Description
Arriving and feeling good in an individual ambience means combining traditional construction with lots of wood and the advantages of modern living.
In our holiday home, you enter the various rooms from a large hallway. A large log parlour forms the dining and living area with fitted kitchen, dining table with 6 chairs, couch corner and TV. Since the couch can be pulled out, 2 people can also sleep here.
But of course there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a children's travel bed as well as a large wardrobe. Here, too, a lot of wood characterises the room.
A smaller log room can be the realm of your children. With a bed and again a pull-out couch and TV. Of course, adults can also sleep here. The house is suitable for a maximum of 5-6 people. But you can also spend a good holiday here with just the two of you.
There is also a bathroom with tub and shower, which was built into the former goat barn years ago and has now been renovated again.
The toilet is separate in the so-called back house. There is also a small laundry room with washing machine and dryer as well as a storage room for prams, bicycles, skis or the like.
When the weather is nice, you can use the entire garden to relax, play, barbecue..

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday flat is located in Ringenhain, a district of Steinigtwolmsdorf in the Upper Lusatian Mountains. The location is central in the village on a side street and directly on the small river Wesenitz.
There are a variety of hiking possibilities in the immediate vicinity. You can start right at the house and explore the Valtenberg area, the Upper Lusatian High Trail or the neighbouring communities. There are many interesting things to discover there
By car, Saxon Switzerland with its countless wonderful hiking trails can be reached in half an hour. In the other directions, the Lusatian Pond and Lake Land and the Zittau Mountains invite hikers with signposted theme trails.
In winter, weather permitting, there is also the possibility of cross-country skiing directly on site and in the neighbouring communities. A network of cross-country ski trails is available for this purpose. Alpine skiing is also possible; a prepared slope with a lift can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
In good weather, the Steinigtwolmsdorf water world with its large stainless steel pool, slide, children's area and extensive sunbathing lawns can be reached on foot in half an hour (5 minutes by car). The Lusatian Lakeland also promises relaxation by the water.
The Valtenberg area offers interesting things to discover on nature trails and, most recently, something very special in the form of monster roller-skating. Let us surprise you.
After a 15-minute drive, you can reach the dinosaur park and the Kleinwelka maze. The dinosaur park is particularly beautiful. You can play there for several hours and learn many interesting things.
There are several climbing parks in the area. In Bautzen, this is located at the reservoir, which also invites you to relax. There is also a climbing park in Saxon Switzerland. This also offers children a lot of fun climbing in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains or during a visit to Königstein Fortress. Another climbing park is in the Zittau Mountains. The excursion can be combined with a visit to the summer toboggan run or the butterfly house.
For those interested in culture, our state capital Dresden offers a wide range of possibilities. Famous museums and monuments are inviting even in bad weather. The cultural city of Görlitz, right on the Polish border, is also worth a visit.
Our neighbouring countries, the Czech Republic and Poland, are not far away and also worth a trip.

Our Umgebinde house is located directly on the Umgebinde cycle path. This leads through the beautiful Upper Lusatian Umgebinde villages, where you can learn a lot about this special type of construction. You can also cycle comfortably to the Czech Republic, just a few kilometres away, and enjoy the Bohemian cuisine. Other cycle paths along the Spree or through the lakeland make sure you don't get bored. A bicycle rental - also for electric bikes - is located in the neighbouring village.

Class holiday home.
We felt very comfortable, the house is very well equipped with everything you need. The rooms are lovingly decorated and spotlessly clean. Our two-year-old granddaughter was very happy about the toys and the beautiful crib. We enjoyed using the comfortable seating outside and even grilled once. A footbath in the adjacent Wesenitz provided us with pleasant cooling. The landlords are very nice, they allowed us to stay longer on the day of departure than agreed. Highly recommended!

I spent 3 weeks in your beautifully furnished holiday home at the end of September.
The time has flown by as the house is also really well thought out, furnished and equipped down to the smallest detail. Everything is there that one needs to feel really comfortable!!!

Great holiday home

Wonderful holiday in a great house in a great environment
We can recommend the flat without reservation. A great house and very nice landlord
We were able to go on long hikes in the beautiful surroundings
There were often a few places to stop for a bite to eat
And afterwards it was wonderful to dip our feet into the Wesenitz river that runs past the house.
We were also allowed to help ourselves to the delicious strawberries from the garden
They went very well with the end of the day on the terrace.
We would love to come back again!

