Location and surroundings of object
The property is located at the beginning of a side valley in the municipality of Gutach.
Gutach lies directly on the Black Forest railway.
The Gutach River flows through the village and begins at the Kesselberg near Triberg, the starting point of the Triberg Waterfalls.
The community of about 2200 inhabitants is known for the Gutach traditional costume with the red Bollen hat.
There is also the Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum with a railway stop in the nine-km-long village. Not far away is a 1100 m long summer toboggan run.
On the way to the village centre, you pass the barefoot park. There is also an adventure golf course in the direction of Hornberg.

Super
Our landlord is super nice. Apartment top. Everything you need is available. Lives in the house and is always approachable for questions. Also gives tips on where to go. Very quiet but still central. Baker, butcher, Italian restaurant around the corner. Greek restaurant also about 5 minutes by car (about 20 minutes on foot). There is also a mini-golf course. We spent 2 days at Europa Park (you need that if you want to see everything). Just under an hour away from the apartment. Also ideal for families.
The toboggan run is 5 minutes away by car. It's a lot of fun.
About 10 minutes to Haslach where there are grocery discounters. And a historic town. Strasbourg is also about an hour by car. We recommend using the P+R at the train station in Kehl and taking the tram over. A day ticket for 3 people costs €10.40 (for 24 hours). You can get it at the kiosk. (In France, you need both an environmental and a toll vignette, so the tram is cheaper and easier.) So we would like to come back again.

Just feel good!
The holiday apartment was excellently equipped, just as one would furnish their own home. The beds are comfortable with firm mattresses. There was also an extra blanket in the bed box for emergencies. Hand and dish towels were sufficiently available. Everything in the kitchen was top-notch. The friendly landlord had even stocked the fridge with basic food supplies for us, so we didn't even have to go shopping right away. There were also seat cushions for the chairs on the balcony. WLAN worked very well.
The apartment, as well as the entire house, was unbeatable in terms of cleanliness.
The very nice landlord was always reachable for us.
Especially pleasant were the many pieces of information, which were very clearly organized and waiting for us in the living room. Everything was there, from bike tours to hikes with a dog, general hiking trails, and other helpful tips. A current TV magazine was also available, if one needs it at all in the wonderful landscape.
The baker and the butcher are easily reachable on foot, as is the restaurant.
We drove to Hornberg and did some shopping at Edeka there.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide information about public transport, as we are drivers.
The house is located on a fairly quiet street, yet very central. The price-performance ratio is absolutely correct. With a large dog or an animal that is not used to stairs, I would not vacation there, as the apartment is on the 2nd floor.
We can only recommend this holiday accommodation, even if we perhaps should not do so, so that we can come back anytime.

Super apartment, everything is great!
A super beautiful apartment with a wonderful view. The host was very friendly and equipped the apartment with everything one could wish for. Even jam, butter, sausage, drinks, and ice cream were already in the fridge/freezer. The area is wonderful and definitely worth a holiday. Thank you! Best regards, the Brauer family.

Top vacation, top vacation rental, top landlord
We (two of us with a dog) had a great vacation in an apartment with the Neumann family. We booked over the phone and it was very pleasant. The check-in was also pleasant, we were warmly welcomed and our dog immediately felt comfortable. Everything we needed was there, and our dog even got treats a few times a day. The apartment was excellent, with a great balcony and awning for all-day sun, a pool for the dog, and even a grill. The bathroom had a washing machine and dryer. The landlords were very friendly and helpful and were there for any questions or assistance. We enjoyed speaking with them and appreciated the tips for things to do that they provided in a folder. We would love to come back and highly recommend this apartment. Keep up the great work, Neumann family.

Unieke plek
My wife, my son, and I stayed with the Neumann family for 1 week. This was way too short! What a warm welcome from Mr. and Mrs. Neumann, they are loving and kind. There were some goodies in the fridge already. The apartment is excellent, with everything you need, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc. Also, basic necessities. Beautiful large bedrooms, nice shower. The surroundings are stunning. Definitely walk the hiking trail to Moserstein, what a view. There is a lot of information in the apartment about everything, the Konus card is also very nice. Beautiful to go to Freiburg for free by train. We will definitely come back to these lovely people.
