If you are planning your holiday in beautiful Upper Lusatia and are looking for a holiday flat, we would be delighted to welcome you as our guests.
The holiday flat with separate entrance and terrace on the ground floor consists of a living room, kitchen, shower/WC, two bedrooms with two beds each and a cot.
A further extra bed is possible.
On nice summer days you can use the swimming pool, the outdoor fireplace or the barbecue. There is also a cosy sitting area by the pool at your disposal.
For our little guests there are various play possibilities. Swinging, climbing and playing in the sand - this is how the children feel comfortable too.
A parking space for cars is available.
All additional costs (electricity/heating/water) and bed linen are included in the rental price.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday flat is located in Saxony, not far from the state capital Dresden and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains (Saxon Switzerland).
Traditional towns such as Bautzen, Zittau or Görlitz are part of Upper Lusatia - there is much to see and do.
Your accommodation is in the village of Ringenhain, nestled in the valley between the Weifaer Hoehe and the Valtenberg, the highest mountain in Upper Lusatia
Ringenhain is located in the scenic Upper Lusatian Mountains and has about 1000 inhabitants
The community is surrounded by extensive woodlands and mountains, meadows and fields. From the surrounding mountains (Mannberg 519 m, Hutberg 502 m, Steinberg 500 m) and especially from the neighbouring Valtenberg (589 m) there are magnificent views of the Upper Lusatian landscape and Bohemia.
In the Upper Lusatian Mountains, one of the largest granite massifs in Central Europe, well-marked paths invite you to go hiking, cycling and skiing. On the numerous summits you will find vantage points and mountain inns from which you can enjoy magnificent views as far as the Giant Mountains.
The historic Umgebindehäuser (Slavic log houses with half-timbered tops) in the typical street villages give you a sense of a bygone era.
Special feature:
Our "Hohwald" is a large forest area where the Valtenberg is also located
Let yourself be transported there into the past of gold panning and miners
Even today you can still see the various mining experiments
and the "Valentin Erbstollen" on the Valtenberg (at an altitude of approx. 515m)

Hikes through the Hohwald area, including into a gallery, are also offered here
It is not uncommon to find a rock crystal.
An experience for young and old alike is, of course, to try panning for gold yourself!
The necessary "harness" is provided by the responsible guides.
Isn't it fascinating to perhaps be a gold panner yourself for once? This is certainly a unique experience for children too. You don't have to travel to America, you can also try your luck in Upper Lusatia!

relaxing holiday
We felt very comfortable here and the flat is equipped with everything you need. The landlords are very nice and open-minded. We were lucky with the weather and could use the pool extensively. You can find peace and relaxation here.

Wonderful accommodation, warm landlords!
We can definitely recommend this holiday flat. Location, facilities and additional offers (e.g. pool) for the guest are super! The price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent. However, the friendliness of the landlords deserves special mention. They are sociable, helpful and always want to make sure the guest has a good time. We have not been there the last time!
