Very nice fishing holiday

We had booked a week's fishing holiday here. Everything was fine and very well organised. The communication with the landlord and the handling was very commendable
The house has a perfect location and is well equipped. The beautiful sauna with a fantastic view and the large meadow with barbecue facilities in front of the house are of course a highlight.
We had booked 3 boats with motor, also here everything was fine

We will gladly come again ?

Fishing holiday

We were seven people, five adults and two children. It was planned as a fishing holiday, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, Lake Bolmen was frozen. But during the day it was sunny, windless and plus temperatures
The house is clean, spices, detergent, washing-up liquid, toilet paper - everything was available. 200 metres on foot is a small park (open seasonally), very great view, clean air and sauna by the lake. All in all, we were very satisfied. We would gladly recommend the resort to others and would like to repeat a holiday there ourselves!

Northern Lights bliss, waterfalls and sociable sauna evenings

Our time in the holiday home at Lake Bolmen was wonderful! We cooked together every day in the well-equipped kitchen, enjoyed the view of the lake, discovered the surrounding forests and spent one or two evenings together in the sauna - of course not without lying in the snow or rubbing ice on ourselves during the breaks. One evening we were particularly lucky and were able to spot northern lights on the horizon due to increased solar activity! The slight shimmering could be seen all the better with a long-exposure camera shot.
The location is just perfect, we are already planning our next visit. There is also a great alpacka farm (Rataryd Alpacka) within driving distance, where we had a personal guided tour, and beautiful natural spectacles such as the waterfalls "Danska Vallen".
Our ski tours were also a special highlight! We visited the ski resorts Valassen and Isaberg - especially the former is wonderful for complete ski beginners!
The house is very well equipped - from waffle irons to insanely comfortable beds and torches for night-time walks, everything is provided. We are planning to unpack the fishing rod and rent one of the available boats with propulsion on our next holiday.
We can only recommend this accommodation!

A dreamlike beautiful place!!!

We were there with 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We didn't miss anything in this house! The sauna is nice and big, and the highlight is the view of the lake! We liked everything very much and have already recommended this accommodation to friends and family!

Best place we ever rented in Sweden

This was the best place we ever rented in Sweden in 15 years. The best part is the sauna which has a large deck right next to the lake and is connected to the house via a well kept lawn. It catches the sun all day so even if the weather is not 100% you can still live outside from breakfast in the early morning until a midnight sauna. The village itself is very calm and isolated and the lake just beautiful. As well as the rowing boat and an extra electric powered boat included we took our SUP boards and could easily reach the nearby islands and beaches. It was great.

Relaxing holidays with stunning view

It was the second time we visited this cabin. The cabin is very well equipped and comfortable and the views of the lake are stunning. We enjoyed being able to have a swim just outside The house. The area is beautiful with the forest and it was fun to discover the lake with the boat. Very recommendable!

Dreamy week

I can recommend this place to anyone who wants to get out of the city and enjoy an amazing, relaxing week on the countryside. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 toddlers/babies and it worked just fine. We enjoyed every minute of our visit in this house. 5/5 no doubt.

Our dream house by the lake with a view of moose!

The holiday house right by the lake was very much liked by me and my family! The forest playground around the corner (about 300m away) and the evening campfire including bread on a stick brought a lot of joy to our children. The peace by the lake is simply wonderful and if you then have the luck like us to see a moose (on the island opposite) directly from the house, that is certainly an unforgettable moment! The boats are very practical for fishing and reliably took us across the lake. But the highlight is the breathtaking sauna right by the lake with a panoramic view. The contact with Jimmy (the host) was very friendly and competent. We would love to come back!

Excellent

Kitchen is well equiped, very home like atmosphere. Excellent sauna with good view on the lake. There is a fireplace and barbecue. One con is that there are neighbours close and the often make noicec with lawnmower etc. Overall very pleacent place for holidays.

A week to relax

We had a fantastic week in this great house. The house and the surroundings were perfect for relaxation. We had nice weather and could enjoy the sun, peace, and views all around the house during the day on all seating areas. As soon as it gets dark, you can see countless stars. We slept well in the large bed and woke up to the singing of the birds. We took lovely walks in the area and after a week, we were completely relaxed. I can wholeheartedly recommend this house to everyone.

A high-quality experience at Lake Bolmen

The house is beautifully located right on the lake. With the electric motor on the boat, we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings in silence. Fishing, swimming, barbecue, sauna - a lovely family time. Well-equipped kitchen. Beds very comfortable. The host Jimmy was very friendly and helpful, he also recommended sights and restaurants to us.

Sylvester in the Sauna

We booked this house shortly before New Year's Eve and arrived with two families. The house is located directly on Lake Bolmen so that you can jump into the water after visiting the sauna. The house is well equipped, we didn't miss anything. It is very cozy and cuddly warm due to the underfloor heating. The view in the morning when you wake up is absolutely breathtaking. The location was also great, with some shopping opportunities nearby, the Fairy Tale Museum, Elk Park, and a farm. But we also took the boat out and walked through the forest for hours. The children really enjoyed the campfire with bread on a stick by the shore.

