything is functional. Parking space in front of the house on the property. Countless hiking trails which are very well signposted are in the immediate vicinity. Nearby Bad Bergzabern offers several large food markets and plenty of gastronomy. The owner is helpful and friendly. We returned home at the beginning of May 23 after a 14-day holiday and have already booked 14 days at Bethof again for 2024.

Dreamlike beautiful

We felt very comfortable with our dog and grandma. The house has everything you need. The location offers absolute relaxation and the garden is a dream for people and dogs. Ideal for dog owners

Today is our last day and we liked it very much. Despite the abnormal heat, the house is wonderfully cool and the view from the balcony is priceless. It's so quiet, every now and then you can hear a cow mooing, and at night there's a beautiful starry sky
Our two dogs love the garden. Walking paths go right past the house. You feel like you're on your own, even though the campsite with the Nature Friends House is right next door. But you don't hear any people or cars.
The house is equipped with everything you need. The mattresses in the upstairs bedroom are good. There is also Wi-Fi
All the sights are within easy reach
Mr Krüger, the landlord, is really nice and friendly and can always be reached if there is anything.
It might be informative to know that we had a visit from a marten, which vesped some cables in the engine compartment of our car. Therefore, it would be worth considering a marten deterrent for the car
Overall, we were very satisfied and can recommend the house, the landlord and the area.

House in a beautiful location

This house has a fantastic location, in the morning you are woken up by a variety of birdsong, but that is all the noise, otherwise there is heavenly peace. You can go for wonderful walks directly from the house or drive into the surrounding area. For holidaymakers with a dog, it's great to be in the forest right from the house. The house has everything you need, good bedrooms, spacious bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. Also, who needs it
good wifi and...a very nice landlord we will definitely come back.

Ideal starting point for hikes

If you need peace and quiet, this is the place for you! The flat has everything you need. However, we only had breakfast here. Otherwise we went to the numerous hikers' hostels or restaurants. You could eat well and cheaply everywhere.
The large garden is ideal for children and dogs. In summer, when the weather is good, it is certainly a dream.
The landlord was always on hand and very friendly if you had a problem
In the surrounding area you can make many beautiful walks for every fitness level.

We would have liked to go to the Bethof restaurant more often, but they didn't take care of the opening hours, so we were often faced with closed doors
We will certainly come back again. We had a great rest.

If you are looking for a beautiful place for a short or longer break, whether you want to go hiking or just want to withdraw a bit from everyday life, you are in good hands here.
The house has an excellent secluded location - I have already been there twice in winter 2021/2022, wonderfully quiet, cozy, even in the darker season, the upper balcony with its view of the huge garden and the adjacent forest invites you to linger - here you can let your soul dangle wonderfully.
The uncomplicated booking, even for only 2 nights, and the equally uncomplicated and very friendly landlord, who is also quickly on hand in case of emergencies, make you want to visit this cozy house again and again.
The furniture of the house is a bit outdated in places, but nothing is missing and it doesn't feel as sterile or uninhabited as some other vacation homes.
I will definitely come back many times with pleasure.

Sehr wohl gefühlt

Das Haus und Grundstück bietet alles was man als Urlauber mit Kind und Hunden braucht: Ein großer Garten zum Spielen und Toben! Es ist ruhig und abgelegen, so dass Kindergeschrei und Hundegebell nicht gleich stören. Dennoch kann man fussläufig zum Restaurant und Spielplatz des angrenzenden Campingplatzes gelangen. Der umliegende Wald lädt zum entspannenden Spaziergang ein. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und sorgt sich um seine Gäste. Das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt. Bei der Ausstattung, besonders in der Küche, hat nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect holiday

With two children of primary school age and our little dog, we spent our summer holiday here. Unfortunately, the two weeks passed far too quickly. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The children and of course the dog loved the large garden, we enjoyed the quiet location. You have the feeling of being in the middle of the forest, yet you are very close to civilisation. You don't hear anything from the nearby campsite. The house now has Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The landlord is always available, very helpful and on hand in 10 minutes if needed. The most beautiful hikes can be started directly from the front door, e.g. to the bathing lake, to Berwartstein Castle or to Lindelbrunn Ruin. By car, you can also explore the surrounding area, which has a lot to offer for every age group. We had two great weeks, during which we never got bored despite the mixed weather. This was our second holiday there - we can only recommend the house and have already booked our next stay.

