We can only agree with the consistently positive reviews. This holiday home is furnished with a lot of attention to detail and the theme "fish" can be found again and again. We also really liked that despite the location in the bungalow park, you hardly noticed anything from the neighbors, thanks to the dense planting. A large shelter with a huge bicycle lock for the bikes was also available. Everything you don't need (e.g., ... The suitcases and our own handcart) found space in the annexe without any problems.
The beach is also beautiful, white sandy and not too crowded despite the holidays. That means if you walk a bit further from the entrances, you can find quieter spots. There is plenty of parking space for bicycles at the beach, which you can reach in about 7 minutes by the way. As it gradually gets deeper, it is very suitable for children and can always be used because the water only recedes up to 10m. Many excursion tips can be found in the holiday home in the numerous brochures. During our visit to Amsterdam and Rotterdam, we used P+R. For those traveling with children, we recommend a crab fishing tour from Den Oever. Our children were absolutely thrilled. We also noticed that in museums, there was generally a focus on capturing children's interest (many interactive stations...). Particularly noteworthy is the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen. A whole day should be scheduled for this.
The supermarket in the village is slightly more expensive but has everything one needs. As a family, we opted for a more affordable alternative with a bit more variety. Bulbs can also be purchased quite inexpensively from local retailers (e.g. in Julianadorp).


The vacation was simply DREAMY for us. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful days in North Holland

We were totally impressed as soon as we entered. A holiday home was set up here with a lot of taste and practical sense. There are many tasteful details that give the house a very special charm. But everything needed for daily use and household is also available. We had beautiful weather and could have breakfast and dinner every day on the covered terrace. A dream. During the day, the nearby beach (about 5 minutes by car) invites you to swim and relax. I integrated this (by bike) and the beach bar also leaves nothing to be desired. You can take great bike tours or explore the area by car with great shops (mountains). We were in Holland for the first time, but certainly not for the last time. We can highly recommend the Strandfisch. We will be back.

Very well thought out layout, small bedrooms (but you don't need more) and therefore the rest of the renovated house is quite generous. We felt very comfortable. The house is lovingly and tastefully decorated. The kitchen offers a kettle, drip coffee maker/Senseo, toaster, dishwasher, basically everything you need and has a dishwasher. In the annex, there is also a washing machine, very practical, and there is also space to store things like bicycles. our golf stuff. In the garden shed, there are garden furniture and a covered shelter for bicycles. For potential rainy days, there is a nice selection of games and plenty of books that can also be enjoyed on the covered terrace. The heat lamp above the table is great. And if it's hot, you have a shady spot under the pergola. Everything has been thought of. Modern TV and functioning WLAN are available. Particularly noteworthy is the great bathroom with underfloor heating! It is simply super beautiful and modern and has a floor-level shower. The house is located in a well-kept, quiet bungalow park. In the garden shed, there is a trolley that can be used to bring luggage from the parking lot, very practical. Within walking distance is a Spar market (about 5 minutes). The beach and sea are about 10 to 15 minutes away on foot or by bike. You can go on plenty of excursions, for example, By train from Alkmaar to Amsterdam. A tip also for golfers: in the immediate vicinity, there are about 5 golf courses, very nice to play, friendly staff, and reasonably priced! The Strandfisch Bungalow is recommended for young and old alike.

Great house, beautiful vacation.

We stayed at the house with two children and two adults. The vacation rental is very high quality and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is equipped for cooking comfortably for four people. The living/dining area is spacious and flooded with sunlight. The garden behind the house is large for a holiday home and faces south. A terrace invites you to stay. The apartment and garden are well-maintained.
The beach is within walking distance. You will find a wide sandy beach that stretches for several kilometers in both directions. We were able to do many great activities with our children in the nearby area. In Den Helder, there is an old fortress with North Sea aquariums where you can pet stingrays and dogfish. In Schoorl, there are parent-child tandems available, allowing for longer bike rides through the dune landscape and pine forests. Amsterdam was easy to reach from Alkmaar by train (30 minutes).
Conclusion:
Our children, like us, were completely thrilled. We will definitely go on vacation there again!

Style, charm, and location.

I was there for a long weekend. Very nice contact, easy key handover. Parking just a few meters from the house. Inside very stylish and modern, but still comfortable, functional, and cozy. Very clean and well-maintained with a large garden. Everything for entertainment available. Easy way to the beach. Definitely visit the beach restaurant. Good food and very nice staff for Holland.

Like home, only more beautiful.

We were three in the Beach Fish and will definitely come back. The tastefully furnished, modernized little house is fully equipped, nothing is missing, even a washing machine and dishwasher are available. Part of the terrace is covered. To get to the beach, you have to walk a bit, but you walk through a remarkable dune landscape with great rare cattle until you reach a huge beach. On the few less sunny days, we took trips to the beautiful towns of Alkmaar and Bergen, also worth seeing. All in all, a great vacation in a really nice bungalow with a garden and beautiful surroundings.

Quietly located, beautiful holiday home in a well-kept complex. Here you can relax and unwind. The equipment is high-quality, the kitchen lacks nothing. Very comfortable beds, the wardrobes are more suitable for minimal clothing. The beach, approximately 1.5 km away, cannot be accessed by car. Therefore, biking or walking is necessary.

Pure feel-good vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in this holiday home. We felt very comfortable. The house is very lovingly and tastefully furnished and equipped with everything one could wish for. The kitchen offers everything you need and has a dishwasher. In the annex, there is also a washing machine, very practical. And in the garden shed, there are garden furniture and a covered shelter for bicycles. For possible rainy days, there are games and books provided that can be played or read on the covered terrace. We also lit the fireplace once and were able to watch TV in a cozy atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy is the wonderful bathroom. It is simply beautiful and modern, with a walk-in shower. This was great for my parents (77 and 79). The house is located in a well-kept bungalow park. Within walking distance is a Spar market (about 5 minutes). The beach and sea are a 10 to 15-minute walk or bike ride away. The Beach Fish Bungalow is recommended for young and old alike.

Great for vacation with children!

We stayed in the house with two adults and a baby (9 months). The equipment really leaves nothing to be desired. The stylish kitchen has everything you need for preparing everyday breakfast and dinner. There's also a kettle, egg cooker, etc. The furnishings of the rooms are modern and give a nice holiday feeling, and the bathroom is also new and modern. Especially pleasant is the underfloor heating here! The bedrooms are not very large, but absolutely sufficient. Each has a bed with a width of 1.60m.
Very convenient with a small child is the option to quickly wash a few things.
The garden is completely fenced in, so children can play here superbly.
Unfortunately, we had a bit of bad luck with the weather, but thanks to the covered area, you could still sit on the terrace even in the rain. And for really cold days, there is a beautiful stove in the house! Due to the bad weather, we were only able to go to the beach once, but the surrounding cities like Alkmaar are definitely worth a visit. All in all, we had a great vacation and will definitely come back!
