Location and surroundings of object
The unit is located in Ferragudo and has good facilities. A large pool is available for guests. We recommend our guests to rent a car, because the Algarve is overall very worth seeing. Of course, we are in the mediation to assist you.
The fishing village of Ferragudo is one of the most peaceful and most affordable places in the Algarve. The maze of narrow streets and winding staircases gives a real, genuine impression Portuguese mentality. Against the whitewashed, flower-filled wash houses, often by women of their laundry, and at lunchtime sardines are grilled. In the "Mom and Pop shops" (Mini-Mercados) the purchases are completed. The people are always friendly and helpful.
In the Market you can buy daily fresh fish, seafood and fruit. For a shopping spree at the entrance there is a Lidl supermarket. Especially worth seeing is the small church at the top of the village. It has a magnificent view over the harbor entrance from Portimão and the Atlantic Ocean. Here you can find no concrete blocks or sterile impersonal hotel complex, but luxurious villas, houses, cozy apartments and superb resorts.
The marketplace is the meeting place for locals and visitors. There are plenty of cafes, small bars and bars with beer gardens, even young people are in good hands here. One can also find the post office, a bank and a large variety of restaurants, from traditional Portuguese to international cuisine, but also pizza and Hähnchenbraterei. Every weekend in the summer, a Portuguese festival, which is reminiscent of a big family celebration, even the monthly flea market held findete is worthwhile.

NIE WIEDER
We have never had such a bad accommodation before. The Club Rio complex is beautiful, the location unique, would possibly want to stay there again under a different provider. But the apartment No.1, arranged through Beroli, is beyond all. Furniture partially broken, dishes as well, some mold on them, light switches exposed, water leaking under the electric stove, lamp broken. Okay, furniture can be old, no problem. But one should already pay attention to cleanliness and also the excuse, yes, it was Corona and we haven't rented out for a long time. Especially then I would bring the apartment and the facility up to scratch. I see the administrators responsible for checking every few months what can still be done and what cannot. Well, the faucet and light switches were quickly repaired, everything else is waiting for the next tenant. The mediators were very friendly, that's why I didn't expect something like this. If everything was okay, the price-performance ratio would really be fine.