Tolles Haus mit großem Waldgrundstück

Für Hundbesitzer unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir haben unseren Kurzurlaub übers Wochenende hier absolut genossen. 2 Erw. mit zwei Jungs (16 Jahre) + Fuxi (Rüde 15 kg) . Tolle Wander und Bademöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. W-lan mittlerweile im Haus vorhanden. Vermieter H. Krüger ist mit Herzblut bei der Sache.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ein schönes Haus, alles da, was man braucht. Wir waren dort für eine Woche mit zwei Windhunden und haben uns keinen Tag gelangweit. Nach so viel Action sind wir abends immer wieder gerne in das ruhige Haus zurück gekommen. Die schönsten Wanderungen kann man direkt ab der Haustür starten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Insgesamt kann man nur sagen Daumen hoch, dies gilt selbstverständlich auch für den Vermieter.

Ruhige Lage, spannende Umgebung

Ein schönes Haus, alles da, was man braucht. Netter Vermieter, der ständig dran ist, Haus und Garten Stück für Stück in ein Schmuckstück zu verwandeln... Wir waren dort für eine Woche mit zwei Kindern im Grundschulalter und haben uns trotz nachhaltigen Regenwetters keinen Tag gelangweilt. Burgen, Schwimmbäder, Spielplätze und Erlebnisparks, ein Indoorspielplatz, der Wildpark in Silz, Kletterwald, Waldwipfelweg, Barfußpfad und vieles mehr gibt es in der Umgebung und ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Nach so viel Action sind wir abends immer wieder gerne in das ruhige Haus zurück gekommen. Die schönsten Wanderungen kann man direkt ab der Haustür starten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, dann aber länger und mit Hund, der an dem riesigen Garten sicher auch seine Freude haben wird.

Tolle Woche

Wir waren zum Erstenmal in diesem Domizil. Es ist Erholung pur. Sehr ruhig, das Auto braucht man nicht unbedingt. Der Garten für den Hund unschlagbar. Die Austattung ist mehr als ausreichend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielleicht gibt es dann ja WLAN, die Telekom ist zumindest dran. Sehr netter und freundlicher Vermieter.

Schön und entspannend

Wir waren mit dem rommee club und 2hunden in diesem schön gelegenen haus, wir hatten alles was wir bräuchten und habe-was sonst-ausgiebig Karten gespielt. Beim Hungergefühl ganz nah im Naturfreundehaus gut und preisgünstig gegessen.der Vermieter war sehr nett und wir werden sicher wieder kommen und beim nächsten Mal ausser Karten spielen auch noch die schöne Gegend erkunden!!!

Entspannung im Wald

Eine große, gut ausgestattete und ruhige Urlaubsunterkunft. Zentral und abwechslungsreich gelegen zwischen Weinbergen, Burgen, Bergen mit imposanten Felsen, Wald und um die Ecke Frankreich. Netter Vermieter, der vieles, am in die Jahre gekommenen Inventar, neu gemacht hat und noch modernisiert.
Ein Traum der Waldblick aus dem Schlafzimmer-Schaufenster beim Einschlafen und Aufwachen.

Ruhe pur

ich kann mich meinen Vorbewertern nur anschließen, eine tolle Unterkunft und meine zwei Kater haben den Dobermann auch wahrgenommen.
Sollte die Ausstattung(Küche) noch verbessert werden dann ist dieses Haus unschlagbar was Ruhe und Lage angeht. Man kann alles vom Bethof gut erreichen.

