The holiday villa 'Le Clos' is located at one of the highest points of the small town of Gruissan, offering a fantastic view of the sea, the Pyrenees, and the salt pans of the Salines du Midi, where you can watch the salt harvest.
Behind the driveway on the right side, there are parking spaces for up to three cars, some of which are covered and shaded. When you go up the steps to the house, you first reach the large terrace with the pool area. The front terrace is equipped with sun loungers and patio furniture, making outdoor stays very comfortable during the summer. A fence and a small gate separate the terrace and the pool (about 8 x 4 meters), next to which there is also a small children's pool. On the ground floor, there is the large salon, which is divided into two areas: the living area, which overlooks the front terrace and the pool area, and is comfortably furnished with sofas and a coffee table arranged around the open fireplace and TV, DVD player, and a compact hi-fi system. DSL broadband internet access is available via WLAN. The French terrace doors lead from here to the terrace in front of the house. The dining area is equipped with a large dining table with eight chairs and a matching sideboard. From this area, patio doors lead to the patio and the garden behind the house. The patio behind the house is shadier, so you can retreat here from the very sunny terrace in front of the house during the hottest heat. There is a brick barbecue in the garden. From the garden, a small gate leads directly into the heathland behind the house. Across the hall, opposite the living area, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a double sink, gas stove, electric oven, and a microwave, as well as a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer combination. There is also a dining area, a TV, and a VCR recorder in the kitchen (cartoons can be provided upon request). On the gallery above, there is a sleeping area for one person. A staircase leads from the entrance hall to the first floor, where there are two bedrooms overlooking the sea. From the first bedroom with a double bed, French doors open onto a balcony with wonderful views of the sea. The second bedroom is a family bedroom, equipped with a double and a single bed, with another extra bed underneath. The bathroom features a double sink, bathtub, bidet, and a bathroom cabinet. On this floor, there is also a separate toilet.
On the ground floor, the third bedroom is located, which is equipped with a double bed and offers a view of the garden behind the house. Next to the bedroom, there is a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hand basin, as well as a small utility room with a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. There is another separate toilet on the ground floor.

The holiday villa 'Le Clos' is located in the picturesque small town of Gruissan, a thriving fishing village and seaside resort, on the edge of the La Clape nature reserve. Everything needed to make your holiday as pleasant as possible is in close proximity. About 1 km from the house are beautiful sandy beaches where one can swim or simply sunbathe. Recreational activities such as windsurfing, beach sailing, horse riding, and fishing can all be enjoyed nearby. In the city, there are numerous shops such as grocery stores, newsstands, bakeries, butchers, bars, and restaurants. The heart of the old town is formed by the old, Languedoc-typical circular village ("circulade"), formerly a fortified village, which is concentrically arranged around the ruins of the old fortress on the top of the hill. Around the port and the marina, one can find many seafood specialty restaurants. It is worth visiting the salt pans immediately adjacent to the city with their salt mountains that glisten in the sun.
The La Clape Massif is a designated nature reserve where you can experience nature and enjoy beautiful walks. Hills dominate the view into the interior and form a natural boundary between the coastal region and the flat hinterland. The La Clape region is also famous for its wines, which can be tasted and purchased directly from the producers' cellars. A bit further away is Narbonne with its impressive unfinished cathedral, the old archiepiscopal residence, and archaeological artifacts that reflect the city's history in Roman times. This vibrant city has some excellent markets and is the ideal place to experience Mediterranean culture.

Located about 15 km from Narbonne and Béziers and approximately 20 minutes away from the nearest motorway access. There is a TGV connection from Narbonne station - 4.5 train hours from Paris, 1.5 train hours from Toulouse; from here, there are also international train connections, for example, to Barcelona. There are international airports in Montpellier (60 min), Toulouse (90 min), Perpignan (60 min), and Carcassonne (60 min) with flights to Paris, London, Birmingham, Brussels, etc. Barcelona is about 135 minutes driving time away.