Easter holiday

Cosy and uncomplicated
We felt at home here from the very first moment. Everything was thought of with attention to detail - from kindling for the fireplace to egg cups, everything was there. The communication with the landlords was very friendly and uncomplicated. Our dog was also welcome - a complete fence around the property would have been the icing on the cake. The location on the Wesenitz is picturesque, you only notice the nearby main road during the day in the garden. The village is beautiful, in 10 minutes you can reach hiking trails and meadows with a beautiful view of the village. There is little infrastructure in Ringenhain, but a very good kebab snack bar within a few minutes walk. We would recommend the accommodation, the price-performance ratio was excellent.

Familienwinterurlaub
Zusammen mit drei Kindern machten wir es uns vor dem kuscheligen Kamin gemütlich. Die Ferienwohnung bot uns mit einer modernen und komfortablen Ausstattung alles, was wir für unseren Familienurlaub brauchten: viel Platz, Spielsachen, super Küche, Feuerkorb und vieles mehr. Der direkte Zugang zur Wesenitz nutzten die Kinder sehr gerne für diverse Wasserspiele.
Ringenhain dient wunderbar als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Ausflüge zu touristischen Zielen der Oberlausitz. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Schöne Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen
Wir haben als Paar hier in dem Umgebindehaus eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Küche ist reichhaltig ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Das Schlafzimmer ist zur ruhigen Straße gelegen und die Betten sind bequem. Der Außenbereich mit den Sitzplätzen wunderbar. In der Oberlausitz gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele, die wir ausgiebig erkundet haben. Immer wieder eine Reise wert. Wir bedanken uns bei den netten Vermietern und wünschen alles Gute. Sehr schön
Wir waren total begeistert. Ein sehr schönes, sauberes uns mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Haus. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett ,da wir Hunde dabei hatten hat er sogar innerhalb kurzer Zeit einen extra Zaun gebaut. Ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit einer fantastischen Umgebung.Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Corona-Krise - fairer Vermieter
Wir hatten dieses wunderschöne Haus eigentlich in der Zeit vom 21.05.-25.05.2020 gebucht. Für diese Buchung hatten wir bereits eine Anzahlung geleistet.
Die Vermieter, Familie Gocht schrieben uns von sich aus an und boten an, die Buchung kostenfrei zu stornieren.
Wir sind überwältigt, wie fair hier die Gäste betreut werden.
Sicherlich werden wir erneut buchen, sobald dies wieder möglich ist.

Stornierung
Hatten das Häuschen gebucht vom 02.08.20-09.08.20 aber leider machte uns die Corona Pandemie einen Strich durch die Rechnung.Aber die Stornierung ging reibungslos über die Bühne .Sehr nette Vermieter.Werden auf jedenfalls es noch Mal versuchen zu Buchen nächstes Jahr.
Hoffendlich dann ohne Zwischenfall.

Tolle Abwicklung während der Coronakrise
Wir hatten unseren Urlaub in diesem schönen Häuschen geplant. Jedoch konnten wir aufgrund der Coronakrise den geplanten Urlaub nicht machen und mussten das Haus stornieren.
Die Rückerstattung erfolgte prompt und ohne Probleme. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Kontakt mit der Besitzerin.
Wir hoffen den geplanten Urlaub in einigen Monaten durchführen zu können.

Rundum schön
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche. Das Haus ist mit viel liebe fürs detail hergirichtet worden.
Wir waren zu sechst, auch das ging wirklich gut, mein Sohn (18) hat auf dem Schlafsofa im Wohnraum übernachtet und sich auch dort sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Betten sind traumhaft.
Die gesamte Austtatung ist Top.
Das Fermieterpaar ist total nett und vor allem Hilfsbereit, auch über die Vermietung hinaus
Am schönsten fanden wir das die Wesemitz nur 3 meter hinter dem Haus floss.
Der Garten ist toll hergerichtet mit einer sehr schönen Sitzecke.
Bielen lieben Dank wor kommen herne wieder.