Erholung PUR!

Das war eine wunderschöne Woche, die wir hier verbringen durften. Wandern ab der Haustür und das Auto kann stehen bleiben. Tolles eingezäuntes riesiges Grundstück, das auch unserem Dobermann super gefallen hat (überall hat es so toll gerochen und immer hat sich irgendwo was bewegt). Ruhe und Erholung pur, zumal es keinen Internet-Empfang gibt - eine wahre Wohltat.
Herr Krüger ist ein sehr netter und entgegenkommender Vermieter und wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Es war schön!!!

Wir können es definitiv weiter empfehlen. Unsere Anreise war sehr lang. Herr Krüger empfing uns sehr sehr nett. Er übergab uns das Ferienhaus, indem er uns alles ausführlich erklärte. Klasse, solch ein Empfang!!! Danke Herr Krüger.
Zur Unterkunft selbst gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Alles war sehr gepflegt, auch wenn einiges optisch schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Haus ist mitten im Wald. Sehr sehr ruhig. Das einzige was uns ein bisschen gestört hat, war, dass dadurch dass das Haus im Wald liegt, eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit vor Ort war. Handtücher trockneten nach dem Duschen wirklich schlecht, selbst unsere Sachen waren klamm. Das Haus liegt halt im Wald und da ist das so. WLAN gibt es leider keins, aber da muss die Telekom ran. D1-Netz von Telekom funktioniert definitiv nicht, hatte nur x (kein Empfang). Wer abseits von Internet Urlaub machen will, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Super Vermieter, Super Haus für echt bezahlbares Geld!!! Wir empfehlen definitiv weiter.

Erholung pur

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, ideal auch für Urlaub mit Hund. Der Garten ist sehr groß und sonnig, und ist über eine Treppe zum Untergeschoss erreichbar (dort ist auch das Bad). Das nahegelegene Naturfreundehaus und der Campingplatz sind außer Hörweite. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist etwas veraltet, der Eigentümer ist aber hier ständig am verbessern. Wunderschöne Wanderwege (auch für Anfänger geeignet) gibt es dort reichlich. Meist trifft man nur ganz wenig Leute, da sich diese sehr gut verteilen. In ca. 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß schon mitten im tiefsten Wald, wirklich super schön und sehr erholsam. Derzeit ist aber in der Region kein Netzempfang (Telekom), dies führt zwangsweise zu zusätzlicher Erholung. Hier soll sich aber wohl bald was ändern.

Hatten super tolle Wochenenden

Wir waren nun das 2. mal mit unserem Hund in dem Ferienhaus und können es einfach nur weiterempfehlen. Das Haus, der Garten (in dem man fast Gassi gehen kann) und die Lage sind ein Traum für Naturliebhaber. Man hört nichts außer der Natur und kann einfach entspannen. Wanderungen sind direkt vom Haus aus möglich und ein Naturfreunde Haus mit leckerem Essen ist direkt ums Eck. Zum selber versorgen ist das Haus auch perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts zu bemängeln und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei. Auch vom Vermieter würden wir herzlich empfangen und uns wurde alles bestens gezeigt. Preis- Leistung und Umgang mit den Gästen sind Top! Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Aufenthalt

We were here for the first time with our two dogs, we didn't miss anything in the house. The tranquillity of the large garden leading to the forest was just great, our dogs felt very comfortable. There are many things to do in the surrounding area. This is not the last time we have stayed here and we will book for a longer period of time, for holidays with pets we can only recommend this very well. House with a special flair

We spent a lovely sisters' weekend here. I visited my sister here and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere of the house. Russian furnishings, I felt like I was in the 70s. The garden is gigantic, huge and pure nature. The house has everything you need, from Jerry Cotton novels to kitchen roll. On the balcony you can enjoy the great Palatinate forest air until late at night. The friendly, charismatic landlord does everything to make the tenant feel at home. Thank you very much Mr Krüger. We will meet again.

