Description
Freshly renovated and comfortably furnished holiday apartment located on the ground floor (with a small staircase at the entrance door and to the terrace).
Accommodates up to 6 people:
• One large double bedroom.
• One slightly smaller room with bunk beds for children or young-at-heart adults (beds are 2x0.9m).
• A sofa corner with a sofa bed (double bed).
• A modern bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, and its own washing machine. • A spacious eat-in kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, 4 hotplates, coffee maker (French press/plunger), kettle, pans, pots, etc.
• Southwest-facing covered terrace with garden and garden furniture.
• Sufficient parking spaces for cars and buses are available.
• Bicycles can be stored covered and locked.
• Pets are allowed by arrangement (we ourselves have a whole zoo: ducks, geese, horses, . . . )
The following is also offered:
• Small work desk in the large bedroom (for those who can’t leave work behind…).
• Bedding and towels are included.
• If the space in the holiday apartments is not enough, you are welcome to set up a tent or caravan for a small additional fee.
• There are several barbecue and fire pits outside.
• All rooms/apartments are non-smoking.
• Brochures, guides, and maps for activities are available in abundance. • Various board games are available for rainy days.
• And last but not least, by the sofa there is a legendary 3D screen with over 2 m screen diagonal that broadcasts live around the clock perhaps the most beautiful panoramic view of the Linzgau (see photos, there is deliberately no TV ;-)

Location and surroundings of object
located 15 km north of Lake Constance, Baustadel offers a small oasis for vacation guests, still sufficiently close to human civilization but far enough away from everyday life.
Our small hamlet is located between the villages of Beuren and Steigen, directly below Heiligenberg Castle.
Characteristic for the Baustadel are the seclusion in nature, the environment that invites you to relax and explore and a breathtaking panoramic view from every location over large parts of the Linzgau region deep into the Alps.
We are just outside the village. So there is more than enough space all around for children to let off steam without depriving parents of their due rest.
Right outside the front door there are several signposted hiking trails and a bus stop "Baustadel".
For the friends of the cool wet there is the free outdoor pool at the Salemer Schlosssee (5 km), an indoor and outdoor pool in Heiligenberg (1 km walk) or Lake Constance (about 15 km).
Otherwise, there are of course all the well-known (and lesser known) activities in the Lake Constance region about which we are happy to provide information.
And if you think Lake Constance is a fog-ridden water pot, you are absolutely right! Our motto is:
Fog can be very beautiful. You just have to see it from above!
So a stay here is worthwhile even in the autumn and winter months..

Above Lake Constance
We were at Lake Constance between the years and really liked our accommodation. A large, friendly flat and everything newly renovated. Above all, the large window with the wonderful view of the lake and the Alps was top! The kids were very fond of it. They also liked the walk-in shower ?
In front of the house, the dog and the cats were waiting to be petted and the geese let us know when they wanted to be left alone.
The landlords were very nice and could give us a lot of information about the area
The house is a bit remote, but very quiet. It is highly recommended for people who like to be close to nature and avoid the tourist centres! If you want to visit the sights, you can leave your car at home, because there is a bus stop right in front of the house

Beautiful family holiday!
Although it was very short notice, we were very lucky to get this flat. The flat is very nice, clean and lovingly furnished. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired. The house is in a quiet location and the view is just great. When the weather is nice, you can even see the Alps
The ducks, free-range geese and the loving dog were a joy for us and our children. The hosts themselves are very friendly and helpful.
We felt very comfortable right away and can highly recommend this holiday flat!
