Description
The lovingly furnished thatched house (opened in May 2017) is available all year round for rest and relaxation. We have placed great emphasis on a bright and friendly interior as well as particularly high-quality furnishings.
The house, furnished in country house style, offers approx. 135 m² of living space on a plot of approx. 550 m² in a quiet location. It is only 450 m away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Rügen (11 km) - the Schaabe
- and leaves nothing to be desired for a relaxing holiday. It is only about 800 m to the Bodden.
Ground floor: spacious living-dining area with fireplace, cosy couch landscape, TV/satellite (large flatscreen + smart TV possible), music system/CD player, DVD player, Blu-ray player, open, fully equipped, high-quality country kitchen with granite worktop and cooking island, induction hob, oven, refrigerator with large freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave,
Filter coffee and nepresso machine, kettle, toaster and various electrical appliances, large sauna with rain shower at ground level, separate WC, utility room with washing machine and dryer
Upper floor: 1st, 2nd and 3rd bedroom each with a double bed (180×200) and wardrobe, 4th bedroom with 2 single beds (90×200) and wardrobe, 2 bedrooms are equipped with a TV (flatscreen), large bathroom with free-standing bathtub and rain shower, a hairdryer is available

Outside: the terraces of the house are south and west facing, comfortable garden furniture (8 garden chairs) and large garden table, parasol as well as mobile charcoal grill available, 2 parking spaces directly at the house, ironing bicycle stand, garden shed for storing bicycles, fenced plot. The Heimathafen holiday home is child-friendly. A travel cot, high chair, Tripp-Trapp, step stool in the bathroom, children's cutlery, children's chair for outside, games and children's books are available for our little guests. There are board games and books for young and old. Internet access (W-LAN) is also available. Washing machine and dryer (no charge) can be found in the utility room.
All rooms have tiled floors and underfloor heating. The Heimathafen holiday home is a non-smoking house. Sauna / dryer and washing machine are included in the costs. A clothes horse is available. The windows are equipped with insect screens and shutters/blinds.
Shopping facilities, bakery and restaurant are in the immediate vicinity, optimal cycling and hiking opportunities, pets by arrangement (fee 5 euros per night/ per pet)

Glowe was considered a place of traditional fishing for centuries and is now a state-recognised resort. Here the steep coast of the Jasmund peninsula and the fine sandy beach of the Schaabe, an extensive spit on the Tromper Wiek, meet. Quietly situated on the Königshörn cliff-directly between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden waters. The Jasmundtherme with swimming pool, sauna etc. is 8 km away. Ideal location for numerous excursions, such as Cape Arkona, Hiddensee Island, chalk cliffs, Jasmund National Park, the fishing port of Sassnitz, the ferry port of Mukran, the seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin, the climbing forest and toboggan run in Bergen, Gingst amusement park, Störtebeker open-air festival in Ralswiek, Spyker Castle and Dinoland, boat trips, sightseeing flights, ferry trip to Scandinavia, German maritime museum Ozeanum Stralsund, Near the holiday home there is a supermarket, bakery, ice cream parlour and many restaurants.
