Description

The holiday home is beautifully situated on the west side of the island of Usedom. Fantastic hiking and cycling paths offer many opportunities for recreation and if you are lucky, a sea eagle will hover over the expanse.

Our detached holiday home, designed as a "roof-only house", has two bedrooms on the upper floor. One bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom with two single beds, which can also be used as a double bed. On the ground floor you will find the daylight bathroom, the fully equipped kitchen with dining area and the living room with reading area, fireplace, TV, Blu-Ray player, DVD collection and a Nintendo Wii games console. From the living room you can access the upper floor and the sun terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating.

The holiday home is located in the middle of a nature reserve and is very close to the Achterwasser. There is a bathing area with playground only about 400m away - bathing fun for the whole family. Boats can also be rented directly next to the bathing area for fishing or water tours. Due to the extensive nature reserve and the protected location, there is a lot of space and there are no limits to the (children's) urge to discover. For variety, there are countless offers on the entire island - among others, the adventure farm "Karls Erdbeerhof" (Karl's Strawberry Farm), which is only 30 km away.

Lieper Winkel invites you to go for long walks, bike tours, sailing, golfing and to feast in the nearby restaurants and pubs. The island's sunsets are most beautiful here on the Peene River. The seaside resorts and wide sandy beaches are within easy reach.

Location and surroundings of object

Quilitz is a small, old fishing village. A holiday settlement with a special charm and natural character was built here in earlier times. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday home, you will find an organic shop within walking distance that offers fresh bread rolls, bread and other specialities every day - it's worth a visit

The gastronomy in the harbour and in the village of Rankwitz (5 minutes walk) is known for its fish. A small country market shop with bicycle rental provides the necessary groceries. Bulk shopping can be done in Usedom. Discount markets are open on the island until o'clock on weekdays and also on Sundays during the season.

In the months of July and August, arrival and departure are always only possible on Saturdays.

The rental price includes all additional costs for water, heating, electricity, bed linen and parking space.

Tourist tax is not included in the rental price.

Cancellation terms:

You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

To make arrival and departure as flexible as possible, we have equipped our holiday home with a key safe. This means that you can check in at any time from 16:00 on the day of arrival and check out by 10:00 on the day of departure.

Relaxing holiday in the midst of beautiful nature and seclusion

We have already spent our third holiday there and are always thrilled by the beautiful quiet area and the beautiful nature. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for everyday life. We were completely satisfied every time and the contact with the landlord was always nice and helpful when we had questions. We can only recommend it and are already looking forward to our next stay.

A long weekend on Usedom

Our first holiday as a new family couldn't have been better. The area is beautiful and offers all kinds of leisure activities.
The house was perfectly adequate for the 3 of us. The kitchen offers enough space for cooking and eating, and is fully equipped. The fireplace and the Wii were absolute highlights for us
The landlord kindly provided us with a baby travel cot
In general, the communication in advance was great. There was some information about the surroundings and our enquiries were answered immediately.

We are looking forward to our next visit and will definitely stay a few days longer.

The property did not meet our expectations! Also too expensive!
Negative:
- steep staircase (not mentioned in the description)
- no wardrobes
- one bedroom had no door
- kitchen was too small for three people
- unkempt outdoor area, garden furniture had to be cleaned by us before use
- steep cellar stairs, trash disposal was difficult
- advertised organic store had been closed since last year

Vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback. Wir finden es sehr schade, dass unser Ferienhäuschen nicht Ihren Vorstellungen entsprach.

In einem Nurdachhaus (Finnhütte) fällt das Platzangebot geringer aus als in einer geräumigen Wohnung oder in einem Einfamilienhaus, das betrifft auch die Bauart von Treppen. Auch wenn die Steigmaße der Treppe nicht explizit in der Beschreibung aufgeführt sind, kann man doch einen Eindruck aufgrund der vorhandenen Fotos gewinnen. Wir selbst nutzen die Küche auch zu viert mit einem zusätzlichen Kinderhochstuhl.

Da sich unser Ferienhaus direkt im Wald in einem Naturschutzgebiet befindet – was Sie ja auch positiv bewertet haben – können herabfallende Nadeln und Kiefernzapfen gerade bei starkem Regen zu Verschmutzungen von Gartenmöbeln führen, normalerweise wird die Sauberkeit jedoch im Vorfeld geprüft und die Möbel gereinigt. Wir können leider nicht gewährleisten, dass in dem Zeitraum zwischen Reinigung und Anreise keinerlei Verschmutzungen auftreten. Wir werden aber eine Abdeckung für die Gartenmöbel beschaffen, so dass diese besser vor Witterungseinflüssen geschützt sind.

Der Bioladen ist während der Saison geöffnet und die Gäste, die direkt nach Ihnen das Ferienhaus genutzt haben, haben das Angebot des Ladens gelobt.

Wir hoffen dennoch dass Ihnen der Aufenthalt auf Usedom positiv im Gedächtnis bleiben wird und Sie Erholung gefunden haben.

Pure relaxation

There were four of us in the cosy house, with 2 children (7,2). The house is located in the small village of Quilitz, very quiet, in the middle of the forest next to some other thatched roof houses. The beach at the Peenestrom is within walking distance and ideal for children there is also a small playground. The area invites you to go for walks and bicycle tours. The house offers everything you need and is comfortably furnished. If the weather is bad, there is a large selection of books to read, board games, a Wii and a DVD collection - including classic DEFA fairytale films (which were very popular with our kids). We felt very comfortable, are refreshed and will definitely be back!

We love the sea and are very fond of the Baltic Sea - so much so, in fact, that we got married on the island of Rügen in 2011. We often had the thought "I'd like to pack my suitcase and go to the beach now", even if it was only for a weekend. But the effort and time to find a suitable and acceptable accommodation were often the problem. That's why we decided to look for our own holiday home for our family and to design it according to our wishes and requirements. You can see the result here Since we unfortunately cannot use the holiday home 365 days a year, we would like to make it available to other sea, Baltic Sea and beach holiday enthusiasts.
