Description
Our holiday home is lovingly furnished in country house style, offers pleasant living comfort and sufficient space for up to 5 people. The house is located directly on the shore of the lake with an unobstructed view of the lake
From the terrace of the house you can enjoy the tranquillity and the wonderful view of the lake. A small bathing spot is 30 m from the house.
On the ground floor is the spacious living and dining area with a large terrace window facing the lake. Here is also the separate fully equipped kitchen where our guests will not miss anything.
On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with three beds (the third bed can be pulled out). There is also the bathroom with shower.
Our guests have their own rowing boat at their disposal free of charge.

The holiday home is located in a small holiday home settlement with 16 other houses, very quiet and without through traffic. The car parking space is only a few steps away from the house.
The town centre of Sternberg is only about 700 m away. You will find good shopping facilities and restaurants there.

Sternberg, situated between Schwerin and Güstrow on Lake Sternberg, was founded in 1250 and partly served as a residence for the Mecklenburg princes.

This landscape, which is worthy of protection, offers our guests undreamed-of opportunities and variety, such as hiking, bathing, fishing, sailing, cycling and water tours and, of course, lazing around.
Around Sternberg's rectangular market square with its half-timbered houses, Sternberg presents itself with many cobblestone streets, ornaments on the beams of the houses, remains of the town wall, the neo-Gothic town hall, a well-stocked museum of local history and the all-surpassing brick church of St. Maria and St. Nikolaus from the century. The town is home to many small shops that invite you to stroll and shop.
Short distances to the state capital Schwerin, as well as to Rostock, Wismar and the Baltic Sea imperial baths add even more variety to your holiday time.
As a state-recognised resort, the small town of Sternberg with its cosy old town has an excellent infrastructure and is well equipped for holidaymakers with its many leisure facilities.

Desire for a house by the lake
A beautiful holiday home in a very quiet location. The house was very clean. We didn't miss anything. From the living room and the adjacent terrace, you have a completely unobstructed view of the Sternberger Lake. We also liked that the terrace is protected from views from the neighboring houses. It is only about 50 m from the house to the bathing area. For us, the daily morning swim was one of the highlights.
In a few minutes, you can walk to the beautiful city center. A guided tour of the city and a visit to the approximately 800-year-old city church are recommended there. The surroundings can also be explored wonderfully by bike. Canoe tours in the nearby Warnow Valley or on the Mildenitz River are also recommended experiences.
We can only recommend the holiday property.

Holiday in Sternberg with family including dog
The vacation home is highly recommended. The location by the lake is a dream, just a few steps to the lake. Everything you need is in the house...you can really feel comfortable here. The only note is that the house manager is not punctual. We had to call multiple times for two planned appointments because the times were not kept. But still very, very nice, we will come back.

A house in a picture-perfect landscape. We spent a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house. It is lovingly furnished, spotlessly clean, and has everything you need. The great view over the lake never failed to bring us joy. The bathing area is also only a few steps away. The on-site customer service is excellent and prompt.

Very relaxed vacation
in this beautiful holiday home by the lake. Actually, with persistent dream weather, we mainly spent our time on the terrace, from breakfast in the morning sun to an evening sundowner. The house itself is lovingly furnished, sparkling clean, and quickly made us feel at home. The local support was very helpful and quickly provided us with fishing permits, fishing licenses, and a rowing boat without any complications. We will be back next summer!
