Holiday flat SCHIFFSJUNGE in the attic: In this apartment you will find 1 living room, 1 kitchen with dining area, 1 bathroom with bathtub, 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. The very spacious balcony is accessible from the bedroom

The light-flooded flat is comfortably furnished so that you can feel at home from the first day of your holiday. SAT-TV, music system, books and board games are available for your entertainment. The balcony is furnished with table and chairs during the garden season.

The kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, cooking utensils and the necessary small electrical appliances (coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, hand mixer, raclette and fondue machine).

On request, we can provide a cot and high chair for you.

The holiday flats are centrally located in the climatic health resort of Werdum, in the neighbourhood of the pet park. The Haus des Gastes, the miniature golf course and the Werdum Kneipphalle are within walking distance. The beautiful North Sea beaches and the popular coastal bathing resorts of Neuharlingersiel, Bensersiel and Carolinensiel are only a few minutes away by car. In Werdum you will find a bakery, several restaurants and a variety of tourist offers. Shopping facilities are available in nearby Neuharlingersiel.

Cancellation terms:

In the event of a cancellation, the tenant must pay 90% of the agreed rental price (excluding final cleaning, extra services, and guest fee) if re-renting in the same period is not possible. If the property is rented out to another party, only a processing fee of 40 euros will be charged. Therefore, the landlords recommend obtaining trip cancellation or interruption insurance in a timely manner. Should the rental of this apartment be prohibited during the selected travel period due to a governmental general ban on accommodation (epidemic/pandemic), a cancellation will be made free of charge.

The historic village of Werdum in Harlingerland is situated only a few kilometres behind the North Sea dyke, about 4 km from the North Sea spa resort of Neuharlingersiel. The tranquil climatic health resort in the midst of unspoilt nature and endless space is popular with holidaymakers who appreciate the sea, coast, harsh climate and rural tranquillity. Only a few minutes separate you from the unique UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.

>> Water fun
You can reach the North Sea with its fine sandy beach in Neuharlingersiel. Over 500 beach chairs are available during the bathing season. In addition to the Funny Beach facility, there is also a kite and surf school. Relaxing wellness and medical treatments are offered at the Thalasso facility BadeWerk Neuharlingersiel or the Cliner Quelle Carolinensiel. The best way to explore the "mud desert" is with a National Park mudflat guide. Health-promoting Kneipp treatments are available at the Werdumer Kneipphalle.

>> Holiday for all senses
The domestic animal park for rare and endangered animal breeds is particularly popular with young families: here animals can be observed, stroked and fed. The mini-golf course, Kneipp hall, fitness course and children's playground are located in the centre of Werdum. A small museum and a smithy are located around the windmill dating from 1748. Here you can eat the cakes made in the Backhuus, the home-made biscuits and baked bread. You can take a ride through Werdum on the little train "rasender Kalle". Guest boules, bicycle tours, covered wagon rides, a coastal brewery and many events guarantee a holiday for all the senses.

>> Exploring the region
The towns of Esens, Wittmund and Jever and the seaside resorts along the coast are well worth a visit. Island tours and mini-cruises are possible with excursion boats, and you can experience East Frisia with the reasonably priced holiday bus.

Very neat flat

The flat is on the top floor and is very well maintained. The location was ideal for us as we could reach the zoo and the mill on foot. Unfortunately, only a few restaurants are open at this time of year. The short holiday makes you want more and we will definitely come back.

Very nice flat

We were guests in her flat with our granddaughter. We have been coming to Werdum for many years. It is like a second home for us. We were in their house for the first time, but very satisfied. Everything is lovely and well kept. Even the children's room is beautifully furnished. We are already looking forward to our next holiday with them.

Werdum from its most beautiful side

The flat Schiffsjunge with the large balcony is super. Everything is very clean and well maintained, the manager is very friendly. Only the steep stairs take some getting used to. There are many possibilities for excursions around Werdum. You can go shopping in Neuharlingersiel and Essens. The peace and quiet and the pet park are soothing.

We found the apartment as shown in the photos. The petting zoo is lovely for the young and old. It's a pity that the Kneipp hall was closed during Corona.

Really great apartment in a top location!

The holiday apartment "Schiffsjunge" is very nice. A large kitchen with dining area and a separate living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a tub are very cozy in the autumn season. There is not much going on in Werdum right now, and some restaurants are closed. The days were very relaxing.

Werdum is excellent

We have been traveling regularly to Werdum for many years. The health resort is a place of home and relaxation for us. The gentle tourism is very pleasant, the gardens and the whole town are well maintained. The petting zoo is unique and always beautiful. The apartment "Schiffsjunge" that we rented for the first time met our expectations. We could enjoy the evening hours on the large balcony with a beach chair. We will recommend this apartment to our friends.

We were positively surprised by the facilities and cleanliness of the apartment. One bedroom had just been completely redecorated. Only drawback: You can only reach the North Sea by car or bike. However, the travel price is cheaper than staying directly in Neuharlingersiel or Bensersiel.

Short break in Werdum

The apartment "Schiffsjunge" is well-maintained and lovingly furnished. We had a nice short vacation and the peace did us good. Unfortunately, many restaurant owners use February for their company holidays, so we had to look after ourselves at times. With the well-equipped kitchen, this was not a problem.
