Description
Casa Murlo is simply a house in the country, and we are a family that has decided to make it available to those who want to visit our beautiful region of Tuscany, and who love to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside. You won't find a fenced property with an automatic gate, common areas equipped with a playground, and luxury furnishings, but simplicity equipped with everything to make your holiday pleasant and serene.
At the moment we do not have Wi fi connection, Casa Murlo is the ideal place to unplug!
Our house is located in the hamlet of Casella, in the municipality of Torrita di Siena, a medieval town close to the most important historical and cultural centres of Tuscany, situated between the Sienese Valdichiana and the Val d' Orcia, which has been declared a Unesco heritage site.
We have a main garden partly used as a lawn, to enjoy the cool summer evenings, equipped with a sun umbrella, table and chairs, as well as a gravelled and partly paved courtyard.
During the summer period from June to September, in common with the other Condominiums, you can enjoy the large 7x15 m swimming pool situated in the highest and most panoramic part of the Podere, which can be accessed from the side road where there are parking spaces, and the surrounding solarium area.
Casa Murlo is composed of an open porch, kitchen equipped with stove, dishwasher, freezer and refrigerator, microwave oven, living room with table and chairs, single sofa bed, TV, small open bedroom with single/double bed, double bedroom, windowed bathroom with washbasin, shower, and toilet, no bidet (the bathroom can only be accessed from the double bedroom or externally from the loggia).
In addition to relaxing in the tranquillity, or cooling off in the large swimming pool, our guests can make excursions to nearby cultural centres, and it is also possible to go trekking in the area, and ride mountain bike trails.
Monpulciano, Pienza, Montefollonico, as well as the cities of Siena, Arezzo and Florence are easily reached by car.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is a side and independent annexe, part of an ancient restored Podere Casella, which is located in a quiet and panoramic position about 2 km from the center of Torrita di Siena, surrounded by farmland and woods. You have to drive along a stretch of dirt road, the last part of which is uphill before arriving at the Podere.
Torrita di Siena is about 10 minutes from the Valdichiana exit of the A1 Milan-Naples freeway.
