The apartment has eien size of 90m², the ground floor has a cozy living and dining area with cable TV, stereo, sofa and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven with hot air function and a large fridge freezer.

Medemblik is about 1 km away from the park one of the oldest cities directly on Ijsselmmeer. With 3 marinas, small alleys and shops, cozy restaurants, the bakery museum and a steam engine museum. Medemblik is not only famous for the modern sailing center, but also for the cozy old port and the completely restored castle Radboud, so there is something for everyone to see or explore.
Numerous restaurants and nightclubs complete the offer.
Medemblik is the home port for the steam locomotive, which oscillates between the picturesque towns Medemblik and Hoorn. After Enkhuizen brings a steamer, where you can visit the famous Zuiderzee open air museum and the interesting, historic Museum.
On foot you can reach the "Vooroever project". Sailing, swimming, surfing or lounging; on the banks of the IJsselmeer, anything is possible. In the midst of a magnificent setting. Tulip fields, windmills, farms, ditches, canals and vast pastures make up the beautiful landscape of West Friesland ..

Our small holiday park Klein Giethoorn is located in rural Opperdoes. It is a park with a total of only 30 bungalows. At our house, you can create your own boat or sitting relaxed and fishing on the private jetty. It is a quiet park but near there is enough entertainment for young and old. There is something for everyone.
Within a 1/2 to 3/4 hour you can reach by car the most beautiful destinations in North Holland as Alkmaar with its famous cheese market, Edam, Volendam, Den Helder or Amsterdam.

Absolute relaxation vacation
We had a very nice time in Opperdoes and really enjoyed our vacation. It was uniquely quiet throughout the entire holiday period. Even the construction work in the holiday park went by us silently.
An absolute recommendation for those who love peace and nature!

Accommodation was fine - landlord uncooperative and unfriendly!
My buddy (booked) and I actually had a nice week in the house.
The equipment is fine, the location too, the price-performance ratio was right here.
The cleanliness was also fine, many cobwebs and spiders, but otherwise okay.
However, the worst happened after the trip:
I accidentally left a very expensive charging cable from Apple behind and contacted the provider directly after a day. I urgently needed this for work. The landlord assured me that he would have the cleaning lady send the charging cable the following weekend. That was actually too late for me, but it was also my fault, so it was okay. He said there would definitely be a shipping fee of 10.00-15.00€, which was completely fine with me.
Since I hadn't heard anything for days, I contacted him again. I was told it had been sent. When I asked for a tracking number, which we had agreed upon, there was no response. When it still hadn't arrived over a week later, I inquired again. He apologized and said he would finally send it now, but he couldn't do anything more for me. Although it was initially said that I should pay for the shipping, I never received an invoice.
The end of the story: I never received my cable, no tracking information, and no invoice for the shipping. I also pointed this out to ferienhausmiete.de, but they couldn't help me. After inquiring again with the provider, he ended up being very rude and told me never to contact him again.
Now, a year later, I remembered this and thought I should warn people here. If there is a problem, the landlord is neither solution-oriented nor honest. I have all the correspondence saved, of course.
I have no idea where my charging cable is now and whether it has been sold or thrown away.

Very nice holiday home, we felt very comfortable. Nothing was missing, everything was there. Great contact from the start with the landlord. Everything went smoothly. Very beautiful area, we would love to come back.

Fishing holiday
The house is well equipped with everything you need. You could sleep very well in the beds, but they could have been a bit wider. What I liked very much are the insect screens on ALL the windows. The sofa was very small, it could have been bigger. Since we were there during the World Cup, my husband and son were disappointed with the TV programme. We could only watch one German channel. The house is very good for anglers because of the jetty, and it's also great to be able to sit down there. The pavilion on the jetty is just great, as we had very hot days. Unfortunately, you can't sit on the terrace with the parasol when it's very hot, but it would be great if you could adjust the parasol to the sun.
The complex is very well maintained and the reception was very very nice and very helpful. The days were very relaxing and Medemblik is a great place. The city walk Medemblik is to be recommended. We walked all the points.
Many THANKS for the great days and we will definitely COME BACK next year!!!!

house by the water's edge
A bright, beautifully situated, functionally furnished house with a very old tube television. 1 German-language channel (ZDF).
The park manager is not responsible for anything. He only hands over the key and the card for the barrier.
The area is very beautiful, there is a lot to do.
We will definitely come back to the Ijsselmeer, just not to this house and this complex.

Die uraltem Röhrenfernseher, ist jetzt ausgewechselt worden mit eine neue 40"Smart TV. Alle gäste, viel Fernsehn vergnügen.
