Holiday Time Beachcombing is a detached six-person holiday home which is situated in the dunes between Nes and Buren. The bungalow is located about 300 meters from the beach and the village Nes is about 1500 meters from the bungalow.
The house has a living room (about 55m²) with a separate kitchen. From the living room through two doors opening onto the terrace located on the south side of the house. In addition to a terrace on the south side of the house there is also one on the west side for a lovely sunset.
In the house are 3 bedrooms. Two on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two bedrooms have two single beds each. Also there is a cot available in the accommodation.
Through the hall on the ground floor you reach the shower and separate toilet. The living room includes a sofa, four loose comfortable armchairs, flat screen, DVD player, stereo and a fireplace. Furthermore, the house is fully equipped with central heating. From the lounge there is already a view of the dunes and the beautiful nature has to offer the island.
Through the hall the living room you enter the large kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, kettle, coffee etc. and also an additional dining table for four people. On the ground floor is also a storage room that is accessible from the kitchen, but also functions as a back door. In this shed you will find a washing machine, dryer and extra freezer, but is also space for example to place your bikes.

Location and surroundings of object
Neighbors is the youngest of the four villages on Ameland and has a small 700 inhabitants. Neighbors is located on the island and lies of all the villages the most easterly. Further east lie the famous Kooiduinen and it Oerd. Oerd It is a beautiful area and has the highest dune of the island called Oerblinkert. At the foot of the dune is a hide and on top of the dune you will find an information and orientation table. Still further east is the nature Hon. This is a beach landscape in which many different bird species and a variety of vegetation. Neighbors was originally the village of juttende farmers. The existence of these farmers will be displayed in the Agricultural and Beachcombing Museum Swartwoude. The farmers did have near the farmhouse, also fishing, hunting and beachcombing. The museum shows this in the authentic style farmhouse with vivid representation of the farmers living around 1900. In addition, several beach finds are exhibited.
Buren has some interesting sights like the Kooiplaats and the image of the Rixt Oerd. This Ameland jutster lived from shipwrecks and left ships by firing beaches on the coast of Ameland. Cage Place the Nassau decoy is also worth a visit. Until 1930 the duck and its Kooiker House was owned by the family Oranje Nassau. Buren has many shops, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. If one west from Buren, one reaches a kilometer beyond the village of Nes, the largest village on the island.
