Location and surroundings of object
If you are looking for a place surrounded by nature and silence and yet very close to the town and various events, this is a perfect place for you. This two-floor house is newly renovated and modernized. It offers everything for a perfect vacation for max 11 persons: 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and one toilet, kitchen, large dining room with wooden table and 12 chairs, living room, gym, large balcony, covered terrace with breath-taking sea view, uncovered terrace with large barbecue. Also, there is an open yard, swimming pool, children's playground, and parking. This house is nestled in the hillside with an amazing view of the Dinara and Biokovo mountains, the Adriatic Sea, and Brač Island. If you like walking, it takes only one hour to reach the nearest top of the hill called Saint Vid. You can also enjoy your time cycling and discover nearby villages. If you just want to relax on the most beautiful beach in this area, the pebble beach Artina, you can get there in just a few minutes by car. The nearest town Omiš is only 8 kilometers away. Omiš represents an amazing combination of mountains, the Cetina river, the Adriatic sea, glorious history, and friendly people. We recommend visiting medieval fortresses Mirabela and Fortica which offers a unique view of Omis. If you are interested in exploring underwater, you can book a diving class or semi-submarine trip where you can enjoy all the scenery and wildlife above and below the waves as you cruise in complete safety. If you prefer adrenalin sports there is a range of options: free climbing, rafting, zipline, kite windsurfing, and many others. On the other hand, you can take a bit of rest and enjoy local specialties in one of the taverns, or you can visit Radmanove Mlinice in Cetina canyon and have a meal in a relaxing atmosphere listening the sound of the river. You can also use this opportunity to explore the area by the tourist train or boat which operates a few times a day. Besides amazing nature and a range of activities offered, Omis is famous because of its history. If you have a chance, visit the Pirate battle performance and Festival of Dalmatian Klapa (traditional a capella singing). If you want to feel the buzz of a large city, it takes only 25 min by car to reach Split, the second largest Croatian city. Split is well known because of its Diocletian palace. The Palace is built between the late 3rd and the early 4th centuries and is under the protection of UNESCO. You can also visit nearby towns, such as Makarska, Trogir, Dubrovnik, Imotski, islands Brač and Hvar, and many other interesting places. Visit us and enjoy your peace of paradise.

There is an opportunity to order a grocery supply, we have a colleague from Poljane Prom company that does a complete supply for yachts, villas, sailboats... and you can order all offered in big supermarkets, they would deliver it to villa at the agreed time, payable with a credit card or cash once it is delivered and checked by you. All you need to do is to send us an email with a grocery list with all small details such as quantity, weight, type of other essential details to get it all as accurate as it is possible. Our experience with guests who used this service is more than positive, very good and it saves your holiday time in unknown shops!

We spent a 2-week holiday here with 7 adults and 2 children and were thrilled with the house. It has everything you could want for a holiday, we missed absolutely nothing
We really liked the sea view, especially at breakfast, from the covered terrace. In the evenings we often used the brick barbecue and sat on the terrace, also with sea view.
A trampoline and a nice pool with sunbeds and parasols belong to the house
You should be aware that the next larger town is a good 15 minutes away by car (must).
But there is an absolutely quiet hillside location, neighbours only at some distance.
In Omis itself there are good bathing possibilities, a sufficient food offer, various leisure possibilities. We can especially recommend the quad tour and zip line from our own experience.
All in all, we had a great holiday here and recommend this accommodation without reservation. Very nice and accommodating landlords.

Great holiday home for a large group
Staying at Villa Maruncela was a great experience! We were 6 adults and 5 children and the house is perfectly laid out to fit this many people split on two floors but still very intgrated. We were surprised how extremely clean the house was when we received it - absolutely spotless! It is completely renovated in a very nice moderns style and it is clear that the owners care for their property and their guests. Upon arrival we were greeted by the home owners and the hostess, Tanja, who is very kind and extremely helpful. She really cares for her guests beyond any of our expectations and she was very fast to respond to inquiries. She speaks well English. We enjoyed the many common areas (pool, play garden, terrasses and the large outdoor barbeque area. The kitchen is a bit small when several people are cooking simultaneously but it is very well equiped for cooking for many people.
The location of the house provides good privacy but it is only 5 minutes drive down the narrow mountain road to some very nice beaches (good for snorkeling). Only good option for grocery shopping is in Omis. We recommend visiting the Berekin tavern down the road owned by a very kind local family. They brew their own beer and wine which are surprisingly good.
All in all we can highly recommend to stay are Villa Maruncella - you will enjoy this wonderful house and the many beautful beaches down the coast towards Makarska.
