Via a large entrance area you enter the tastefully furnished living room with partially visible roof truss. Here you will find a large cosy seating combination, satellite LCD TV, DVD player and Dolby Surround hi-fi system and swivelling fireplace. The modern kitchen, equipped to a high standard, integrates perfectly into the living and dining room, which offers enough space for 8 people. The basement has floor tiles and underfloor heating throughout. Here you will also find a large bathroom with spacious sauna (extra exit to the sheltered terrace) and a utility room with storage facilities, washing machine and !
Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed (only suitable for children) under the roof and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Some of the bedrooms have TV. The floor is covered with parquet. There is also a second shower room

Location and surroundings of object
The exclusive Honka log cabin, completed in January 2016, is situated in a dreamy south-facing location on a small stream on a generously landscaped property with a view of the wooded Bode Valley and the Wurmberg. Our second holiday home Bergwaldlodge Auszeit, object 92288, is located on the neighbouring property. The Brocken summit is 5 km away. The dreamy mountain village lies at an altitude of 622 m and offers many leisure activities and pure relaxation in summer as well as in winter. The Brockenbahn railway station is about a 10-minute walk away. Hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks can be reached directly from the house. Baker, supermarket, restaurant, savings bank or café are only a few minutes away. Wernigerode and Braunlage are only a few minutes away by car. At the entrance to Schierke you will find the Brockencoaster (bobsleigh run) - fun for the whole family.
Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (on the neighbouring Wurmberg) or horse-drawn sleigh rides in winter, horse-drawn carriage rides, horse riding, mountain biking, Nordic walking, climbing or hiking in summer - Schierke offers you a wide range of leisure activities.
A holiday without a car is possible.

| We reserve the right to rent out only on a weekly basis during the high season. Please enquire about booking periods that are shorter than the minimum stay. Energy costs for electricity and gas will be charged additionally according to consumption from October 22 onwards, as well as the one-off cleaning. Linen is included in the price for all travellers (1 package per person: 2 towels, bed linen), shower mats, kitchen towels are available. Please transfer the deposit. This will be returned 2 weeks after departure at the latest. Visitor's tax will be charged according to the local tariff. Please pay cash on arrival. The first supply includes washing-up liquid, soap, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper. |
Cancellation terms:
If the tenant cancels the lease agreement up to 6 weeks before the start of the trip, we will charge a cancellation fee of €50.00. If cancellation occurs within 6 weeks prior to the start of the trip, we will charge 50% of the total accommodation costs, and if cancellation occurs within 4 weeks before the trip, we will charge 100% of the total accommodation costs. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. In the event of a lodging ban in our district, cancellation is not necessary. You can reschedule or have the rent already paid refunded.

The house has a large SW terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Parking is available at the house. Bicycles and ski equipment can be locked in a shed attached to the house.
A small brook flows directly by the house on the generously laid out property. There are 5 other houses of the same design at a large distance.
Absolutely quiet location directly in the greenery, quiet babbling of the small brook, from the large SW terrace you have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain landscape and the Wurmberg.

Wonderful
We felt very comfortable. The furnishings are very tasteful. The kitchen has everything a connoisseur's heart could desire. The reception was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Super vacation home..we would love to come back
We were totally impressed by the house as well as the on-site support. Everything worked great with the handover, the house was super nice, clean, and modernly furnished. Nothing was missing. We wouldn't know what could be improved here. :-) We will definitely come back.

A beautiful house with great furnishings and nice extras like a wood-burning stove and sauna. Very well maintained. Nice contact with the landlords, great service on site. Ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the area. We can only recommend this property and will definitely be back!

Then we were infected: our first holiday home was built in 2010, two more in 2015/2016 The beautiful surroundings of Schierke offer its guests to get to know nature at any time of the year. Bizarre rock cliffs and enchanted forests invite you to hike and climb. The snowy landscape remains unforgettable. The proximity to the alpine skiing area of Braunlage is also beautiful.
