Rahnsdorf as a district of Köpenick, the greenest and most water-rich district of Berlin, still has a listed historic village centre where the last fisherman from the Müggelsee maintains his business (the freshly smoked fish are simply delicious!). It is surrounded by Berlin's urban forest and adjacent to several lakes and waterways, such as the Großer Müggelsee as well as the man-made Lagunensiedlung. Several canoe, surf, boat, raft and barbecue boat rentals offer a wide range of possibilities for an active holiday. And if the weather should be bad, there are still many interesting things to experience. Of course, you can simply enjoy both the scenic and cultural attractions ....
Shopping facilities for a relaxing day on holiday are located in the renovated village centre about 1 km from the flat (supermarkets, bakers, etc.).
