Enjoy your Baltic Sea holiday for two in our 5-star luxury flat with a dreamlike view of the Schlei and unique furnishings at the highest level!
The entire interior was designed exclusively for the holiday flat by the hosts' own carpentry workshop and perfectly tailored to the floor plan. You will feel the maritime ambience as soon as you enter the flat: the light-flooded living room appears very spacious due to the high ceilings, large windows, light colours and the custom-made furniture, and a wonderful view of the Schlei opens up. State-of-the-art technical refinements have been incorporated into the furniture in all rooms. Many lovely accessories and individual maritime paintings by the regional artist Bernd Sievers wonderfully reflect the beautiful location on the Schlei and the Baltic Sea. Comfortable, high-quality leather furniture invites you to linger and the openly integrated kitchen offers brand-name appliances, a cooking island and extensive utensils to conjure up delicious meals
Exciting harbour cinema awaits you on the large balcony: while the sun shines in the blue sky, you can watch the colourful hustle and bustle on the Schlei, water birds flying by, sailing boats coming and going, which pass the Schleibrücke in Kappeln once an hour, and the paddle steamer "Schlei Princess" also regularly starts its excursions here.
After an eventful day of holidaying in the Schlei region, you can relax in the bubbling whirlpool tub and unwind your soul The double bed in comfort height with electrically adjustable slatted frame ensures a pleasant night's sleep in the bedroom
A lockable bicycle shed is available to our guests together with the flat "Port" at the car park for the safe storage of bicycles brought along. Here you also have the possibility to charge your e-bike free of charge!
At the Weidefeld Baltic Sea beach, a beach chair reserved exclusively for your stay awaits you during the summer season and free parking is also assured!

Location and surroundings of object
Surrounded by harbour restaurants and cafés, the "Steuerbord" flat is located directly at Kappeln harbour, just a few metres from the Schlei. The heart of Kappeln, the town centre, is also just a stone's throw away and offers a beautiful pedestrian zone with shops, cafés and boutiques. Some of Kappeln's sights are already visible from your balcony, such as the Schleibrücke (bridge over the river Schlei) and the historic Heringszaun (herring fence), or within a very short walk: the Amanda windmill with historic sawmill and St. Nikolai's church. The region of Angeln offers idyllic Schleid villages and beautiful nature reserves, which you can explore very well by bike!
The nearest larger towns of Flensburg, Eckernförde or Schleswig are also definitely worth a visit.

Luxus
The holiday apartment Steuerbord truly deserves the 5 stars from back to front! You live in true luxury and can't stop being amazed. The fine work and love put into every detail create an incredible environment and a genuine sense of well-being. Most of what we wanted to do, we could do on foot, and as soon as we stepped out the door, we were immediately in the bustling town life of Kappeln. The surroundings were briefly explained to us by the landlady herself, and her welcome was very warm. It was simply beautiful, and we still boast about it to our friends. Highly recommended!

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub
My wife and I received a wonderful holiday as a wedding gift from my parents. We were not sure what to expect, so we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the vacation rental for the first time. The modern and chic furnishings gave us everything we could wish for, and the fabulous view was a dream come true. The beds provided an immediately restful and wonderful sleep, and in the kitchen, we showed off our cooking skills. The beautiful view and fresh air invited us for a wonderful walk every evening, and we kept discovering new corners that we liked very much. We definitely want to come back; the apartment and the small town have won our hearts.
