Description
Freshly renovated and comfortably furnished holiday apartment located on the ground floor (with a small staircase at the entrance door, to the terrace, and to the bedroom).
It accommodates up to 4 people:
• A large double bedroom with a view of the garden.
• A modern bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
• Own washing machine.
• A spacious, fully equipped kitchen-living room with dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, 4 hotplates, coffee maker (French press), kettle, pans, pots, etc. • A sofa bed in the eat-in kitchen for up to two additional guests.
• Southwest-facing covered terrace with garden and garden furniture.
• Parking spaces for cars and buses are sufficiently available.
• Bicycles can be stored covered and locked.
• Pets are allowed by arrangement (we have a whole zoo ourselves: cats, geese, horses, . . . ).
The following is also offered:
• Small work desk in the eat-in kitchen.
• Bed linen and towels are included. • If the space in the holiday apartments is not sufficient, you are welcome to set up a tent or caravan for a small additional fee.
• There are several barbecue areas and fire pits outside.
• All rooms/apartments are non-smoking.
• There are plenty of brochures, guides, and maps for activities available.
• Various board games are available for rainy days.
• There is deliberately no television.

Location and surroundings of object
Located 15 km north of Lake Constance, the Baustadel offers a small oasis for holiday guests, still sufficiently close to human civilization but far enough away from everyday life.
Our small hamlet is located between the villages of Beuren and Steigen, directly below Heiligenberg Castle.
Characteristic for the Baustadel is the seclusion in nature, the environment that invites you to relax and explore and a breathtaking panoramic view from every location over large parts of the Linzgau to deep into the Alps.
We are just outside the village. So there is more than enough space all around for children to let off steam without depriving parents of the peace and quiet they deserve.
Directly in front of the house there are several signposted hiking trails and a bus stop "Baustadel".
For the friends of the cool wet there is the free outdoor swimming pool at the Salemer Schlosssee (5 km), an indoor and outdoor swimming pool in Heiligenberg (1 km walking distance) or the Lake Constance (approx. 15 km).
Otherwise, there are of course all the well-known (and less well-known) activities in the Lake Constance region about which we are happy to provide information.
And if you think Lake Constance is a fog-ridden water pot, you're absolutely right! Our motto is:
Fog can be very beautiful. You just have to see it from above!
So a stay here is also worthwhile in the autumn and winter months..

Natural and relaxing
Thank you very much for a very relaxing week in the beautiful vacation apartment. Very nice, friendly, and helpful landlords. We could relax as a family with a small child, observing the animals on the farm and enjoying the great garden.
Beautiful idyllic location + shopping opportunities, excursion destinations at Lake Constance, playgrounds, and swimming options accessible by car in just a few minutes.
And especially the view into the valley + towards Lake Constance is amazing.
