Description
The property grounds covered 11 hectares of oak woods, olive groves and vineyards, comprising the main house and two charming independent cottages, surrounded by rose and lavender beds. The property offers quiet and privacy; it is an ideal base for touring, walking, cycling. It is within easy reach of motorways and roads leading to the historical towns surrounding it: Siena, Arezzo, Firenze, Roma, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Cortona to mention a few. Tennis, horse riding, golf and thermal baths are in the vicinity. At the guests disposal there is a mosaic tiled swimming pool (17x7m; deep from 1,2m to 2,1m) situated on a natural level which dominates the valley, its hill top towns and church of Santa Maria della Querce, work of Giorgio Vasari. The property also offers an excellent solution for a large group if the villa is rented with the apartments.
THE VILLA (250 sqm) 9 Pers.
This is a magnificent old stone farmhouse on two levels offering a warm and intimate atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a small living room getting into a large living/dining room with fireplace. This dining/living room opens into the Italian garden surrounded by olive groves. The garden is furnished with table and chairs for dining out. On one side of the house overlooking the swimming pool, there is a lovely covered portico and an old oven at the guests disposal. On the ground floor there are also a well equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, cooker and dishwasher) with a small storeroom, a single bedroom and a WC. On the first floor there are 3 double bedded rooms (two of them have their own ensuite bathroom.), one twin bedroom with panoramic terrace and a third bathroom with tub. One of the two double bedroom has its own private outside steps and covered loggia terrace. Satellite TV.