In any case, we will come back in the summer.

Very nice holiday home in prime location

This holiday home offers everything you need, especially for nature lovers and anglers. The direct access to the lake and the available motorboats allowed us to have an unforgettable fishing experience, where we managed to catch numerous walleye and pike. The house itself offers a lot of comfort and is well equipped. Jimmy & Family were directly available for any kind of problems and questions. A wonderful holiday that we would love to repeat. Beautiful vacation in Greece

We arrived and immediately felt comfortable, the house, sauna, and everything around it are just as it should be. Great house with sauna right by the lake

The house with 3 bedrooms and a conservatory is located directly on Lake Bolmen. 10 meters from the house is the wood sauna located directly on the shore. Everything is new and very well maintained. Wood for the sauna stove was available. We have recovered well. Very quiet location. We can recommend it.

Sommerurlaub

It was a very pleasant stay in Odensjö and the house is really recommendable. Warm welcome even though we arrived before the scheduled time. Jimmy explained everything well for the rest of the stay. We fished pike and perch, looked for mushrooms, and went for many walks. The house has everything you need. Lidhult and Ljungby invite for shopping. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good, but the peace and quiet make up for it. We will definitely come back again, we are true fans of Sweden :)

Wonderful house by the lake

A fantastic house with great amenities and a perfect location by the lake. Enjoying the view of the lake during breakfast in the morning and watching the sunset on the terrace behind the house in the evening. We also used the boat and the incredibly beautiful sauna (with a view of the lake) frequently. The landlords were very nice and keep the house and garden in great condition.

A beautiful holiday home, pure tranquility!! Cruise the lake with a boat and go fishing. And in the evening, relax in the sauna overlooking the lake. Absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the house with four people and a dog, there was enough space.

holiday in Sweden

We have had a great holiday in a beautiful home with all kitchen things available. Be bring in a lot of stuff for cleaning, coffee and washmachine but we did not use our stuff because there was plenty in the house. It is a great house with all you can wish. The garden is beautiful and straight on the lake. We were there with friends and 2 dogs and we have walked a lot in the forest. The owner of the house was very kind and helpfull with everything. And his reaction on our questions by app was very quick. I recommend this house to everybody who loves nature, quitness and freedom

A beautiful vacation home that we have been booking for our relaxation holidays for 6 years now. The location and the amenities are just great. If you don't catch fish here, you're really unlucky. Lots of zander and occasionally a pike or perch on the line.

Awesome cottage in idyllic place

It was our third stay at wonderful Jimmy’s house. It’s a real jewel: on a lake, with a nice sandy beach, large boat with a motor. The house is so modern and well planned with breathtaking views at the lake. In the early hours you can see the deers coming to water. The house is surrounded by forests with easy access by walking or driving in.
There is so much to explore on the lake and in the forests, that we would come back again!

Great house in a quiet location

The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The spacious living/dining area is cozier than it appears in the photo. In the evenings, you can enjoy your time by a bonfire right by the lake. The landlords are accommodating, and the communication was perfect. All agreements were kept by the landlord. The only thing I personally didn't like was the shower, but it serves its purpose.

Perfect fishing and recreation holiday

The location of the house is beautiful directly on the lake Bolmen, as in the photos.

The house is clean, very well maintained, comfortable and modern. The equipment includes everything you need for a nice holiday.

This is the 5th time we have spent our fishing holiday here and we enjoy the peace and nature of the Bolmen. The possibility to rent more than one boat (with or without motor) is super and important for us, we have never found that elsewhere.

The landlord is very nice and uncomplicated, so booking, paying, etc. is also completely problem-free in advance.

We can only recommend the house and will definitely be back.

Magically beautiful ♥

We had 2 wonderful weeks in a great house, in a beautiful place by a lovely lake! We had plenty of space for 4 persons plus a dog. The entire furnishings are top-notch. We slept great in the beds. The first week, we had fantastic weather. We spent a lot of time on the lake with the motorboat, either fishing or just relaxing. The second week, we used to explore the surroundings. If we had any issues or questions, Jimmy responded quickly. Today is our last day in Odensjö and we are sad that we are driving home tomorrow.
A highly recommended house with nice landlords. We were not here for the last time :-)

Super Ferienhaus

The vacation home is really great and everything is up to date. You have a lot of space and everything you need. The location is superb, with an optimal view of the lake from the living room, which is about 10 meters away. We rented the motorboat that comes with the house and went fishing a lot. It is an ideal starting point for fishing, and we had a great time. Whether it's for a fishing vacation or just to relax and enjoy nature, I can highly recommend the vacation home. The landlords are very nice and were always easily reachable for questions.
