Description
The name of this material comes from a stone-carved niche (next to the entrance) where a Madonna stands.
After entering through the electric gate you will find cypresses, olive trees and vines. The estate consists of three stone houses. The biggest is the house of the owners who are very rarely present. The smaller house (Il Fienile) lies approximately 15-20mt from the main house and "La Zizzola" is about 70mt among the two houses.
The swimming pool ( and open from early May to late September) is surrounded by olive trees and above the three houses.
IL FIENILE
Is located about 15-20mt from the main house. It has a wide portico with a table and chairs and a carved in stone BBQ. On the back it has a porch with a beautiful view of the Montecatini level. The house is divided into two floors. Single storey has a living room with table, chairs, satellite TV, a small kitchenette (2 plates), a small refrigerator, dishwasher, a double sofa bed and a shower. On the first floor, reached by a staircase to a hanging sheet, there is a double bedroom.
The "Fienile" is well suited for a family with two small children, no more than three adults. The heating consists of a woodstove.
LA Zizzola
As already mentioned, the house is located about 70mt from "Il Fienile" away, in the countryside, and has two floors. Guests can leave their car to park next to the house.
Single storey, it has a wide portico with table and chairs. The living room is very large and divided by an arch. You will find two comfortable sofas, a fireplace and a table with chairs. On the left side is a small kitchen with dishwasher. From this you get into a room with washing machine. The living room is a staircase to the first floor. Find the left a shower, a double bedroom and a room with twin beds and a second shower.
Both houses are decorated with care and good taste. The owners are very nice and always had a smile for the guests.
A grocery store (Coop) and a public telephone is in Buggiano, about 10km
