The small fishing village of Langholz is located on the Schwansen peninsula between the idyllic towns of Eckernförde and Kappeln, where you can expect a wide range of shopping and leisure opportunities. There is also a wide range of cultural and leisure activities, especially in the summer season. The holiday home is about a five-minute walk from the sea and offers early risers a wonderful sunrise during a morning walk. On the Baltic Sea hiking and driving trail you can intensively experience the beauty of nature on individually adapted routes. The beach invites you to sunbathe and swim, but water sports enthusiasts and anglers also get their money's worth. In the municipality you can find megalithic graves, which indicate settlement in the Stone Age. Ludwigsburg Castle and the Waabser Marienkirche are also particularly worth seeing.

Super cool family vacation
We chose this spot for our first large family vacation with 8 adults and 5 children and felt completely comfortable. The house is really great and leaves almost nothing to be desired. The children were excited about their own small playground and the proximity to the beach is wonderful. The natural beach is quite rocky, but it is a paradise for little explorers and collectors of seashells, stone sea urchins, etc.

Praktische Unterkunft mit Rundum-Sorglos-Paket :)
Das Haus eignet sich ideal für größere Familien- bzw. Freundegruppen. Die Ausstattung für das gemeinschaftliche Essen, Beisammensein und den allgemeinen Alltag ist perfekt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche sowie im Wohnzimmer stehen jeweils ein großer Esstisch, an denen wir alle (7 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder) Platz gefunden haben. Wir konnten also frei entscheiden, ob wir alle gemeinsam in der Küche oder im Wohnzimmer essen. Es gibt einen Kamin mit nahezu unbegrenztem Vorrat an Feuerholz, eine riesige Sofalandschaft, die sich um den Kamin herum anordnet, einen großen Flachbildfernseher, einige Gesellschaftsspiele und einen kleinen Spielplatz hinter dem Haus. Für die Vielzahl an Kleinkindern wurden uns nach Absprache ausreichend Kinderbetten und Kinderstühle zur Verfügung gestellt. Einfach super! Der fehlende Stern in der Ausstattung ist aus unserer "Familiensicht" lediglich auf fehlende Kindersicherungen an Treppen und den fußbodennahen Steckdosen und auf fehlende Luxusausstattungen wie Sauna oder ähnliches zurückzuführen. Also nichts Gravierendes. Es müssten also eher 4,5 Sterne sein.
Der fehlende Stern in der Kategorie Lage ist auf die fehlenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort Waabs / Langholz zurückzuführen. Für sämtliche Einkäufe muss man ins 13 km entfernte Eckernförde fahren. Ein Urlaub ohne Auto ist somit nicht zu empfehlen. Ansonsten ist die Lage super, wenn man es wie wir etwas abgeschiedener und gleichzeitig strandnah mag.
Haus und Garten sind sehr sauber und gepflegt und auch die Vermieter standen jederzeit für jegliche Wünsche zur Verfügung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Weihnachten 2018
Wir waren mit mit 10 erwachsenen Personen und einem Hund über Weihnachten
in diesem sehr großzügigen und komfortablen Haus. Es fehlte absolut gar nichts.
Das Haus war weihnachtlich, geschmachvoll und liebevoll geschmückt. Nüsse, Kerzen, Glühwein, Mandarinen alles war vorhanden. Frau Bülow ist sehr, sehr
service freundlich. Rundum hat es unserer Familie sehr gut gefallen.

Familiemurlaub der besonderen Art
Wir kennen das romantische Fischerdorf Langholz an der Ostsee schon aus KIndertagen. Inzwischen treffen sich die über Deutschland verstreuten Zweige unserer Familie einmal im Jahr dort im Norden.
Das Ferienhaus der Familie Witt ist dabei unsere Unterkunft. Toll eingerichtet, mit zweckmäßigen Details wie 2 Bädern, einer großen Küche mit zwei Küchenblöcken und entsprechend großen Tischen in der Küche und im Esszimmer; liebevoll eingerichtete Schlafzimmer.
Die Aussenanlagen sind ebenfalls hervorragend und bieten sowohl im Sommer als auch im Frühjahr/Herbst tolle Möglichkeiten der Beschäftigung (insbesondere für Kinder).
Das Haus ist Ideal für große Familien oder mehrere kleinere Gruppen etc.
Langholz selbst ist ein idyllisches, ehemaliges Fischerdorf mit naturbelassenen Stränden, wo man sich die gesunde Seeluft so richtig um die Nase wehen lassen kann.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurantes, Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten gibt es genügend im Umkreis von ca. 12 Km Ostseebad Dampauf der einen; Eckenrförde auf der anderen Seite).
Wir kommen immer wieder geren dorthin und genießen die Gastfreundschaft und das tolle Haus von Familie Witt.

It doesn't get any better than this...!
One should be careful with words like perfect or sensational, but here it applies completely! The house is just perfect and you can tell in every room that the owners care about their guests. It is a very quiet area, but you can get everywhere you want to go very quickly. There is a super nice and quiet beach. The kids can relax and let off steam at the same time. The same goes for the adults and the house leaves nothing to be desired. We have never been as thrilled as we are here. There is no second chance for the first impression and the owners are obviously aware of this. There is simply EVERYTHING that promises a perfect holiday. This was definitely NOT our last holiday in this house and we are already looking forward to the next one! Price/performance is more than super here...!

wonderful family holiday
We spent a fantastically beautiful family holiday in the beautiful Langholz as an extended family (three generations) with dog. A big thank you to the Witt/Bülow family who welcomed us so warmly and also provided us with firewood and other goodies:-)! The house is totally super, 6 large and cosy bedrooms a great big living room with dining area and the kitchen a dream. The garden and the beautiful terrace with cosy furniture are just GREAT. The proximity to the sea is just great and the view from the terrace is also FANTASTIC.Our conclusion: We will definitely be back.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub!
Ich kann mich den Worten von Sabine R. nur anschließen, das Ferienhaus ist super!
Uns haben die großen Esstische in der Küche und im Wohnzimmer besonders gut gefallen, an denen wir genug Platz für uns alle gefunden haben (11 Personen)!
Pütt und Pann sind wirklich ausreichend vorhanden, in den zwei Kühlschränken und der großen Abstellkammer ließ sich der Wocheneinkauf problemlos verstauen!
Zum Brötchen kaufen sind wir in das benachbarte Klein Waabs gewandert, dass mit etwas über 2km Weg noch gut für die Erwachsenen und die Kinder (>8Jahre) erreichbar ist.
Der Strand ist tatsächlich etwas steinig, aber mit Badeschuhen (das Baden ging auch im Oktober! ;-) ) oder Gummistiefeln ist es wirklich schön!
Der Bettwäsche- und Handtuch- Service ist toll!

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit Meerblick!
Meine Familie und ich sind mit 4 Kindern und 7 Erwachsenen nach Langholz gereist. Als wir ins Haus kamen, waren wir alle sprachlos! Es ist wirklich ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer toller Ausstattung (ob draußen oder drinnen). Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und uns hat nichts gefehlt. Man lebt in einem kleinem Dorf, ich empfehle, man sollte mit Auto hinkommen, da der nächste große Einkaufsladen 15 min entfernt ist. Die schöne Stadt Eckernförde liegt ca 20 Minuten entfernt, dort kann man gut Bummeln und es gibt einen schönen Strand. Der Strand in Langholz ist ca 4Minuten vom Haus entfernt, nicht der aller schönste Strand,da dort viele Steine sind, aber es ist trotzdem gut.
Es war eine schöne Woche und die Vermieter sind super lieb! Immer wieder, einfach super
