Description
The holiday home is located approx. 600 m from Lake Ärtingen with its own bathing jetty, on a 19 000 m² park-like property. There are two fire/grill places (one of them covered) on the property and another one at the bathing place, where you can enjoy the summer evenings.
The house is ideal for 2-4 people, fully equipped with modern kitchenette, German and Swedish TV, radio, CD player. WLAN. There is running water and WC and shower in the house.The bathroom was newly added in 2020 and the living area was renoverit in 2021. In the attic there is a double bed and two single beds separated by a curtain.
The surrounding area offers endless hiking trails in a dreamlike nature. In Bengtsfors, 10 km away, there are shopping facilities, Restaurangs, Apoteke and the possibility to rent bicycles and canoes to explore the breathtaking lake landscape/surroundings.
Very good fishing possibilities.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in beautiful Dalsland - what is also called Sweden in miniature. Here you can find everything Sweden has to offer: endless forests, a hilly landscape with many hiking trails, mushrooms and berries and endless lakes.
A dreamlike environment that offers pure relaxation with many excursion destinations in the vicinity and many concerts by local and foreign singers in the summer months.
The house is about 600 m away from the lake Ärtingen.
From the lake Ärtingen (576 ha), which is directly connected to the Lelång (5 299 ha), beautiful canoe trips are possible.
Boat trips are offered on the Dalsland Canal.
In Bengtsfors, 10 km away, you can go shopping and eat very well.

Cancellation terms:
Booking Conditions The booking confirmation will always be made in writing via email. Subsequently, within 14 days, 30% of the rental cost is due as the first installment, which will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation by the renter. A second installment amounting to 40% of the rent is due five weeks before arrival. The final payment is due one week before arrival. In case of cancellation by the renter one month before arrival or later, an additional 70% of the rental cost is due. If the final payment has already been made by this time, 30% of the rental costs will be refunded by the landlord. No additional costs are incurred for earlier cancellation. If the use of the house is not possible due to fire, storm damage, etc., 100% of the amounts paid up to that point will be refunded by the landlord. If arrival is not possible due to new COVID-19 regulations, only 30% of the rental costs are payable (equivalent to the first installment), even if cancellation occurs later than one month before arrival.

A small gem in the west of Sweden
If you are looking for peace away from tourist centers, this little red house with an extremely friendly hostess is the right place! Dalsland is a beautiful region that invites both hikers and cyclists to enjoy a wonderful swim in one of the many lakes.

"Our little house"
Dear Birgit, we want to thank you once again for allowing us to spend 14 days in the little red holiday house. We were able to see and experience a lot. The weather was also favorable. Our Sweden dream

Very beautiful holiday
We had a very nice holiday all around. The property is incredibly large. Our little one could run around the entire property. The trampoline was the absolute highlight for her.
We have never had accommodation with such a well-equipped kitchen. Everything the heart desires was there

Dream holiday
We had a wonderful time in this dreamlike, very sweet holiday home. When we arrived, we immediately felt comfortable and at home. We wanted for nothing. The particularly large and gorgeous grounds were ideal for our children to play, hide and seek and romp around. The very friendly owner, who lives right next door, gave us many valuable tips for discoveries and events in the vicinity (moose, sweets, concerts...) and was always able to provide us with fresh eggs.
The lake is beautiful and invites you to swim. We especially liked that you could jump into the water directly from the jetty. So we had our own private bathing spot.
We can recommend "our Lillestugan" unreservedly and warmly.
