Holiday flat in the house 'Residenz am Meer' Baltic Dreams
Our holiday flat is located in the newly built house, the 'Residenz am Meer', in an exclusive location of Börgerende and yet very quiet and idyllic. You look onto the dyke with the adjacent Baltic Sea beach, which is only 120 metres away.
Features
There is plenty of space for 4 adults on about 80 sqm. The additional accommodation of a toddler up to approx. 3 years is possible in the cot provided free of charge. All rooms are tastefully and generously designed, so that you can also spend a nice time in the holiday flat itself. Of course, a parking space also belongs to the flat
Cosy living room
The spacious living room with dining area, sofa and armchair is particularly cosily furnished. Here you will also find the media area with flat-screen satellite TV, DVD system with radio and iPhone connection as well as books and travel guides. From the living room you have access to your own south-facing balcony (9.5 m2) with comfortable furniture and a beach chair. You can use the internet and W-LAN free of charge.
The bedrooms
The large bedroom is equipped with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m), a 3-door wardrobe, very attractive furniture and another flat-screen TV. From the bedroom you have direct access to a small round balcony with a view of the Baltic Sea.
The 2nd bedroom is somewhat smaller and equipped with 2 beds of 0.90 m x 2.00 m. The second bedroom has a double bed. The 2-door wardrobe with mirror provides sufficient storage space.
Comfortable kitchen
The kitchen is fully and luxuriously equipped: Built-in oven, built-in microwave, large induction hob, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge and separate freezer, toaster, kettle, children's high chair and a fully integrated washing machine are provided for your own holiday kitchen. There is nothing you will miss in the way of crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. If the weather is bad, just drink a latte macchiato from the Dolce Gusto coffee machine and enjoy the day.
The 2 bathrooms
The appealing two comfort shower bathrooms are modernly designed and furnished. A towel dryer, hair dryer, cosmetic mirror, soap dispenser and little extras ensure your well-being.
A coin-operated laundry dryer is also available in the house.

Tips for Börgerende and the surrounding area:
The municipality of Börgerende-Rethwisch with approx. inhabitants is located between the Baltic Sea resorts of Heiligendamm and Warnemünde.
The elongated village borders on the 'Conventer Niederung' nature reserve. Peat is still extracted from this area for the Doberan moor baths. The 'Conventer See' nature reserve is also one of the most important waterfowl breeding and resting areas on the coast.
The many thatched half-timbered houses and the lovingly preserved historic manor houses and farms lend Börgerende a lot of charm. All the new buildings in this village are in the style typical of the Baltic Sea coast and give the village a quiet and tranquil ambience.
Built in the immediate vicinity of the dyke, it is only a few metres from the Residence by the Sea, which was completed in 2013, to the wide bathing beach.
There are many different leisure activities in Börgerende and the surrounding area: Water sports, hiking and cycling, wellness and fitness facilities as well as numerous cultural events. Riding stables and golf courses, tennis and squash centres are in the immediate vicinity, as are marinas and the casino in Warnemünde.
The Residenz am Meer is the ideal starting point for all this - and at the same time the perfect place to retreat and find peace and relaxation. Why not enjoy a good cup of coffee or latte macchiato in the sunny atmosphere on the balcony?
Restaurant tips:
-Half-timbered restaurant in Börgerende, Seestraße 83 / corner Waterkant (approx. 350 m from the flat)
- Strandschloß Arielle (mainly Italian), Seestraße 83 (directly on the dyke)
Shopping:
In Börgerende there is a well-stocked 'corner shop' with a good selection of bread and rolls.
There are also various newspapers here; the shop is easy to reach on foot, by jogging or faster by bike.
For larger purchases, we recommend the very well-stocked Edeka market in Bad Doberan. Leave Rethwisch on the right in the direction of Bad Doberan, leave the roundabout at the third exit, directly opposite the Jet petrol station. There is also a dm drugstore and an Aldi supermarket here.
Excursion tips:
Börgerende is not only a place for water lovers, but also for nature lovers. A hike through the ghost forest in Nienhagen or to Heiligendamm, a visit to Doberan Minster, a trip to Warnemünde to get a taste of overseas air, to the Baltic resort of Kühlungsborn, or a train ride on the Molli are just a few suggestions for an interesting and varied stay.
Experience a great day at Rostock Zoo or visit Karls Erlebnisdorf in Rövershagen, a popular destination for the whole family. Do you love speed? Feel the adrenaline rush on a ride on the summer toboggan run in Bad Doberan, where you will experience rapid descents over 721 m at an average speed of 30 km/h.
The Hanseatic city of Rostock, only about 15 km away, has a lot to offer for young and old:
Harbour flair: trendy meeting place, entertainment and epicurean mecca - the city harbour with its wide waterfront promenade and quaint pubs is now a tourist gem.
Rostock's heart beats in the city harbour: for the annual Hanse Sail, millions of visitors transform the harbour area into a colourful entertainment mile.
Other worthwhile sights include Rostock Zoo, the IGA Park or the botanical garden, the Shipbuilding and Shipping Museum on the traditional ship or why not take a grand harbour tour on one of the passenger ships. Of course, Rostock also invites you to go on an extensive shopping tour in the beautiful old town.

By car:
From the west, you can reach Börgerende via the A20 and the exit 'Bad Doberan'.
From the south, take the A19, then the A20 and again the exit towards 'Bad Doberan'. There you drive in the direction of Börgerende-Rethwisch.
By train:

Very nice apartment
Very nice, well-equipped apartment. Tastefully furnished and clean. It is also worth mentioning that both bedrooms are equipped with a television. Unfortunately, there is no bakery nearby, only a kiosk that offers baked rolls. Otherwise, a nice quiet area perfect for hiking, cycling, and enjoying the beach.

Baltic Dreams
The vacation apartment is located in a quiet area. It is in the attic, but not hot in summer. It has a balcony that is well-equipped, just like the apartment itself. Everything you need is available. I can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience.

Only one name remained for us: Baltic Dreams - Baltic Sea Dreams! Bought in 2015 Why accommodation in Börgerende-Rethwisch? Börgerende radiates peace and relaxation and is so centrally located that you can discover and experience the beautiful Baltic Sea coast and the Mecklenburg countryside in all directions. This wonderful feeling of being at home when we first entered the flat cannot be described in words! We immediately felt at home and were like in love! We wish our guests that you experience the same indescribable feeling and that you will gladly visit us again and recommend us to others. Feel like you are in a dream - it is your Baltic Sea dreams!
