With the holiday home "Am Stein", we offer you a freshly renovated and newly designed holiday home from April 2021, which impresses with its excellent location directly on Lake Sternberg.
In our lovingly furnished cottage, up to 5 people can sleep on the upper floor, divided into two rooms! Adjacent is a small shower room.
On the lower floor is the fully equipped kitchen, which leaves nothing to be desired on holiday, as well as the cosy living and dining room with a 4K Smart TV (55" incl. Netflix, Apple TV and Disney +)
The living area is equipped with an upholstered seating group and the dining area offers space for up to 6 people. Among other things, there is a wood-burning stove, which adds to the cosiness when needed!
In the adjoining bathroom there is also a sauna, which also invites you to relax and unwind. The large terrace window offers a unique and calming view of Lake Sternberg.
This is also possible from the furnished terrace with barbecue.

We offer guided tours of the town, guided tours by the night watchman, cycling tours and guided walks. As landlords, we are required to collect this tax on arrival. |

Only 600 metres away: the swimming pool in Sternberg with slide and diving board. There is a beautiful sunbathing lawn and the old trees guarantee a shady spot even in the summer months. The area is rich in lakes and forests and is ideal for long walks. On the way, you can observe animals such as white-tailed eagles, cranes or badgers and will come across orchid meadows. Worth seeing: the reconstructed Slavic temple castle of Groß Raden in the nature park, the Warnow breakthrough valley with its mixed forests on the steep slopes up to 30 m high and the monasteries of Dobbertin and Tempzin

Very recommended.
Many thanks to Heike and Ingo, who offer a small paradise for nature-loving vacationers. The house is beautifully furnished with many details that make the stay very comfortable: whether it's blankets, pillows, towels, or made beds, you immediately feel welcome. The good contact, personal reception, and valuable support provided by Heike and Ingo are remarkable. No matter whether it's operating instructions, questions about excursions, or special requests, both were always ready to help us. The nature on site is a paradise, and we felt very comfortable. I can only recommend booking a vacation at the "Am Stein" vacation home.

Wonderful holiday by the lake
We say a big, big thank you to Heike and Ingo and your team ;-) for the very clean and lovingly furnished FH. A wonderful house in a beautiful, quiet little town. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. If you are looking for peace, nature and relaxation, this is the place for you.
Schwerin and Warnemünde are easy to reach and definitely worth a visit. The DDR Museum in Dabel and the open-air museum in Groß Raden are highly recommended. For a great view over Sternberg, it is worth climbing the church tower
The FH has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, including a delicious welcome drink.
From the sofa or the terrace you can enjoy the wonderful view of the lake or jump straight in
Fishing, rowing, paddling, SUP, boating, swimming, sauna, walks.....everything is possible.
Watching nature wake up in the early morning with a cup of coffee on the bench by the lake. We enjoyed every second and were always fascinated by the variety of colours at sunrise or sunset
We ended the days with cosy hours by the fireplace. We felt very comfortable and were able to recharge our batteries.
All in all, we had two wonderful weeks of holiday in which we wanted for nothing
We would recommend the Haus Am Stein without reservation.

Schönes und sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, mit allem was man braucht in direkter Lage am See. Sehr ordentlich und sauber. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