Recreation in nature

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful holiday home for the first time with our dog and we liked it very much. The house has everything you need. The garden is huge, surrounded by forest and you can sit outside until late at night and enjoy the peace and nature. There are many beautiful hiking possibilities, sandstone rocks, castles and nice little villages that want to be explored. The Naturfreundehaus Bethof is nearby, the cuisine there is really recommendable.
My sister Edith K. visited us at the weekend and I fully agree with her assessment.
Mr Krüger is a very nice and helpful landlord who still has many plans for the house and property.

Pure relaxation

This is exactly what we needed. Absolute peace and quiet in the one week of holiday, so that we thought we had been there for a while. In the morning, the deer greeted us in the garden and we could enjoy the sun on the deckchairs.
The house is equipped with everything you need. The surrounding forest offers great walking opportunities for people and dogs. We are curious to see how the garden will change, as Mr. Krüger has worked diligently on it. See you soon!!!!!!!

beautiful and quiet deep in the Palatinate Forest

we had a very nice stay in this very quiet house in the middle of the forest on a great property. A huge garden and a beautiful view of the forest. We have rarely woken up so quiet and relaxed in the morning in a holiday home. You can start hiking and exploring the Palatinate Forest right from the front door.

The landlord is super friendly, uncomplicated, flexible and extremely helpful. We would recommend this apartment without reservation.

Herrliches langes WE

Sehr zu empfehlender Vermieter. Das Haus ist recht ordentlich ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts.
Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man seine Ruhe haben möchte. Das Internet ist, durch die Lage mitten im Wald, lediglich zum Telefonieren ausreichend. Zumindest mit D2...
Alles in allem, vor allem für diesen Preis völlig ausreichend.
An der ein oder anderen Stelle ist, laut Aussage des Vermieters, eine Renovierung geplant im kommenden Winter.

Wir haben mit unseren Hunden eine wunderschöne Woche im Ferienhaus verbracht. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht,ist hier gut aufgehoben.

TOP für Urlaub mit Hund

Wir (4 Freundinnen, 4 Hunde) haben das Ferienhaus für 2 Nächte belegt. Im Haus war soweit alles in Ordnung, alles vorhanden was man so braucht. Gute Matratzen in den Betten. Toller Blick ins Grüne und absolute Ruhe. Sehr schönes Gelände um den Hunden Freilauf zu gewähren oder mit diesen zu spielen. Das Essen im Naturfreundehaus Bethof war prima. In der nächsten Umgebung schöne Wege zum Wandern. Für uns waren es ein schönes Wochenende mit unseren Hunden und es hat alles gepasst, vor allem Preis/Leistung.

Naturnaher Urlaub

sehr schöne naturnahe Lage. Großes dazugehöriges Gelände, wunderbar durch große Panoramafenster im Haus einsehbar. Sehr zu empfehlen für Urlaub mit Haustieren ( Hund ).
Viele Ausflugsziele im Nahbereich.
Wir werden wieder kommen.

Ruhig

Netter Vermieter,schlechter Handyempfang, Fliegengitter an den Fenstern nicht vorhanden,
Von der Lage her sehr weit im Wald gelegen,von der Hauptverkehrsstraße weit entfernt,
sehr Ruhig, Gastronomie vor Ort empfehlenswert.Eine auf dem Grundstück befindliche Blockhütte ist ganzjährig vermietet."Ohne Auto" nicht zu empfehlen.Hohe Zeckedichte.
Gäste WC war bei Ankunft defekt. WC/Bad sowie ein Schlafzimmer im Keller durch eine steile Treppe erreichbar.Garten Naturbelassen.Autoabstellplatz in Hanglage

Hundeparadies

Urlaub zum Entspannen, sehr ruhige Lage. Wir, 2 Personen, ein Hund, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das große Grundstück ist hervorragend. Sehr gute Wanderwege. Sehr netter Vermieter. Emma und ich kommen wieder.
